I want to see owner picture of the Milo but can't find it anywhere!! Does nobody have him?? Dx he's so flipping adorable I want him!!!!

Also the Ellis! I wanted him until I stared at him longer and realized he was a bit eyed lol his eyes are a little too far apart.

I just discovered Miri some days ago and I *love* her delicate features!, the body doesn´t caught my eye, but I think it´s pretty decent. I´m doubting about getting her head during the sales promotion and make her an hybrid on a more graceful body, or get the complete doll later...

I have a Milo head (with company faceup) ordered!
Hopefully going to hybrid him with a FantasyDoll body, suits what I need much better than the MK one.

 

Are Milo and Miri the same sculpt? I love them both! BynByn, please post pics of your guy once he arrives, I would love to see!

 

They're pretty similar, but definitely not the same.

Hello, I am wanting to do a hybrid with a Mystic Kids girl body and was wondering if anyone here know of any companies who might match either pink or white skin? (Though it is rather a shame that Miri's face would not suit the character I am trying to make because that sculpt is adorable >w<)

Doll-Love pink skin is an excellent match, I'd say about a 95% match to Mystic Kids pink.
I'll get some pics for you ASAP, it's night here at the moment so I'll take some photos when I have natural light ^__^

 

@BynByn93: Thank you! I am a bit scared of attempting a hybrid though. I adore the female body's lines, but even the company head looks a bit large on it when you look at the blank photos. I am second guessing myself now >x<;

Overall, MK is a bit more pinker, DL is more pale, but the match is still is still excellent.

 

OH MY GOSH. I had pretty much given up on getting an SD doll of the character I wanted, but Eileen is PERFECT for her! And Mystic Kids was the only body I had seen that I really liked for her!~ So so SO happy they released her~

Also! BynByn93 Thanks for sharing that. Another company that matches pretty well to Doll Love is Dollzone, which is slightly pinker than Doll Love. So logically Dollzone and Mystic Kids have similar pinks as well. Hope that helps anyone who needs it owo

 

Hey guys, does anyone knows if the MK pink skin matches the 5SD normal pink resin?

Btw, I really like the new girl, Eileen, she is a cutie!

 

I've got a old 5star doll with pink skin and it wouldn't be a match for MK, it's more on the peachy side while MK is more like Dream of Doll pink. But again, she's old so she might have yellowed and/or 5star could have changed their pink skin since I bought her.

I wish his neck was longer. I could be just too used to Sooms freakishly long necks, but I feel MK's neck should still be a tad longer.

 

I have been trying to match up a head for a doll leaves body that I have. Dollzone pink is a good match so on that basis I am thinking that MK would match up ok with Doll leaves, but if anyone has that combination I'd love to know how close the two are.

 

Just got my wonderful Mystic kids in today I took home a Miri and Christina. Miri is my second ever SD girl! She's actually taller than my other SD, lol. But wow, she's so beautiful, and I'm glad I chose her. I waited a long time to find the perfect SD, and she is so great. (I do have to say though that her sales picture is a little misleading. Her faceup is a lot less vibrant in real life. (The pink is barely noticeable) However, it works for my girl because I want her to be more natural and soft looking~

Oh, thank you so much I really was nervous about getting another SD, because they are not typically my favorite size. But I love this girl so much. She's more than I could have hoped for! And I did get her from JS But that Miri was going to a girl in Minnesota I think x3 My girl had already been shipped by then.

So, in case anyone is interested, Angell-Studio 1/3 clothes AND shoes fit these dolls perfectly! I got her outfit in today from A-S. She looks so lovely in white! You can't see them, but the shoes really do fit her feet perfectly. The outfit she is wearing in the other picture I posted is also an A-S outfit. They are really good quality! And her double joints make it super easy to get her arms into the clothes xD

I'm amazed by how pretty these dolls are. I need to find a reason to buy one.

@Alaia I have my MK head on a Dikadoll body in pink skin, Dika says their pink is similar to DZ pink. But the Dika body and MK head (both in pink) are quite different. :/ MK is MUCH more pale in colour.

 

I'm sorry it wasn't a great match ;c And yeah, MK normal pink is pretty light in color. I just compared it to my Luts normal skin (Luts is more yellow-ish, lighter) and Fairyland normal skin (FL is darker and more pink)

 

Anyone know if any of these companies are a good match? I want a Lawrence with jointed hands, and want to get it all from Alice's Collection:

Doll Leaves normal skin is darker than my normal skin MK girls. However my Doll Leaves girl was made in 2012, and my MK girls are brand new.

Also, I loved Josephine so much that I went and bought Eileen too :P I don't know what it is, but I just adore these dolls so much. I'm really happy they made me realize that SD's actually are awesome.

I named her Rosemary (This picture also features MK Lillian who I named Vivian). I decided to give her Josephine's old outfit, because I like Josephine better in the white ensemble. Plus, Rosemary seems younger to me than Josephine, and I think the outfit shows that better!



I really hope we start seeing more of these girls (and boys!) around, because they are fabulous in every single way.

I was the person that ordered the MK Miri from Junkyspot that went to Minnesota. I've had her a while now and one of the first things I did was wipe her company face up and give her one of my own.


Here's Jolene my Miri. I love her posing, it's really really good. The only complaint I have is that she likes to fold over in her hips, so I need to suede her. She stands fine, but as soon as I play with her she folds almost always.

 

All the girls are super gorgeous! *envy*

I´ve been pretty undecided choosing between a Miri or a Eileen head for a 5SD body I have, but the new girl, Elisa, stole my heart, she looks pretty similar to Lillian (which I adore too), so I think I´ll be ordering her head in human versión by the next month. ^^

I've named her Caroline. Kind of confusing because there is an MSD Mystic Kids Caroline, but that's just her name.

Here's my Miri named Jolene with her new face up. I need to get her a bigger wig, but I want it to be the same style and color. Unfortunately it only comes in 7 1/4 not 7/8 or 8/9...

Those girls are precious! btw I just received the Miri head and none of the 8-9 wigs fit!!! I didn't know that this head uses 7-8 because the 7-8 wigs I have fit him perfectly.... what a waste of money x_X and now I need to get some 7-8 wigs for him.

 

Yeah... I found that out too when I went looking for wigs for my Miri, though 7.25 wigs are definitely too small!

 

:O Thank you all I am so excited And all of your Miri's are so beautiful! I can't stop looking at them!! I am so glad I read all of this now... I happened to have bought my Miri a red 8-9 wig. So I'll better look for another wig :3 And it won't be that much of a problem because I have some wigs laying around that are 7-8. But still none of them are red, well one has red in it, but is also has other colors in it.

 

I finally gave my Miri head a face up, this is my first face up ever, that's why it looks kind of plain but I plan on fixing it when I get his body. His name is Nathan and he's wearing a 7-8 furwig + 16mm root beer eyes. I love him so far!!
