So my wig for my Zhuozhuo just came in!! It's the perfect color and length so I'm super excited

This is my first purchase ever off Alexipress, and I ended up taking the plunge because no other site had the kind of wig I wanted in the correct color with the right length. I have a very specific kind of image of my doll in mind, so after a good several days of doing nothing but looking for wigs, I glanced at Alexipress and viola! Just what I'd been looking for

Of course, my Zhuozhuo won't be here for another several months ... but I couldn't help but worry if the wig might go out of stock or something if I waited |||OTL At least I'm sorta prepared for when he comes haha;;

 

I'm thinking of getting a pair of 30 cm Doudous to be twins, does anybody know if Littlefee pants fit them?

 

Ohh...that will be fun! I just compared my 27 cm Lorina to my Littlefee and Lorina is a bit larger. I looked at the pictures to compare the 27 cm and 30 cm body and it looks like the 30 cm body is wider in the hips than the 27 cm one, so I'm thinking they may not fit, unless they're quite baggy.

My new Doudou boy came in! I asked for the girl Doudou faceup on him. Sadly he don't have his own outfit yet because he couldn't wear any of my tinies' outfits except this one, which is basically just a stomach wrap LOL! I'll try to make one for him someday! Meanwhile, meet my little boy!

Does anyone have Myou doll in Normal & Yellow skin colors? I'd like to compare the difference between these two from the actual dolls. I just received my Doudou boy in Normal skin color but, I think his skin seems a bit yellowish. In promo pictures and also in their skintone comparison picture, the normal skin seems a lot less yellowish so, I just want to ensure that his skin color really is in normal. (His lips and blushes also different from the promo pics. In promo pics, he has reddish lips and cheeks but, I got the pinkish one. I understand that it can not be 100% the same since it is a handmade but... I don't know, it is just not met my expectation this time T T. Here is my Doudou boy :

 

I don't have any dolls with yellow skin, but my Matcha with normal skin looks more yellowish in comparison to my dolls from other companies. Only two of my little Lati's skin looks more yellowish than Matcha. My Matcha also doesn't look like the promo pics. Her face-up is much more intense. I'm hoping my Doudou girl looks more like the promo pics when I get her. I like the softer look. I think your Doudou boy is quite lovely though. If my girl is painted like that, I would be quite happy with her. I ordered my Doudou in pink skin, so I'm looking forward to seeing how that looks.

Thank you Silvertabby So, I think this one really is their normal skin then. I just hope that it would be a bit less yellow since the normal one in their skin comparison picture looks not yellow at all. About their face-up, I had quite high expectation for them because they did almost 100% perfect job last time I order my MSD 'Arthur' from them. I requested some changes for his eyes and eyebrows, the rest remained the same. The color and position of his face up looks exacly like the promo pic so that's why I wished my Doudou would be like that too TvT;;

The left is my Doudou, Arthur is on the right (He has Normal-Pink skin which I think really beautiful. I should order Doudou in this skin at the first place = =;; )

 

Wow, Arthur is beautiful too. I hadn't even noticed him before when looking at MYOU dolls. I ordered my Matcha from Junkyspot, so didn't have a skin color choice....just has to take what they had. I, too, prefer a more pinky skin and am glad that I ordered Doudou (and Dongdong, as well) with pink skin. I was a little afraid that the normal pink might be a little too pink, but Arthur's skin looks perfect.

 

Their pink skin is very beautiful. You've made the right choice The dealer in my country said that most of the dolls in promo pics have pink skin. I didn't realize it before. I thought that it may be a normal one since they didn't put any info about the doll skin on each page. Anyway, Myou doll surely has many beautiful dolls. I really want many of them

 

I ordered the Sybil boy from Junky Spot. I think he's riding up the Coast in a truck right now! Woot!

I think I might get an Myou doll and use the body for a littlefee head. Would that be feasible?I have both the head back and the faceplate.

I took a picture of a Littlefee next to the 27 cm Myou doll for comparison of size. It looks like her body is a bit larger than the Littlefee so I'm not sure it would work. Her necks seems a bit thicker as well. This Myou doll is white skinned, but the normal skin for Myou is a bit lighter than the Littlefee as well. I'm thinking you might find a better match elsewhere.

Here's Gemini in her new LeekeWorld wig! I switched her eyes out to a pair of DollBakery 14mm eyes in "Melon." They look quite vibrant in her, but I found it rather difficult to position them evenly.



Your Arthur is lovely, @Reiki_Neung! The MYou Normal Skin is a bit yellow, but I have a few dolls in "Normal Skin" that are even more yellow. For example, my Blue Fairy Robin has a very obvious yellow hue to his resin, but I think it works well with him. Although, if I got another MYou doll (I have my eyes on Delia), I'd probably get Coffee Skin or Normal-Pink Skin.

 

is anyone else screaming over the new 1/6 delia?

 

i've been screaming over the 1/4 delia for awhile and then they come out with a 1/6 now and i'm like AHHHH would it be bad to get the 1/6 too...?

 

I really want to get a tiny Myou! Any suggestions for sculps?

 

It really depends on what you're looking for. I have a Lorina, and I think she's gorgeous. Her default faceup is very pretty, with a bit of glitter. However, if you're looking to make a super tough boy, you may want to skip the default faceup or get a different sculpt all together.
All their sculpts are really cute and the quality (from what I've seen) is very good, so if you just pick a sculpt you like the look of, I doubt you'll be disappointed. I can give more details on the 1/6 Lorina if you'd like.

 

I got a Sybil boy, and I'm very pleased with him. His character is a some sort of young magical critter (not sure what yet ) and I'm thought his factory faceup would work for that.

 

Does anyone want to share pictures of their DouDou girl wearing wig and clothes ? I can't choose between her and Lorina

 

My DouDou just arrived! Less than three months from order date to my door and with a faceup! She came with an extra set of hands and beautiful slightly opaque/fantasy eyes. Her arms and legs were carefully wrapped and the protective faceplate was secured well and not off the doll when she came out of her sack. I ordered her from Alice's Collection during their special event but even with the great price her quality is excellent! Now I need to make her something to wear as I don't have anything that suits her sweet serene demeanor!

Does anyone know if they 1/6 heads might fit on the 1/4 Myou bodies? I can't seem to take the plunge on a tiny because the head seems a little bigger than what I prefer for the 1/6 scale.

 

Any 1/6 Myou head on either the Myou 1/4 body or another 1/4 scale body really. I am trying to see if I can put 1/6 Lorina on one of the new Myou 1/4 pear bodies, but since pear body has same sizing in neck as the current 1/4 body, I don't mind seeing if such a hybrid were possible too.

 

Does anyone know whether Myou's normal skin or yellow skin is the best match for Volks NS (or just the standard yellowy NS that a lot of other companies use like Crobidoll, Switch etc)? From some of the owner photos, Myou normal looks pretty yellow, but in the photo in the link it's noticeably lighter than Masketdoll NS (which is quite close to Volks NS).

Resin Comparison

I'm hoping to get the 30cm body to hybrid to go with a Ramcube head in their normal skin, but just can't decide which skin tone to get.

I've asked Myou but they don't have any Volks NS dolls to compare to apparently... Any help from you guys would be much appreciated!

Does anyone have some guide references or images as to what the 30cm dolls can wear?

 

Most YoSD clothes are for 26cm which makes them a little too small in my opinion. MYou has a bigger bum than even the iMda 3.0, so makes the hemlines really short and some won't close around the waist. I just sold a WHOLE bunch of YoSD clothes that did fit were in that category that I felt were to small for both my iMdas and MYou 3.0. I'm also totally thrilled to see the 1/6 Delia! I've been in love with the 1/4 for awhile now, but 1/4's are just a bit big for me. I'm with @dollsoflace though... Something about some of MYou's tinies make their heads look just a bit big for their bodies; I have no idea if it's just how they're photographed or what, though I hope the 1/6 Delia looks fine in person, because I'd love to have her.

 

You can request no glitter for the face-up. They have honored that request for both of my big babies.

 

I loved my Matcha so much I have a 30cm Loretta on the way home now as well. Can't wait to post photos.

 

What a lovely makeup for Doudou! I wish I ordered one with the faceup. Don't know why I didn't. Mine has beautiful eyes but no faceup yet. I ned to hurry up and do it, however I doubt that I can do it well
