I would like to order direct from Myou doll but it appears the event is only for a full doll (outfit, wig etc). Alice offers the event for basic nude doll.

New info: Myou direct offers event for full or nude dolls. I am tempted to give them a try.

 

Guess who finally made his appearance on Christmas day? Woohoo! My Sybil boy!

My husband laughed when I tore into the wrapping paper like a Tasmanian Devil! I have been counting the days until I could finally get my hands on this little fellow!

Since it was Christmas, I immediately put him in an Ugly Christmas sweater. I'm just waiting on his boots to arrive before I dress him in his Doll Heart outfit. (Forgive the quickie snapshot, Christmas morning was hectic!)

Thank you theresa! I was so excited to finally get to play with him! The worse part was knowing that he was in the house someplace and I couldn't lay my hands on him! Oh! the torture! But, now, I've got him and I'm so pleased with him. He's a darling boy!

Yes, waiting was the worse. It was almost worse than waiting for an actual shipping date, because I knew he was already here in the house someplace, and I couldn't have him! UGH! But, it was thrilling to open his box for Christmas. (Now, that's my idea of a Christmas present! ) As soon as I get his new shoes and wig, I will post new pictures! Hello! Does anyone now how Myou normal color skin look like compare with volks normal skin? I really in love with the 30cm boy body. It's so cute!!!

 

I think I'm going to freak out... My Bixuan just shipped! MYOU is the fastest company I have ever bought from, it's so nice being able to get a doll so quickly! I can't wait!

@skyf Thank you! I hope I can buy him soon, too. The price in Taobao shop is very convincing me to buy him. His fullset without body make up is just around $200. I'm so tempted! DouDou in girl version is quite lovely, too. It's a hard decision! I'm thinking about the same thing to wait a little more. Maybe new doll will worth waiting to buy.

Ahh yeah, if I had special requests I would want to do that too. It's a lot harder for communications to brake down when less people are involved. I ordered DouDou in December, so I am a bit biased when I say you have great taste! She is so pretty!

I have been communicating with Myou about face up request. They have been good but you have to email your order and get an invoice.
I prefer knowing my total before hitting the "order" button.

 

Darn! I wish they had re-stocked earlier at JunkySpot. I ended up buying from Fairyland for their Winter event and now I cannot jump on this tempting train. I do hope they bring the tan MYOU dollies to JunkySpot, though. I'm dying to see a little one in tan.

 

Has anyone used E-package for shipping?
I am unfamiliar with it. That is how Myou doll ships.

Yeah... the email order was another reason I picked Alice's Collections... I don't know why, maybe because it's just what I'm used too, but I prefer having an account and going though a shopping cart system.

 

I just ordered direct from myou. They sent a detailed PayPal invoice.
Since I had specific request I thought it best to order direct. I will order from Junkyspot sometime. Emory is great to buy from.

 

Just got my girls out of their Christmas dresses and into warm winter clothes. I may be sending Lorina's head back for a new face up. I will have to pay for it but I will be happier.

My Bixuan showed up, too! Only, I don't really have anything for her to wear yet, as she was an impulse buy. I need to get crackin' and buy her some clothes and a wig!

I have a name for her, at least! I'm going to call her Bernadette; but "Bernie" for short.

I love her face up, and the glass eyes they gave her are very pretty. I also like the color of the normal resin; it's very nice and light.

Hello to everybody! I am watching and enjoying this thread for a while. I would like to ask if someone contacted the company, how the polyurethane of the dolls behaves? Does it yellow? or change the colour in some other way and how fast it happens?

 

@Lino4ka I can't answer your question in the manner that pertains to Myou Dolls, specifically. But, I would like to note that all dolls yellow over time. Most of the yellowing that I've experienced over the years is very subtle.

Honestly I think to a large extent it depends on how the doll is kept. I know different doll companies have different resin, however how quick it yellows often seems to vary a lot depending on how the doll is cared for. For companies that yellow abnormally quickly you normally hear people talking about it, as it's not normal for it to yellow noticeably in a short time frame. So my guess is that MYOU is fairly normal because no one is talking about it. I've only had my doll for about 8 days, so I can't really say.

I have got another question if anybody here has two types of the bodies (I am interested in 27 cm and 30 cm (pear body)). What about their posability?

 

Myou is such a new company that there isn't as much information available as there is for the companies that have been in business for years, but there is a lot of enthusiasm already! They are very well made and I have no complaints about anything with mine

 

Yep, as bajib said MYOU is fairly new, so there isn't much info yet! Still all the feedback I have seen has been wonderful, and I know I love my MYOU doll! I just bought a 30cm DouDou girl in December, so I don't have her yet... however I did just revive my Bixuan on a 27cm body. She is amazing as far as posing goes. She was a tiny bit stiff the first day, but now she poses perfectly and stands like a rock. She is also the first doll I've had that can stand on one foot without much fiddling! Like nancy_schroeder_ca said junkyspot has a great review if you go to the Myou 1/6 section of their site!

For anyone with a 30cm body, I can't seem to tell, is the 30cm body single jointed? I'm more used to single joints (and I'm finding I'm not using them with the 27cm body anyway) so I'm happy either way but I'm super curious. It looks like she must be single jointed but I don't know? Thank you for you time if you know!

Does anyone have an MSDs and a Tiny from Myou? I'm really interested to the idea of having a sibling pair with a significant age difference, and I wanted to see if they look like they're in scale with each other. Can someone do a comparison please?
