MYou tinies discussion

Love all the Ginas here! I fell in love and immediately ordered a fullset when she first came out, and just got a shipping notice today! Lately I find myself more and more in love with the mature tiny dolls. It’s good to know she can share clothes with Tiny Kitty and Azone, hopefully Blythe clothes too. I also have a Maskcat doll Inez who has quite the extensive wardrobe of Blythe clothing. Can’t wait to try stuff on.

 

Wondeful! Another Gina to join in the fun! c: I don't have any Blythe clothes so I couldn't say. As for the Azone, from the few things I have only the skirt fit her and it was a bit short. xD

 

So I bought a Doudou on the 30cm body and omg these hips are massive. I did not expect none of my yosd clothing to fit over his hips. So for now all I have for him is a yakuta. Don't have a name yet but I'm already in love with him.

 

Update: Please excuse the messy shelf but his name is Theodore, or Teddy for short, and some msd buttons fit him!

 

I posted this same request on the mature "1/6" thread, but I might as well post it on here. Anyone who owns an Alan, and any OT fashion doll like a Ken or any other 12" male fashion doll, could take photos of them right next to each other, I would be forever grateful. It would be a huge plus if Alan is white, and also if both dolls were nude, but I do understand if people are shy about posting/taking nude photos. Just the comparisons of them next to each other would be awesome! Thanks in advance! (:

I'm planning on ordering a Delia soon. Hoping to order her before the sale ends but I don't know if I'll be able to swing it that soon. On the bright side I just ordered a Xioaobuding today! The first of triplets I'm shelling. I want another Xiaobuding and Delia for the other two. >u<

 

So I was looking around for tinies for kid characters, since I'm using MSDs as adults since the size works better for my life.

And I found I really love Sibyl (Boy version) and was wondering if anyone has any owner photos?
How close is the sculpt to the girl version?

 

I love the Myou tinies! I will be ordering myself a Nina in tan in the near future I love her pouty expression.

Edit: Just ordered a Nina. I figured I'd get her before the event sale was over.

Tried one of the new Color Reveal Barbie wigs on my girl and it fit.

It's very tight cause of the stiff plastic headcap, but it does fit.

I've also been trying on a bunch of random Barbie and similar doll clothes on her.

Mutation, I think the face-ups for the boy and girl versions of Sibyl makes them look quite different. I got a boy Sibyl in 2016. His photos are posted earlier in this thread:

My Xiaobudding shipped on the 30th but I fear he's going to be stuck in China for a while due to the pandemic. And now I'm waiting for Myou to have a sale again because I have enough for a Delia. If it's going to be a while before their next sale, when it finally comes around again, I may be ordering a Delia and a Nina, both on the 27cm body. >u<

Myou finally announced they're having a sale starting on April 25th! I'm going to be ordering 1-2 more tiniest but my first one is still stuck in China. It's been 3 weeks now. ;o;

 

That's great news, Cap'n. I just ordered a MYou Gina through Alice's Collections on April 13th and I see on their site that she is already marked as 15% off. I would have saved $33.00 if I'd waited, but oh well. I would love to get the male mature tiny, Alan, to go with her.

 

Welp I bit the bullet and ordered two more myou tinies even though the first one has been stuck in China for over 3 weeks now due to the pandemic. Hoping by the time these two are made the shipping delays will be over. I got a Delia and Xiaobudding in coffee on the 27cm bodies. First one I ordered was also a coffee 27cm Xiaobudding. I'm shelling triplets. Got them all blank so I can commission matching faceup for them later at the same time. AC is having an event too so I qualified for a couple of those discounted hamsters.

I can't help but wonder if I accidentally got sent normal-yellow instead of normal-pink skin on my Sibyl that I got a few months ago.
It was my first doll so I didn't notice since I had no reference point- so I'm wondering if I shouldn't order a whole new doll during the sale?

Then again, that would be a lot of wait in these times just to fix a somewhat close skin tone.

 

I honestly can't seen to find any owner pictures of Myou NSY. I'm interested in ordering a body in that color because I have a NSY Charmdoll head but I can't find owner pics of that color compared to other resins. Only NSP or NS. :<

Thank you bunches for these- the more I look and compare the colors and say, the wood floor, the more I'm certain I somehow ended up with yellow resin on my doll, despite ordering pink.

Good news, my Xiaobuding reached the US! He was stuck in China for over a month so I'm hoping he'll come home soon. :>

I might be interested in a 30cm girl or boy by Myoudoll. Does anyone know if they fit into standard YOSD or Littlefee outfits?

Any idea on current waiting times over at Myoudoll?

 

The 30cm body can wear most standard yosd tops but not the bottoms. Dresses can be a little short on them as well. You might get away with some stretchy bottoms but I doubt most would fit. My 30cm Doudou wears msd shorts which are slightly big so I clip the backs tighter on some of them.

And I ordered a Myou tiny just before Valentines Day and it shipped March 30th. He got delayed in China due to the pandemic and is actually set to be delivered tomorrow. So my experience was about a month and a half for one yosd. I just ordered two more on 4/24 but they're still being made.

Can anyone with the 30cm body perhaps tell me whether they find the limited poseability an issue? I'm used to double-jointed dolls and I know the limits of a single-jointed body but I'm not sure how that translates in every day play ^__^;

Little Xiaobuding is so tempting although Doudou, Loretta en Lorina are high up on the list as well. I've been eager to try a white skin doll but their coffee color is gorgeous as well...

I haven't found the limited mobility an issue on my 30cm. The body itself is gorgeous and because of that I let it get away with the less mobility than the 27cm. The 30cm does pose better than you would think, too. My 27cm holds poses pretty well but has a habit of being kicky (might be because he's new though).

And thus far I have a 30cm Doudou in WS and a 27cm Xiaobuding in Coffee. My Doudou has company faceup while my Xiaobuding is blank.
Their white matches Dollzone WS extremely well and is more of a porcelain than a paper white. Coffee is slightly lighter than Luts RSB and has a more orange undertone.

 

@Cap'n Thankies ^__^ great to have such a great source of information. I'm still trying to decide between the bodies. I'm so horrible with choices. I've narrowed down the sculpt I want so now it's just the body and skin color...

 

So I had ordered a yosd set for no particular doll (I just liked it) and was pleasantly surprised that it all fits my 30cm Doudou! Theo got new clothes. :>

 

Theo is such an adorable baby. Such an unique outfit too. I love the little ducky~♡

 

So-o-o I got impatient waiting for my Gina and went looking on The Junky Spot to see what he had in stock. End result is that I've got a 17 cm Dudu on his way to me right now. I can't wait to get him! I've already sewn a couple of tiny things for him and ordered some boy wigs from Facets. If anybody feels like spamming pics of their Dudu that would be greatly appreciated

Unfortunately no DuDu spam from me but I might have a Myou tiny incoming soon if I can finally make up my mind about what I want. Having a limited budget is annoying sometimes.

 

For anyone that was wondering a page or two ago...
I found out what happened and that my Sibyl Boy is actually Normal Skin!

I decided at some point that I should just email the dealer (Junkyspot) and it seems they tend to only one skintone at a time. They used to just do Normal Pink but switched to plain Normal and missed it on website/forms. It can't helped but I'm not too put out by it.

At least I know now that he'd probably go best in White Skin, actually.

 

I guess I have a Myou obsession currently. Their sale is about to end so I went ahead and started a short layaway for the other tiny in my sights. So now I'll be getting a Nina in tan with company faceup.

 

@Hmac58 , Congrats! I recently got a Dudu from Junky Spot too, wasn't really aware of MYou until I saw him while scrolling JS.
I was not disappointed, he's very appealing. I haven't taken too many pics yet, but he's definitely photogenic too.

I just got my first MYou, also from JunkySpot! I really love her but I'm shocked at the 30cm size. She wears a 7/8 wig and has a pear body so finding clothes for her has been interesting. I'm working on pattern making at the moment so hopefully that goes well. I absolutely love how much heft they have to the resin. I'm not 100% sold on the knee jointing but I'm definitely looking at their other sizes as well now, I may have become addicted.

This helps with my impatience to get my boy home. He's in Canadian Customs now so hopefully I'll get him next week.

 

Paid off my Nina early so I officially have 3 Myou tinies in production.

Slim msd shorts tend to fit the pear body (standard msd might be too big). So far I've only ever found one pair of yosd bottoms that actually fit my pear boy. They're high waisted which might be a contributing factor. Also even the 27cm tinies have the big heads. Gotta love those big headed babies. >u<

 

Thank you @Cap'n. I found that some Iplehouse KID sized tops fit and Lati Green clothes are also an okay fit but pants are hit or miss. I do love my pear shaped girl.

 

A new potential family member came home.

She is a preloved Lorina in white skin on a pear-shaped body. I still have no idea why I bought her because her face-up was the stuff of nightmares, she was dirty all over and she cost me more than a new one straight from Myou. On top of that it turns out her custom face-up wasn't properly sealed so there are some blushing spots that might never come off again.

I was planning on a different sculpt in coffee or light tan skin to shell my boy but due to a lot of trouble with another order of mine I didn't have the courage to buy through a dealer or straight from the company again just yet.

To get my mind of things and to see whether I could come to like her I stripped her clean an hour or so after I received her. Meet my little blank head and her squeeky clean body parts.

Despite all my negativity I am glad she's here though, I just need to vent a little and need to stop associating her with the things that've gone wrong so far. Did you know she's my very first white skin doll? I'm pleasantly surprised, it's a beautiful creamy white. I kind of expected a paper white doll.

She does feel very plasticky (if that makes sense) compared to my other dolls. She's also very shiny. I think I'm going to spray her with MSC just to remedy that. Maybe it's a good chance to practise body blushing?

Sorry to see you had problems but I'm glad you're at least liking your girl! Lorina is a cute sculpt (one I have on my wishlist for later). The shiny plastic look I can relate to. I don't know if it's the WS or that particular body, but my WS 30cm boy has the more shiny plastic finish as well. While my coffee 27cm boy is matte.

Sometimes spur of the moment purchases are the best kind! My 30cm Doudou was spur of the moment (secondhand) and he's what started my Myou obsession.

 

I can recommend her ^__^ she is quite cute. I'm a sucker for sculpts with teeth though so don't take my word for it.

Aw, thank you. I thought she was normal skin too at first but the seller showed me the original order and it clearly says white skin. She does look pretty white in real life. I'll try and shoot a photo in better light soon. It's much less pink than Luts Real Skin Normal in any case and I already found that to be a really pale color. It could be there was a mix-up but as she's my only Myou so far I can't really compare, haha~

 

My WS Myou boy is a really nice creamy white as well. It matches Dollzone WS perfectly. I got my WS boy secondhand too, however.
