40–49cm Dolls MYou BoHe - my first human!

She's finally here!! For a while I had the idea that I would only ever have anthro/cat dolls, but MYou dolls are so cute that I've been eyeing them pretty much since I got my first doll. (And yes, I realize that now I'm probably going to have to get her a human companion like I did for my catgirls...)

Anyway, on to the unboxing. I ordered MYou BoHe in coffee skin with faceup from ACBJD, as well as extra hands/feet, and some clothes and eyes from a promotion. Here's the obligatory company box, as well as everything removed from bubblewrap:



And the obligatory mummy shot as well. Interestingly, she has foam on her right arm/leg and just bubblewrap on her left arm/leg. Not sure why but she had no injuries so can't complain!



Revealed her face to.. a LOT of shimmer! I was a little nervous at first about the shimmer, to be honest.



But, turns out indoor warm overhead lights just really amplify the shimmer and in natural/outdoor light, it looks perfectly fine. The faceup is beautiful, by the way! The blue eyeshadow is very subtle (although I would have been fine with brighter, ha) and the pink is all really lively and pretty. Her sculpt is also amazing - some MYou girls look really young, but I think BoHe is a bit more mature. Her eyes are pretty narrow and gives her a subtle Mona Lisa-smile type of expression, I think.



Some amount of fiddling with eyes and wigs later... here is a temporary look! I really like the tones of the hair and eyes, but I think I'm going to have to order a less curly wig (this one is driving me nuts, lol) and smaller iris eyes. These ones are greyish blue with dark purple pupils, but you can't really tell. Any recommendations for where the best place to find smaller iris 14mm eyes? (And probably lower dome...)

On the face shimmer, it’s funny because my first doll (Rin) has none, and my second (Sloane) has some but it’s subtle, probably because she’s a male doll. So I was really surprised by the amount of shimmer now Maybe the trend will swing back around to none at some point.

Thank you!! The posing is really really good. She could stand on her own right out of the box, but can also hold subtle/"in between" angles on her legs. I still need to experiment more with posing but I'm really impressed by the MYou body so far!
