Hello everyone !
I was wondering if someone had a Zimo doll (tanned will be so perfect !) and some photos to share ? I'm interested into this doll and I'm wondering what people did with this head.

 

Are here any Verna owners with pics to share yet? I am curious about her.
she looks older than Delia and I can't tell if it is the sculpt or how she is styled at site. And, is there a thread for the large Myous? I've looked and can't find it and wondered about their new SD girl. She looks like she might look OK with Nianer

I want to see photos of people with other resin tones. I have the tan and its way different then the company photos (thankfully.)

 

Question. I'm still waiting for my Delia but I got her in Tan. Is she a more creamy color or does she go more reddish? Also, were there sanding, seams or discoloration on your doll?

 

I also still wait for my Delia in Normal skin and Alissa in Tan, I'm still have about 60days to wait. Anyone interested if I make some unboxing video later? All of the girls will come without face up, so you can see how the doll looks like without company face up.

Hi! I can send you photos of her tan compared to fairyland tan skin. She's def a deep tan. I don't find her red. In natural lighting she has more of a yellow undertone. She's a deep tan compared to fl tan. I personally don't see any red undertones. She has 0 discoloration and she has absolutely NO seam lines it was lovely to see! She did have some "resin dust" on the inside of her head which is normal / common with some dolls but nothing to worry about.

Hi! I have a Zimo (in NS cuz that's all that was offered from the Junky Spot) and I absolutely love him. He does have great posing, his resin is smooth and really nice, and he's just adorable. I hope this helps!

Doing a bit of research... Has anyone been able to compare MYOU pink with DIM or Loongsoul pink? I'm body shopping for my Larinas and the MYOU body has pretty much the perfect proportions.

Just an FYI. I just got notification from Alice's Collections that my doll is being shipped this week. She was one ordered in December so if anyone is looking for their dolls, they may get some kind of notification this week of shipment.

I officially have enough money to order both my dolls but I can't spend it because I might need it for rent when I graduate :/

As a student who may or may not ever graduate, I feel your pain. Could you bear to only order one and split the difference? Maybe order the other a little later on?

 

Whether or not I need the rent money is dependent on what I decide I'm going to do in the immediate future, which jeez, idk. I'd really rather order both at once if I can, because my thinking was I'd enjoy them more if they had someone to interact with. Idk. I need to figure out what I'm doing 6 weeks from now.

 

Has anyone bought Luts kid delf or baby delf clothes for a Myou 1/4 girl with a small bust? Even though I ordered Delia's outfit, I'm thinking of buying more clothes for Delia when she arrives. I think these clothes will fit, at least according to the measurements online.

 

I have some ForMyDoll wigs. I will check the sizes and try on my Delia. They are not elastic.
Myou dolls are tall and slim. I have Rosenlied Holiday outfits that fit but some are too big. I will take photos tomorrow.

 

I have my Delia dressed in a standard MSD size outfit from Sadol and it fits her perfectly! She's waiting for me to take her picture!

If you'd rather sew for her, I discovered that if you get a sewing pattern from Burdastyle, print at 25% and cut out the smallest size from the print at home pattern...it fits my Delia's measurements with a small bust just great. No major alterations needed. The pattern didn't have the best instructions, but it was pretty clear how the pieces went together from the illustration on their webpage--I used a peplum tunic pattern that's on sale this month.

 

Would love to see more MYOU girls. Especially if anyone has a Bohe around. Does anyone here happen to have a Minifee in their collection too? I've been curious to see how Myou girls (or boys) would look next to Minifees.

 

There's someone with a gorgeous BoHe on tumblr, but I can't find them now, sorry D: I'm hoping to scrape enough funds together to order BoHe during this sale period, I'm so in love with her face.

I've got a veritable horde of minifee (but no Moe girls) I could take some photos for you, but it would have to wait until the day after tomorrow, since I'm gonna be busy graduating tomorrow *yay* I can include moe boy, aline boy, aline girl and fairyline girl, along with my Ailsa girl (and hey, if there's any other comparisons you'd like to see, let me know and I can see if I've got anyone in the horde who suits)

@Allie27 my girl has the small bust and from memory the Luts dress I had couldn't quite do up at the back because she was a bit wider around the chest. Luts girls are a lot smaller than Myou girls too, here's a comparison I did from a little while back.

I know MYOU has released a lot of new sculpts since I last checked in so I do humbly request some pictures of people's dolls if they'd like to share.

 

I would really appreciate any comparisons you could take! My bestie has fallen in love with Myou dolls and I have been eyeing a 1/4 sculpt (and I'm also in love with Lorina in the 1/6 scale) for awhile, but mostly I'm worried they won't fit with Minifees... since I'm going to end up having five MNF by the end of the year.

 

Sadly I only had time for the minifees before I had to head off, but here they are!
From left to right we have:
A-Line Boy
Fairyline Girl (with bunny paws and slightly further back because she didn't want to co-operate)
Myou Ailsa
Moe Boy
A-Line Girl



I actually really like the way she looks with the minifees, she's got a slightly larger head, but she's also a far amount taller, so it works. The tan one is actually her BFF and shelf buddy

 

I just wondering will MYOU make the extra hands part for their 1/4 BJD too? because the big baby line and their 1/6 BJD have extra hands part...

There is a tiny bit of stretch but not much. I can get the 6/7 on. It is snug but works. The 7/8 fits fine.

6/7 and it's a little hard to get on. The wig caps are plenty stretchy but 7/8 might be easier.

 

After looking at Hyperion's photos, I'll probably make a hybrid from a myou body and luts head, at some point instead of buying luts clothes. Thank you for the comparison.

I'll check out Burdastyle for patterns. Thank you for the tip. I bought some 18 inch doll clothes patterns from McCall’s so I could learn to sew for the doll but, they are too big.

 

Yeah, resizing human patterns is easier than resizing 18" doll patterns for sure! The proportions are much closer to being correct, 18" dolls have similar figures to flour sacks on the whole. The epatterns just make it easier to resize the lot when you go to print

I do not have Kid or Baby Delf but I have Rosenlied Holiday (chubby MSD). This dress is from Rosenlied Holiday and fits nicely on Bohe. It is a little shorter but works.

 

That's good to know, Thank you. I'll probably buy some clothes from Rosenlied then. Rosenlied has a lot of old-fashioned dresses that are similiar to the luts ones I was looking at. Your doll looks pretty. Where did you get the socks?
