What beauties! It's interesting to see the Soony styled in a way that's more in line with current trends in the BJD world vs. how they were often painted/wigged back when they were new. (Unless that's her original faceup, in which case disregard! )
I bought her head second hand but I think I'll be keeping the faceup since it matches with the one I had commissioned for my Juri05. My goal as a creator to show that the sculpt underneath can be used to depict any style even if it is not in line with traditional BJD looks. I like mixing the cartoony features of these sculpts with realism, which is also why I choose to use very realistic eyes that are not typically seen on these sculpts.
