Hello, my name is Marianne, and this girl named Noelle. View attachment 655 View attachment 656 This is my second doll, and I work on it for a long time but still not very happy with the results. I was most confused by the shoulders. The meingoal was to make a flexible girl with a sufficient stability. She stands alone. Dolls have not sanded as I'm still working on the plasticity of her body. It has an extra removable face plate, and 29 of hinge joints. Parallel I do for her man, his name is Raziel( Rei). View attachment 657 This portrait head is made based on the pictures of Ben Barnes. For this head will also be additional faceplate with a smile, the growth will be about 45 cm. I hope soon to complete a master model, and make the first cast. Hope for your help and I will be glad to criticue of my work. I apologize in advance for my English=)
Hello! I'm sorry but I can't see any pictures D; can you repost them some other way? I'd love to see what you're working on!
Oh my God, I'm probably not properly uploaded photos. Thank you said. I rebooted photos, I hope they will be now visible. I want to show my "pocket gnome", which I started doing in between working on large dolls. I decided not to create a separate topic on the forum, because there is no point. She is 12-13 cm tall made from Ladoll , hands I think I'm going to adjust, I don't really like. Unfortunately, Ladoll is a very fragile materialand and with bake plastic I did not work, so can't make a thinner handle. View attachment 658 and the second face for my girls View attachment 659 and since it has a completely different character then I also gave her the name Teresa, because she was very similar to a character from the anime Claymore
Noelle looks amazing, that body is so posable! I'd love to see her standing up, I'm curious about her hips! What materials are you using for her? And the faces all look so good too! I've watched Claymore, brings me memories ^^
this is Fimo Air Basic (normal tone)and Fimo Air Efaplast( terracota).I ended light-colored material and I took terracotta so it's a little marble. It is too brittle for a game doll, but quite suitable for mm. I'm only afraid of her fingers, they always want to break. Put it on the feet. View attachment 662 View attachment 661 View attachment 660 in this photo left knee has changed, visually it seems to me looks better, but right leg is still not fixed and she didn't want to stand exactly .At the same time check the stability by relying on one knee. I think when you have finished the body, then we can turn the focus of "standing on one leg" The feet are not quite ready, so sometimes I have to persuade her to stand. Now I modify her knees to increase the stability of the legs and at the same time will detail. I think I redid the slits in the thighs, hide them.
In the last step of grinding the surface, I changed the torso D: I hope not become worse... View attachment 718
The year I spent to come to this result, but I think it was worth it. Finally I am satisfied with all three faces, nothing more I will not change. At least I improved my skills in modeling. Now I have only to smoothen the surface and then I can begin priming. View attachment 723 and i changed the body and started polishing, I think I will finish this girl for Christmas:3
I sanded almost half of the body, noticed the asymmetry of the nose and ears. They must be corrected before it is too late. Time to work is almost there, as I move to another apartment , but hopefully I will soon begin to Prime the parts. During the sanding, I worked the muscles and changed the proportions to more realistic. Now she can stand even so All the lines I smoothed, so she won't be too relief.
Wow, great work. You seem to hav mastered balance, and the joints fit well with the body shape so they don't look out of place. ^_^
