While i'm waiting for my first BJD to get back from a painter in the US i also started on a second. Basically i'm hoping to use all i learned sofar from my own experience and learning about BJD in general to help me on this one This time a figure i thought of myself. She's an aquatic alien evolved out of the icey waters from the moon Europa. Close to finishing up the modeling phase of things. Already hollow and double sided i'm just giving the joints and stuff like wall thickness and rotations some extra thought before i do the last bits. So would love to hear feedback or tips if you have any (now its still easy to change stuff
WOW!!!! She is amazing! Unlike anything I've ever seen, very innovative! How tall is she going to be?
Nice!! love the design. Those legs look really hard to balance. How are you going to test that out? is it possible just with the 3d rendering?
Not yet 100% sure about the size. Think i go for about 50-55 cm. Yeah i guess getting the legs right will be difficult. Can rotate them in 3D and see how that works out but thats about it. Just try and print them i guess
I hope you can make those legs work, because they look amazing! ♥ Can't wait to see what she looks like printed out. I love original and unique ideas with dolls, so I look forward to seeing the progress of this one. An amazing concept and looking so good already!
