My second attempt at a doll :)

    1. So, years ao i tried to make a doll and i used sculpty, i didnt like the medium i felt after sanding forever i didnt get anywhere :(! So this time i am using paperclay :D!!

      This has been a very slow process. I been lucky to get 1 or 2 hours a day to work at it as I am a stay at home mom of 2 under 2! (23 months and 2 months)

      So when i intially started all i had was DAS paperclay. Then yesterday I went and got a x-acto knife. We have NO craft store here and our walmart sells nothing :(! So i am waiting for my order of LaDoll and carving tools which should hopefully be here monday or tuesday...

    2. to be honest, I don't like sculpey either. Though I bought in bulk thinking to save, but now I still have lots left. Now I use oil clay.

      I like the profile of the torso, but in the forward shot, the breasts look too straight. Normally, one breast should look to the left and one to the right (compare with your girl in the striped socks in down-the-cleavage shot).

      The little belly bump is adorable.

    3. last night i scraped the boobs off xD they were bugging me even though i needed to redo them :s! Ya sculpey was just....eh :\ i like the easy additive/subtractive-ness of the paperclay, tho i am excited to see what LaDoll is like, I am very disappointed! I ordered La Doll off dollmore and apparently my address didnt go in right and they email me about the address and i only just saw the email :(! siiigh i was expecting the clay tomorrow 8(!! Now i wont prolly get it till friday :(

    4. I can't find anymore posts in this thread. meohmymomo, did you ever continue working on this BJD? I was really enjoying your posts. I am just beginning my first BJD and am using LaDoll.
