Body Comparison My search for the perfect boy body

The closest I can think of is the Luts Senior Delf Muse body, which is at the top end of your preferred size, and doesn't have quite the same muscle definition.

Unfortunately, the 60-65cm male doll size is no longer a popular size, so companies aren't making new dolls in that size or updating old ones.

 

Oh, I know the struggle!! I'm in the same boat as you, I absolutely love that style of body (the vings bodies and dollzone 70cm are perfection~) I really didn't want to go bigger then 65cm but there really is nothing in the 60-65cm range... I've since relented and plan to go into the 70cm+ range for future dolls just to have some options

If it helps any I ended up getting a doll family h 65cm body and I really like it, it's not as thin or delicate as the ideal bodies but it's not too muscular and has a good waist to shoulder ratio, I feel like the official photos just aren't the best at showing it off. It looks like they also have a similar 62cm body as well!

 

I believe the height you want tend to be teen builds. Although I have seen a few companies release scaled down versions of their large dolls.
I like using legenddoll and browsing through all the companies they partner with. You can filter by bodies and heights.

 

Yeah 60-65cm boys aren't popular and so that type of body isn't really being made in that particular range, much less clothing. However, I do believe you might be more successful with 68cm boy bodies, Dika doll has a wider shouldered one BJD 68cm Male Body 2 Ver. Dollzone has that in the 60cm range...

I don’t know if they’ll bring it back, but Migidoll Exa Omega has a slender look and his in the 60cm range.
I also put my vote in for the Luts Muse body. I have both these bodies for my boy dolls, as I didn’t want anything taller or too muscular.

Random question though for these size boys. Would these size boys fit in SD16girl pants? The Migidoll body I have has a hip measurement of 26.5cm (I think muse is about the same). It’s hard to find clothes any more for their size.

 

@krystina It will probably depend on which one and how fitted the SD16 girl pants are. The Muse body might be able to fit in some. The Exa Omega body most likely not, as it's waist is 2cm thicker then the SD16 girls.

The waist-to-shoulder ratio isn't quite what I think you're probably looking for, but the Evantasy 61cm body is an excellent option if you're just looking for a slender ~60cm guy! I love mine, very cute and poses excellently. Definitely one of my favorite SD+ size bodies I've ever owned.

 

On the question of SD16 girl pants fitting boys in the 60-65 range, I would not recommend trying SD16 girl pants as the SD16 girl body has a very narrow waist that's closer to DD size waists (idealised anime proportions) than even other girl bodies around the same size. Boy waists would be an absolute no-go!

As people have said upthread, unfortunately 60-65cm boys are not trending at the moment, which means less bodies being sculpted and less clothing options available.
Most of the body development, particularly of the kind OP is after, is in the 70-75cm range, or the "tall mini"/"special mini" 45-50cm sized down versions of those 70-75cm bodies.

 

Granado has at least one in the 65cm range. I bought a crowdfunded 65Fortis, which I can't find on their website right now, but if you like the aesthetic, you can email them.

 

Migidoll Exa Omega was limited or can still be bought? Cause I really like this body and didn't know where to find it.

 

I’m not quite sure, you can post a question in their website. I asked last year if they plan to release more hands, or if I can get another set of hands and if they would release the heeled legs separately for that body. Back then they said they plan too but I haven’t heard/seen anything. I really love the way the hands are sculpted- such long nails! If you look at my dolls, Ogma, you can see what I mean.

 

Hi. I was looking for exactly the same thing as you, the new Dollzone line in 60cm, only in a female version, and what I did was ask Dollzone directly.

They responded that, at the moment, they don't plan to release any female bodies around 60cm. I suppose the same answer can be applied to male bodies.

In the end, I chose Coralreef. I think Coralreef's aesthetic is similar to Dollzone's.

Unfortunately, Coralreef doesn't currently have any 60cm male bodies, but you could keep an eye out in case they release a male version of their 62cm female body, or check out their 67cm body to see if that's a good fit for you.

 

Maybe you could also check out the Spirit BJD doll, 65cm Grace, male body. It's the closest I've found to the bodies we like at around 60cm.

By the way, I also wanted a male body like the one you're looking for, but luckily the 50cm size suited me, so I bought the Dollzone B45-021 for an 18cm head.

 

A little heads up that the Spiritdoll Grace body is shorter than advertised – a friend bought one, and it's closer to 62cm with a head than the 65cm it's described as. The rest of the measurements listed on Taobao and Legenddoll seem to be accurate.

 

PW releases their different sizes on a calendar! Usually they release their SD sized dolls for a Halloween event in October, so it will be available soon!

 

Completely slipped my mind, but check out the Switch Labyrinth body. Like the Muse body it's a neuter body.
