    2. Are there other SD bodies besides Volks that are compatible? I don't have any of the taller ones so I would have to purchase a separate body and would like recommendations.

      If you're making MSD size head sculpts in the future I'm wondering whether to wait it out... Dilemma... I really really like your sculpts.

    4. Thanks :) glad you like my sculpts.
      She will probably go on any SD size body as the heads is about "average" size compared to other company heads. I will cast white skin, normal skin and a light normal skin so she will be an OK match for a variety of bodies.

    23. I think she will fit on any SD size body .. but I don't have and have never seen DOT resin so don't know if I could match it.

    30. Wow!! She is so cute and when I saw the profile (first page photo) I thought she has the exact same profile as my daughter's friend (Greta) who lives down the road from my office!! Greta's nose is not as cute, but she does that with her lower lip just like your doll - so I think...... I need one too!

      Did I read right that she would fit on a SD body?

    35. Pepper's so cute! She reminds me a bit of the little kids who pop up from behind things and make a really adorable face. :) The face Pepper's making actually shares a resemblance to the one I used to make when I was little. Ah, nostalgia.

    38. Sorry to be slow with her. I am trying to decide what to do with her!! I'm not happy with her mouth/chin area and her face is a bit lopsided so I'm trying to decide if I should scrap this head and make corrections and resculpt the mouth/chin area and make a new mold of the "improved" version. Or maybe just cast an edition of about 10 of her from the mold I've already made (so those who like her as she is can still buy her) and then correct the lopsidedness (is that a word!?) and resculpt her mouth/chin area and remold and cast her as a slightly different head.
      What do you all think?

    47. If a face sculpt is too even - ie not lopsided it loses its attraction. The human face is not symmetrical and that is what makes it so attractive. This is something I learned from some very popular doll artists.

      So I think your doll is so adorable because of her "imperfections" - her lopsidedness (not that it looks so to me) and her chin / mouth area - are what make her so special and unique.

      Personally I think you should leave her - I am already trying to convince myself that the next BJD will be an SD and have your Pepper head!!!! BUT I have got to save first!

    51. I will start casting in the new year. We have had so much rain and humidity lately that I can't make molds or cast so have to wait for the weather to improve .. very frustrating!!
