My New Doll (2014)

I didn't want to post a pic of Tielo until he had his proper wig. He's definitely one of my grail dolls, down to the Beauty Green of his resin.

How was he or she packed? Very well! Tielo had the standard two pillows and was completely bubblewrapped with a face protector to protect his super-long eyelashes.
What did his or her box look like? The outer box was a Ringdoll box. and was papered and taped completely all over the outside. The blue Luts Delf inside box came was safe and sound.
What did he or she come with? A beautiful faceup that I suspect is the factory one, but I'm not sure.

What did his or her box look like? How the Minifée boxes are usually, except the box cover was golden, and the rest of the box was purple.
What did he or she come with? Grey acrylic eyes, and a Pukifée Juri 2014 faceplate.

How was he or she packed? Perfectly wedged catty-corner in a small box, bracketed by well-padded accessories. Nothing loose.
What did his or her box look like? A petite red "pukipuki" box with iridescent printing, which opens like a book.
What did he or she come with? A body pillow in which he traveled, taking up half the space, the other half filled with a black box containing the full-set items (hat, shoes, wings, trousers), plus all of the accessories I bought for him (accessory hands, shoe-feet, a pukisha faceplate, hands, feet set), and a set of event wings for my littlefee.

Thanks to attending Dollism Plus US, I ended up bringing home two dolls in 2014, causing my family to grow quicker than expected ^^' Figure it's about time I archive them here, before the new year begins...

How was he or she packed? In her red Fairyland book-box, surrounded by black padding and with a top layer of bubble-wrap. Printed care instructions included.
What did his or her box look like? Excellent condition
What did he or she come with? Strung, default face-up with eyes, cat hand/feet paws (magic items), leggings and extra magnets. She also originally had a wig available, but I wasn't happy with the fit so the seller kept it and lowered the price instead


This was the first photo I took of Zoe (other than for her stowaway photo-story shoot) using one of the lovely sets (and my favourite) that they had available to choose from. She's wearing a quick top I made from one of Willow's hair ribbons to go along with her leggings, luckily she looked cute without a wig XD

How was he or she packed? Placed inside a cardboard carton that slid out of the brown outer Maskcat box, carefully secured/taped up in bubble-wrap and placed between two pillows. Birth certificate and business card included.
What did his or her box look like? New condition
What did he or she come with? Strung, nude


This was the first photo I took of Maya shortly after the contest was over, again putting to use another one of their amazing sets. I managed to win her a pair of eyes from a raffle draw donated by Captured In Glass and purchase her a temporary outfit with hood from Pinknoyume via Mint On Card to prevent nakedness/baldness

 

YAY!! My very first BJD finally arrived, after slightly more than three months of waiting. He's gorgeous! (Or should I say really pretty?)

I'm really, really bad at taking photos, so it didn't turn out too well But here he is~



He's pretty stable and poses pretty well (those knees!), considering he's standing without a doll stand, and I'm just bursting with pride It's pretty hard to find clothes for him though; he's pretty buff for a 1/3 doll T_T

How was he/she packed? In his default box, tucked into several layers of Styrofoam(?) and bubble wrapping around the limbs/head.
What did his/her box look like? It's a royal purple coloured box that came in a long rectangular packing box with the company's name on the side.
What did he/she come with? I got the full set, so he came with Ringdoll's RT3 sunshine body, default face-up, clothes, shoes, eyes and wig. Plus an extra sailor uniform and shoes (it was a free gift during one of the company's promotional periods), the plastic authenticity card/certificate, and a Ringdoll booklet.

What did he or she come with? Blank head, official Luts certificate. I bought him to practice face-ups on and have him on an old Luts cloth body, but I love his sculpt so much I think I'll have to buy him a body eventually!

What did he or she come with? Have a set of Shinsengumi clothes and shoes, one pair of gray eyes, a black long-haired wig, and some instructions book. Specifically he has non-slip mats in each joint.

How was he or she packed? He was packed with care, he had plastic around most movable body party, and a plastic mask over his face up.
What did his or her box look like? The plain brown cardboard box arrived, but inside was a beautiful black box with gold writing. In that he was swaddled in a gold pillow.
What did he or she come with? A certificate, blue eyes, and a face up that was free, because they only were able to send one with a face up, but charged me for the basic doll. He also came with some doll toys, a blanket, and tattoos and such.

What did his or her box look like? Silver-grey, with a gold foil design imprinted on the top
What did he or she come with? He was ordered through Alice's Collections, so he came with a strip of eye putty and a magic eraser block, as well as a pair of underwear and a neck donut.

How was he or she packed? The LTF came tucked into a sturdy "storybook" styled box, with foam cutouts to hold the body and accessories steady. His extra faceplate was tucked into the separate section, in a plastic bag. The MNF head was tucked into a plain box of event pieces, and wrapped in a plastic bag.
What did his or her box look like? The LTF box is blue, with a foil embossing on the front. The lid is hinged with a magnetic flap, and the box is styled to look like a large storybook. The event pieces box is plain brown, with a hinged lid that tucks in.
What did he or she come with? The LTF came with a pair of random eyes (free), an extra sleeping faceplate (purchased), and a pair of "boxing glove" hand parts (event). The MNF head did not come with any extra parts, being an event item.

How was he or she packed? She was tucked into a padded drawstring bag, then wrapped in a plastic bag, then wrapped very well in bubble wrap; her closed "cat" hands were the ones she was shipped wearing, to minimize the chances of broken fingers in transit. She was really quite securely shipped!
What did his or her box look like? Her box was a plain brown kraft-color box, with black printing and the SpiritDoll logo on top. The lid is hinged and folds down into the lower half of the box.
What did he or she come with? She included a CoA, a set of free glass eyes, and an additional pair of open hands (she arrived wearing closed hands).

How was he or she packed? Very nicely; her body was wrapped in bubble wrap separate from her arms, then everything was wrapped a second time, with a face mask over her face (even though she arrived blank). The thick roll of bubble wrap was tucked inside a white satin pillow inside her box.
What did his or her box look like? Sturdy, black, two-piece construction with a large white and tan label with the Little Monica logo on top.
What did he or she come with? Postcards, a Certificate of Authenticity, random eyes and eye putty, a tiny teddy bear, and some pieces of candy (from the dealer).
