Personality: He wont bat an eye at making a girl cry. The kind of guy who'd simply brush it off as nothing and go on about his business...that doesn't mean he doesn't feel guilt...he simply isn't aware of it. On days such as that he'd find someone unappealing and hand himself over to them subconsciously punshing himself for hurting someone else. Not particularly hot headed, but if you get him angry he goes all out...has landed people in the hospital before.
History: Born into a middle class family river was average as they come. And while he tried his hardest in school growing up he could never seem to do better than high Cs or Low Bs for grades. That didn't stop his parents from expecting more, constantly pushing him, driving him, putting their unreachable hopes into him to a point that he grew to loathe it. To make matters worse there was really no love between his mother and father. Constantly fighting they stayed together because they believed divorce wasn't an option. As a result their constant fights and bickering were taken out on him.

One day he simply just stopped caring or trying, coping with his life situation by acting like it meant nothing. he began cutting classes, dying his hair, drinking...at 15 his parents gave up home on him...their delinquent son and put all their hope into his younger brother Sky.

While river technically lives at home he is rarely there...spending most nights with sex friend's he has made...preferring the idea of giving his body away indiscriminately over living in the same house as his parents. His only regret is leavin Sky behind to live in that dark atmosphere.

Personality: Mysterious, dark, irritable, and very intense. He rather keep to himself intead of divulge anything to anyone. He's usually quiet, detatched and unemotional. These are traits he acquired from growing up with his unfortunate childhood. The people closest to him (mainly his sister) know that Jared has become like this to avoid being hurt by others. Nadine constantly urges him to release his negative energies and grudges, to become the man she knows he has buried inside. When he's inspired (either by music, a thought, book, animal etc.), he becomes curious and driven by his urge to learn more about the subject. He tends to focus only on that specific thing until he's moved on to another.
Jared is quick to get lost in whatever it is that he's doing, even at work. He gets lost in his thoughts and feelings which makes him appear distant. He has no care for being optimistic like his sister. Jared rather focus on the crude reality of life and force himself to except the cards he was dealt. He never lets himself believe that anything good can come out his life, and therefore is very bitter. ​

Background: Jared grew up with what you would call a dysfunctional family. He lived on a reserve in Vancouver, Canada with his two parents and older sister, Nadine. As he matured, things only got worse between his parents, and they were always fighting about anything and everything. Jared's father hadn't any respect for his mother and brushed her off to go places and do things (no doubt with other women) without telling her. Nadine would often look after Jared when things went bad (being 9 years older than him, she acted very motherly). Their quarrels began to cause Jared to behave badly in school. He began starting fights and even got kicked out in order to do community service at a local soup kitchen.
Everything came to an end when the two siblings had been told that their mother was murdered. There was an investigation that took place, only to find out that it was their own father who had committed the crime. Mr. Takoda was sentenced into prison, leaving Jared and Nadine to care for themselves. Jared was 14 at the time, and Nadine (23) had her own job. Nadine was able to get an affordable apartment for the two of them to live.
Everything took a big tole on Jared; he began to shut himself out from the world, and even dropped out of school. He kept to himself and turned very bitter. He started noticing that when he would get overly angry or excited, his body would heat up and spontaneously catch fire. This obviously posed a problem, and Nadine was the only one whom Jared told. He thought of himself as a freak and tried suppressing his emotions to control the flame.
Jared got his own job when he turned 16 to help support Nadine and contribute to the rent. He works at an animal shelter not too far from where they live, and takes care of the animals there (mostly dogs and cats). It was at this age that he met his very loyal companion, a Siberian husky whom he name Nanook.

Vision is a rare psychic called a "Hand of Sorrow" - he is irresistably compelled to protect others, and it causes him devastating pain to cause anyone harm. He has had an awful, awful life, from an abusive childhood to murder to prostitution. He would have probably died young (as Hands of Sorrow often do), but he was "picked up" by a Fallen angel named Lucifer when he was 18. Lucifer's cold and peaceful mind is like heaven for Vision, who clings to the Fallen with everything he has. To assure he could stay by his side, Vision entered the dreaded contract - his soul for Lucifer's companionship. Vis does not value his soul in the least, and truly believes that rather than not knowing what will happen to it at the end of his life, he wants it to belong to the person he loves. Lu is impressed with not only the fact that Vision has survived his fate for as long as he has, but also that he sold his soul for nothing more than love - his love, at that.

Blue Finster is 17 and a very accomplished dancer - and somewhat insane... really, it's just because there is a semi-evil dragon inside his head. Blue is kind and painfully shy - but oftentimes, he seems to teeter on the edge of madness, questioning everything, everyone, himself, even reality. He's pretty much useless when that happens, in a varying mix of a catatonic state, sleepwalking, crying fits, and thinking he can fly.

Blue is the adopted son of Lucifer And Vision... more precisely, Lu just picked a little boy up somewhere because he picked up a "I need something to take care of because I'm starting to feel guilty again about not being able to save my little sister" vibe from Vis. It's probably better not to ask how exactly he came by this little boy. >.> But Vis is a loving father, albeit their family can't exactly be called "normal".

The symbols on his forehead are hebrew for "Beloved" (the masculine form). When Lucifer "found" him, the mark appeared - more or less purposeful magic on Lu's part. Basically he stamped the boy as belonging to Vision and fulfilling that role in his life. (FYI, Lucifer has the hebrew word for "tainted" on his cheek).

Background: Chrome works as a shop staff at his friend's Gothic&Lolita shop in Harajuku called "MonolithiA" and he also models for its clothes when his friend needs one and even designing clothes for it. He became a popular lolita model almost instantly due to his androgynous face and physique and other brands gave him offers to model for them, but because of his loyalty to his friend, he declined to them. On his 2nd year on the job, he found love in a girl who's a new customer in their shop but it turns out that his friend also likes this girl and he is planning to confess.

Personality: He likes meeting new people, although he's a bit shy at first. He has this quality that attracts others so he's quick at making new friends. A weird thing about him though is that he is a very colorful person, but prefers to wear dark clothing. He's a Yakuza heir, under his Uncle who raised him. He was raised in a manner that had the intent of him being special ops of some sort, as well as in a very traditional manner. He is well trained in several forms of martial arts, as well as more feminine things like ikebana, chado, and musical entertainment, somewhat like an old time geisha (they were originally men).
Because of his gentle appearance and smaller size, he often has to make examples of people before he's taken seriously by newcomers in the group, or soldiers who seem to often forget that he can kick their a$$es with ease.
He's a good businessman, and generally good at calming firey people down, with or without force.
He does believe in magic and non humans, although he's still young and hasn't had to deal one on one with many yet.
His most trusted friend/on and off lover at the moment is one of his associates in crime, Tristin (one of my Shiwoos)
Another thing to note about him is that unlike many other yakuza, he does not have any tattoos as of yet, it's all part of the special ops plan, stuff like that is a dead giveaway.

Background: At the age of 2, his mother died of a drug overdose. His father wasn't much of a man either and left Astor to his younger sister, who was in College at the time trying to become a sergeon. Because Astor was in her life, his aunt Caroline wound up changing her direction and becomming a nurse. At the age of 13, a combination of bad behavior and involvement in drugs got him in trouble with the school, where he was recommended for therapy. This cause CPS to come and threaten Caroline that she'd loose custody. The effects on Caroline was the start of Astor's trasformation. He kept his anger inside and his 'bad' habbits under a rug beneath a rock. After a traumatizing experience in a treatment center, he comes out with a plan to be the perfect 'son' to Caroline, secretly feeling that the reason his parents (whom he knows very little about) left him to her was in-fact because he wasn't a good son. Wasn't worth it.
He matures greatly in a short couple of years, though the bad habbits such as smoking and drugs persist in his bouts of secret depression. At the age of 16 they move to a new town to start over. Caroline still works her ass off to keep the small house they live in. Astor secretly makes money by selling drugs. In his senior year (18yr old becuase he missed a year for therapy), he meets Jacey Song. A new transformation between the two of them begins in that year. ​
