50–65cm Dolls My first Volks FCS

For some time i have wanted to get a FCS but it was not until a couple of months ago that i finally took the leap and got myself a F-90, whom made her gracious arrival last week. I was surprised at how quick she made it home, since the waiting time it's supposed to be 3 months but she was ordered on June 17 and was delivered on august 24 to my proxy.

I pondered about getting the Ever Beauty option but i chose instead the regular pureskin option this time, i wanted to get a different custom makeup for this sculpt than the ones offered, though in the future i would like to get a Ever Beauty option because the idea of a resin doll that doesn't yellow seems so appealing. Going through all the sculpts in the menu to choose one is hard because they are all so pretty and there are so many!



The order was from the Sato Store since i got a sunlight skin doll, which is only offered there.



Everything was so well packed, I got 2 extra wigs and 2 extra hands for a total of 3 pairs, according to my proxy you can only get a total of 3 pairs of hands per order, which leaves me wondering how to get eventually some other pairs in sunlight since they are neither offered on volks usa nor Volks International websites.



I requested to have the satogaeri option for sanding body and hands since i didn't want to deal with the sanding myself, and it feels so soft, though i don't know how visible are casting lines in volks dolls when they are non-sanded, but i would think it's not too bad, i also asked to have not glued eyes on the doll because it's a bit tricky to put out the glue, also since i like to pose a lot my dolls for pictures, I constantly switch the eyes position, so it's more convenient to me.



When you order custom make up option you get to choose two pair of eyes, i chose similar colors because i had in mind to give her heterochromia but i ended up liking her more with even eyes in the lighter colour.



My camera and photography skills can't let me show properly the beautiful faceup i ordered, specially the faint glitter powder around the eyelids, it's so delicate and well done that upon seeing it in person my expectations were surpassed, i also gave her a beauty mark below the lips.
It's great to see your ideas materialized on a faceup and unlike the experience of working with an artist with whom you can have communication throughout the face up process and even suggest some changes before they finish, you have to wait to see the final result, but i think you can't go wrong with Volks, all their faceups are beautiful.



I first tried on her one of the short hair wigs i got with my order but i ended up liking her more with a long hair wig i already had.



I have a soft spot for a side glance I named her Anzu, which in japanese means "Apricot", since her soft looking skin makes me think of one haha.



I had the luck of getting this outfit during the release from volks International website before it was sold out and had it reserved for her, I love how sweet Anzu looks in it.


Finally a mandatory picture of my other girls welcoming her, i'm really happy with the arrival of Anzu in my doll collection.
