My first proper faceup attempt!

    1. Whenever i try to do faceup, i never fully take the whole thing off because im scared but today i managed to get confident and do it all from scratch!

      thanks a lot. I was so scared of doing eyebrows to be honest

      i draw using soft pastels as a medium before i got into BJD makeup and i didn’t realise those are the actual stuff used for faceup. Other than that, i also used some watercolour pencils i have lying around, and some acrylic paint.

      i used isopropyl alcohol to remove the old faceup. :)

      thanks a lot. I do drawings and sketches to begin with so maybe that translated well into this. I was super scared to start with to be honest.

      with the eyebrows, i used a flat brush using soft pastel powders to make straight lines first then i added the eyebrow hairs :)

    12. Lovely! I'm a huge sucker for these types of faceups, a little more on the subtle and realistic side. The scars/wounds are beautiful, that's something I really want to work on when I get back into practicing faceups. Please share future faceups, I'd love to see more of your work :3nodding:
