I can relate - I'm getting back into it, too. I had to pack and store all my dolls when we downsized 6 years ago. Last summer we got a smaller storage unit so I brought most of my dolls home. It was like Christmas when I opened their boxes! I'd forgotten how lovely they all are. Most are rather old, although I was still surprised at how many posts and photos here on DoA have disappeared. Even some dealer sites (Soul Doll, Fairyland, Elfdoll, Limhwa) have closed or have deleted older reference pages. Still, it's fun taking them out and appreciating them again.

 

I'm in similar situation. I got my first doll (Supia Muse) 2016 If I remember right. I joined here 3,5 years ago but I have been only following the group. I had some life changes and I didn't have time for dolls for years. But lately I have started missing the hobby.
