Aesthetics My first Male Faceup

Hello again! I just blew a paycheck on art supplies yesterday for my other project (the Fantasy Dollhouse) and I picked up some pastels and watercolor pencils to do a faceup for my new Lati Yellow. This little guy is the 2020 event head called Loui, but I've taken to calling him Leo. I haven't seen any owner pictures of him at all, so I wasn't sure how he'd turn out looking. This is also the first faceup I've ever done for a boy

Here he is, my little Leo! I borrowed the eyes of my other doll, Valentine, to see how he'd look and I'm very pleased with how he turned out. His wig and clothes arrived today which was a lovely surprise, and I think the color of the wig suits his resin very well

 

Update:

After while I started to not like how high up Leo's freckles were between his eyes so I very gently used rubbing alcohol to remove some of them. The fleshy undertone I used for the base of the freckles still remain where I removed the darker ones but I think his face looks more balanced now
