My first faceup!

    1. [​IMG] [​IMG]This is my first faceup on my first BJD, a Luts Jean! She's a vampire so I wanted to depict that in her faceup. I tried to give her very messy bushy eyebrows, but I went a little overboard, but, her wig has bangs so they won't be seen too much. I think it went pretty smoothly, aside from how annoying the lint/dust in the air was when sealing, and also I think I didn't let the sealant dry down enough (I live in the PNW so it's very humid) as when layering over the pastels, it looks a little cloudy. Honest critique welcome!

      I'm also trying to do a vampire look on my vampy doll.. did you layer black over the red lips?

    4. This looks amazing! Especially the eyelashes :love

      I think the eyebrows look fine, especially for your first try. But if you're not happy with them, adding a few more horizontal hairs would help smooth them out.

      Like everyone else I really really loved the eyelashes!
      I think the hair in the eyebrows looks a little sparse. Maybe if you used pastels to make a background base color it would fix that.

    13. Her eyelashes are phenomenal, especially for your first try! I actually would love to know what medium you were using for her lips as well, they're such a nice dark crimson! Her eyebrows are a little too high, like before mentioned, and I personally feel like they may be too bold. However, some people really LOVE bold eyebrows, so that's really just a matter of opinion. But wow! You totally have the talent for faceups!

Oh my goodness!! her eyelashes are so beautiful!! i wish i could paint them that well!! her lips too, youve got the hand for fine details clearly! as a couple others said the other thing id maybe add are some more pastels to the eyebrows if you want them a little less bushy but if thats what youre going for then i think they look great too!
