Back in mid 2014 I got bit hard by the tiny bug, and I spent 3 months searching for that perfect little girl to bring home. I stumbled across Oceanmoon's Lin, and it was love at first sight. I knew she would come home to me, but I didn't know when. Techincally speaking, Ansa is my third doll, but my first tiny. I love, love, love her! She isn't going anywhere, and I am officially hooked on tinies now. I'm already eyeing Oceanmoon's future doll Hyon-Won as a possible older brother, too. So, without further ado, I had a box arrive today! Earlier than I expected it to, too. I also apologize for the crappy photos - a much better camera is on my to-do list. To start, here's the outer box, EPE foam-wrapped inner box, and the inner box with the COA's envelope and doll cards.: The COA and doll cards side-by-side, and the COA by itself - which I tried my best to get a close-up of. Sorry about that.: The very simplistic outer box, and a peek of the bubble-wrapped mummy! I could already smell the resin through the box, too. Man, I had forgotten how strong the smell of fresh resin is. : I actually really like this box. It's sleek, and it's very easy to work with. I very, very carefully took my girl out of the box, laid her on the quilt, and slowly took off the foam. I was so afraid to touch her. Oceanmoon's resin is super nice. It's matte, toothy and heavy. I was actually surprised by her heft - and even more surprised by the utterly adorable bunny hook in her head! Look at that thing - so, so, cute!: And finally, here's Ansa all dressed and ready to go!: The eyes Oceanmoon sent her with are very nice - dark blue/grey and loaded with sparkles. They're far too big for my liking, though. I bought two pairs of urethane eyes to switch these out with, but I'll change them later. My hands are too tired after fiddling with the tiny snaps on her dress. I don't really like the wig, either. I bought it on impulse from Luts, and it is a nightmare to work with. It fits, but it's poofy with thin spots everywhere. I should have bought one from Leekeworld instead. Ugh. However, I absolutely love everything else! Man, I love this little girl so much. I can't put her down! Thanks for looking!
Yessss, she looks gorgeous!! Congratulations! I was curious if they'd send her in the new style (black) box - it is really sleek and certainly easier to use than their old packaging. Though the old had its own charms. It's nice to see they are evolving in a professional direction Ahh, I wish you lots of happy days ahead with Ansa! Happy arrival day!
Eeee, thank you! Yeah, I remember the Dunkin' Donuts box your Eun-Ryoung came in. I thought that was pretty funny. Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Congrats, I got a Lin too, but i got the old packaging but i don't feel that the resin is heavy though :P Nice of you to get the improved version of Lin hahaha.. They're improving very fast..
Oh, thank you! Thank you! Yeah, I'm really glad to see how Oceanmoon is improving, too! Thank you so much! I can't wait to spoil her! Thank you!
She has such a darling face with those big ol' doe eyes! That dress is so cute on her too, all fluffy and darling.
