Aesthetics My first bjd faceup! Any tips and critiques are appreciated!

    2. I like the colors! :D

      - trim the eyelashes
      - the edges of the eyeliner and lipstick are a bit uneven in places. Because they're flat, bold colors, the uneven edge stands out more.
      - the lipstick is asymmetrical; the left half is taller and wider than the right half.
      - some eyeliner on the lower lids could help balance the eyes
      - eyebrows could use some texture, maybe with a darker/lighter color, metallic, or gloss to make "hairs". Right now they read as very flat/2D.
      - the lower lashes look a bit grainy (watercolor pencil crayon?). If you want smoother lines, use a very fine paintbrush and thinned acrylics (you can practice brush strokes on paper or a ping-pong ball)

    3. Thank you!! I really appreciate the input and yea I’ll definitely try to patch up the edges of her lips and such cause I noticed they were wonky also yea on the bottom lashes I used watercolor pencils I was too nervous to go in with acrylic

    4. I get you on that one! I use a really long liner brush (20/0) for lower lashes, and you get lovely fine hairs that way. Also good for brows and tiny capillaries/face textured etc :)
