Aesthetics My Faceups!

    1. Hello all!

      Below are some faceups I have done on my own dolls, and would love some feedback on what to improve. Here is what I think of my own work:

      Good: skin details and lips
      Bad: eyelashes and brows- not natural enough, hairs too thick

      I look forward to some truly honest critique of my work so I can get better!

    2. Your skin work is amazing, really well done. I would say work on defining the brows and facial hair. They look really soft and fuzzy, and your brow is always a more defined part of your face. You want to get that contrast.

    3. Agreed! Although I was aiming for greyish brows for my Balian. I do think I should experiment with bolder faceups as mine are quite subtle...

    5. Thanks! I’m not at the level of realism I want yet...that’s why I was looking for some fairly direct critique, so thanks for your imput. Personally I don’t think I do the individual brow and lash hairs bold enough.

    6. More defined hairs, and also a more defined edge along the upper lips, I think, and your realism would be getting there!
