My Dolls [Update:Dec30,08]

Seriously *amazing* talent!
I am soo in love with Reina, it hurts! For me, she is just perfect!
Maomao has the cutest lil face and lippies!
But one of his/her thighs is a little shorter and wider, it could be the angle of the picture, though.
Really good job! I wish I had half your talent!

Wow, these are nice, they look very professional and have a clean finish. Reina is very sweet, I like her, she reminds me a bit of Lovelyhouse Rooa.

 

Those are really good! I can't wait to see them finished.

These 2 are amazing! the little one is adorable, but the larg head is just spectacular! Such great definition on the lips!

Very nice work..the face is well sculpted and blended, the body joints look well proportioned and workable...great job...have you sculpted artdolls before? you look like you have some experience.

my only concern is that sculpy though durable, may not be able to hold up to the movement of the joints unless handled very gently in posing...super sculpy tends to fracture especially on smaller parts and with the tension of the elastics not sure if it will hold up too well..

but your sculpting is fantastic..

 

i think i hate you. And after seeing those last pics of Aamu, i am sure of it. OMG you have some serious skills!!!!! very very professional. please give me some hope and tell me you haven't been at this for years and years and taken absurdly expensive lessons.

Super Sculpey is easy to cast from, and it's fairly strong. If your doll isn't strung too tight it should hold up just fine! Bastian did break when i put his SS head on a body, but the body was strung tightly so... that was probably why he broke, too much pressure. EEee~ they're both SO adorable!

Reina is beautiful, I'd like to see a profile picture though?

Lovelyhouse is a Korean doll company, not currently producing any dolls, but Rooa was one of their most recent offerings. Look at gigglegeek.dk under Lovelyhouse.

 

I LOVE them both! I especially like the shape of the first head. It's beautifully round and soft-looking. I can't wait to see your next progress shots!

I just got LaDoll for my girl. I actually find it ALOT easier to use than Sculpy. But I have really really warm hands, and the sculpy usually turns to mush.
Does the putty make a really huge difference? I don't really have the money to go out and buy some putty right now, but if it's really helpful, I'll have to get some. ^_^ i'm a little nervous about the size and proportions though. -never seen a BJD in RL-
