There is one person there in the thread that posted pics of their doll when she arrived and the face looked like that . I asked them specificaly to do that faceup.

oh and a note on shipping..they are pretty quick getting her shipped. I orded her at the end of december ( dont recall exact date ) and she is already in the States entering customs!

French Resin...when I ordered her, French was the only resin option where you could select a faceup...but I knew already from photos I had seen on Flickr that I wanted her in French Resin

Here's my lovely girl.



Her name is either Norah or Neve. She's wearing a knitted shawl (in keeping with her early 19th century period) but unfortunately this is her only item of clothing so far. She is beautiful and I love her. The wig she is wearing is the one from Mydolling. I am ambivalent about this wig to say the least. It is beautifully soft but very flyaway, almost impossible to make tidy and too small. It takes a great deal of struggle to get it on and the slightest thing makes it pop off again.

For Hee-Ah herself, she stands effortlessly and if you just put her down for a second, she poses effortlessly without you having to do anything. The only posing problem is she can't sit on a human sofa or bed without a lot of fiddling and even then she doesn't really look right. She has a faceplate rather than a headplate and this means that the range of motion of the head and neck is a bit limited.

I have a Dollga wig for her (a LOT of hair for such a delicate head). The fringe will have to be trimmed but the fit is a lot better.

 

Congrats on getting her! She is lovely!

I have resisted the urge to purchase my girl any wig until I get her home and see what maker is going to fit better :/ I do have eyes for her that should be here today and she should arrive at work to me on Monday or Tuesday

I do think the wig on her looks VERY lifelike...but again congrats on having her home

 

She is so beautiful! Either Neve or Norah suits her.

 

I really love the way she looks standing next to a Narae. May have to consider her, she looks like a younger Zaoll to me.

 

weeee im so excited...my doll arrived at work on Sat! Everyone wanted to see how so I had to open her at work but she is more beautiful in person!! Love the heart on the back of her head

Wow. She is beautiful. And that's the default face-up? It's very lovely. I almost got one for Norah. Those blue eyes are very striking on her and change her expression a lot. She looks very awake. I love the wig you've put on her -- it makes the most of her beautiful forehead. How old do you feel she is?

psammead I am still unsure of her age...in that photo she seems very mature but at other times not so...I think late teen years though. And yes finding a wig is I think the most challange for her. She has such wonderful facial features

Yes that is the size, but I do have a wig cap on her which helps a lot.

Finally took some photos of twins!

Anya- twin A(left) and Shana-twin B(right). They were made together and in their certificate they marked both as twins!
Shana is slightly taller and has lighter skintone.
Anya belongs to me and Shana to my friend. Once i done her faceup they will separate ^_^ But for now they spending lots time together

Thanks for sharing, BunnieB. From your pics I'm now sure that my HeeAh will come in Korea resin. French resin is beautiful, but living where I live will yellow the poor girl in matter of weeks.

Still, I'd like to see french resin HeeAh reviews. Just in case, you know...

 

Owww... right this moment is the last chance to buy Heeah for 5% off (Valentine event) and I'm going crazy here!

I know I want her, I have the money because I sold a lot of dolls... but I just ordered Dollmore Zihu and I told myself I would not get two dolls at the same time. Especially not when I was deliberately downsizing my collection to only my "bare essential" dolls (lol!)

Do I have the will power to NOT click that button? Help!!

 

I've been trying to talk myself out of ordering HeeAh all day, haha. I wonder if I can keep up the willpower.

Well, I officially resisted. The only question is, for how long
I must say it helps that I already have a dolly on the way, I can focus on that... getting her clothes and such.

 

Another one who bravely resisted to HeeAh during the last day of Valentine's sale. I actually had the money, but... I'm not sure about getting her in korean resin or french resin yet. Also, I need to pay a customizer and buy some wigs. I'll put her in layaway as soon as I make up my mind.

Is this doll limited at all? And does anyone know how the layaway works for Mydolling?

She's not limited and, if I'm not mistaken, this is how their layaway works: 30% of the total value when you place the order and payment cleared in three months.
