Ordering My Dollection

Nov 5, 2022

    1. /o\ oooooh i wish i'd checked in here before making my order in February, guess i'll be sending an email to see about my stuff ;;;

(Given it's imomo it might not be too bad, but it's one of their ¼ girls and i know those had a delay already. But the clothes and eyes... ack now i'm concerned!)

    2. I’m so glad I read this because I was looking at clover sing and dollection for dolls but I think I shall stick with janesdoll

    3. Oh I forgot to update! I got everything from Dollection except the eyes which I ordered separately. (I think that part might be a small language barrier issue, I tried to ask if i could wait for the first order to send them with that, instead of sending them with a future third order, but that didn't wind up working.)

Everything else arrived and was lovely! I got to see how three sets of anime eyes work for the vinyl doll i got in a little set they had, as well as an inexpensive (but still quite nice) wig. Helped me make some decisions about the doll. Overall I'm pleased, but maybe be careful trying to combine orders.

    4. I was thinking about ordering something from Dollection, but I am glad I checked here first. They seem wishy-washy which is a total shame. They have artist dolls on their website that are fantastic. I can't find them listed anywhere on the internet other than on the Dollection site either. :(

    5. Been a while, but a bit more feedback from me. I have been leading a group order from Dollection with two other people from my country that is still ongoing. A girl fell in love with the XianYun Angelcat and contacted Dollection asking if they could find one for her. They immediately got in contact with the artist who had some stock left and listed the doll. I wanted one too, then a third girl suggested making it a group order since she wanted to order some heads. The whole order ended up being 2 full dolls and 5 heads.

We paid by layaway, that all went smoothly. Dollection was accommodating enough, offered us the choice of only one or both faceplates with the cats, then let me know that the artist had to search their warehouse for one of the white skinned cats we ordered, but there was another one in a slightly different skintone immediately available if we didn't want to wait. We chose the white one anyway. We didn't get any message that the doll had been located, but after 3 months after the layaway was paid off I asked for a status update and was told that basically the entire order was on deck, except for 1 head that was still being made.

They asked us if we wanted to wait for that one or have the rest of the order shipped out already and pay shipping separately for the one head once it was complete (shipping the rest of the order first would qualify us for free shipping). We decided we could wait a bit longer, so I told dollection that and asked how much longer that head was going to take. Turned out that was at least 2 months. So We asked to have the rest shipped out already after all, they agreed. Then the girl that's waiting for the one head decided she was going to try and get that head moved from the group order to her personal order that she also has going with Dollection. Dollection said I had to contact them about that too. So I did and very politely asked if the head could be moved to the other girl's order and shipped directly to her. Apparently that was when they were getting a bit fed up with the requests, or I caught them at a bad time. Their exact response was "OK, we have a lot of packages lately, we are checking the 2nd QC one by one, will be a little delay ya>.< ", including that emoticon. Make of that what you will, I personally understand the frustration of people asking questions while you're having a ton of work to be done, but this sounds a slight bit unprofessional. That message was from August 17, we're still waiting for a shipping notice.

So I guess they're trying to be accommodating enough. To be continued.

    6. I personally never got that missing horn from my artist head so I've written off that dealer completely.

    7. Update on this. They never did tell us whether the one head had been moved to the other person's private order. After the above there was a month of silence, during which it later turned out they were apparently moving warehouses. On September 9 I asked them for a status update. 3 Days later they replied, that they had been having trouble with their communication channels and that the order had been shipped out already and they would adjust my order status and give me a tracking number asap. On the 20th I checked the site for my order status and there was a message (apparently messages in the chatbox do not go to my email, whereas emails do end up getting displayed in the chat box) saying there had been a communication error with the shipping staff, they hadn't gotten the memo that our order should be shipped out anyway and were still holding it until the last head will be finished (which should be any day now I guess). They said they would ask them again to ship the order out and would get back to me. That was 10 days ago, To be continued, again.

    8. I've made 3 orders with MyDollection but have only received 2 as the last one is still on pre-order. The first doll (it was 1/6 scale) I ordered didn't hit the free shipping mark so I had to pay 38 dollars later when she was ready to ship. After that I decided to only order if I spent more than $150 to get the free shipping. This is a personal decision as I prefer paying for everything upfront, including shipping.

The second order was the Puyoo Pocket Kumako doll and two doll stands. The owner was very nice and helpful as she listed the doll immediately so I could purchase it (I had trouble finding the doll on the website because it wasn't listed yet so they added it when asked). The items shipped in a reasonable time and I picked the package up at a nearby store. I don't like SF Express because when the package was dropped off at a store to be picked up, I didn't know about it until I called customer service and was given a new tracking code to pick up the package.

My last order is a 1/4 doll, a Maydoll Serval ( They were one of the few sites offering the dark tan option) with a dress. Hopefully she'll arrive safe when she's ready to ship. I haven't had a bad experience with MyDollection so I'll continue to order from them. :)

    9. I'm still waiting on an order I made back at the end of July for their Aphrodite brushes which were listed as ready/in stock. When I asked a while later for an update they said that it'd been picked up and was coming to them, so the item wasn't actually ready to ship to me... That puts me off a little since I wish they'd removed it from the ready stock section if it wasn't actually in their warehouse, but I'm going to contact customer service again to see about an update.

    10. So Dollection posted this announcement on their instagram (I am not on instagram, just sharing the screenshot that was posted on Discord):

      [IMG]Screenshot_20231024-134522_Instagram by jefvonk, on Flickr

So she is running the place alone and has been dodging questions about shipping because she can't keep up. Come next months she should be getting help and things should improve. The current shipping backlog based on my and other people's experiences is 3 months for in-stock items. From what I have been told by others who have orders going with Dollection, Dollection only issued this statement after being threatened with Paypal claims. AS for those heads she promises in compensation, I have no clue which heads those resin printed heads might be.

    11. It's not like things went smoothly before all of that. My doll head will be forever hornless because of their poor service.

    12. More update on my group order situation: I finally got a shipping notice this morning. For 2/3 of the order, even though everything is finished as far as I know. The previous shipping update I got (a month ago) was that the airport/customs had sent it all back to Dollection because they used the wrong box and Dollection had to ship it again in two boxes. I did get two shipping notices for two packages: one shipping from their warehouse in Malaysia... and one from China (directly from the manufacturer I guess?). The ones from China are heads they claimed they had in stock that have supposedly been ready to ship for months now. And the two full dolls we ordered, two of the same actually that were also "in stock" (which I now know often means in stock WITH THE ARTIST, not at Dollection's warehouse) didn't get shipped yet for some reason. So yeah, progress at last, but still confusing.

    13. Adding to this thread, unfortunately. :(

I ordered a Birdcube Fuguir head in gray resin from MyDollection on June 11th since the website seemed very reputable and they do a ton of advertising on Instagram. I found this thread afterwards and grew worried, but held out the hope that they were improving. A shipping notice popped up on November 7th to my excitement, but I've received nothing but auto-generated scans from Jamaica, NY - where one of the US Customs Centers are located. I've patiently waited for a few weeks, but eventually did an internet search and found that searching my tracking number on an alternate website showed that it wasn't picked up from the warehouse until November 16th. The site gave me detailed tracking data that showed my "package" had made it to the US and cleared customs, but still hadn't been handed over to the post office.

Worried, I sent two emails to Awa and both have gone unanswered. I was unable to reach the Jamaica NY or US Customs by phone, so I contacted customs by email to see if I needed to give them additional information or pay a fee. I also put in a missing mail search request with the USPS on December 8th. This morning I received a reply that if they'd had my package and it needed anything they would've contacted me. I called up my local post office and asked if their system showed anything. The lady I spoke to thinks they never sent the package, since the auto-generated scans don't require an actual barcode.

What a nightmare. I know it can't be the shipping services from China either, because I ordered a jacket from Pabadoll off of Etsy a few days before Thanksgiving that's on track to arrive next week and an off-topic 1/12 bjd from Kikagoods on 11/28 that already showed up two days ago. I had my heart set on this doll head. I tried emailing Awa again about an hour ago. Does anyone know if anything can be done?

    14. @Kaiyashu I'm sorry you're having such trouble, I hope your head will show up and arrive safely after all! Apparently Awa is hospitalized or at least was a week ago, and they have a new customer service email, [email protected] . Is that the one you used?

Update on my grouporder: Part 1 of 3 arrived last week (the package that came straight from the artist in China), the other one (from Malaysia hasn't been updated since it left that country and I'm getting worried. It's probably still stuck in the customs backlog, but I worry it's actually sitting there waiting for me to pay the fees and the app isn't sending me notifications so it might get returned to sender (in which case it's lost, I've never heard of packages being returned to Asia ever actually arriving). As far as the last part of the order goes, still no word on when they'll ship, I need to go ask for an update again=_=.

    15. I had sent it directly to Awa, but that explains why I never got a response! Thank you so much, I'll send my email inquiry to this one instead! I hope the rest of your group order arrives safely too!

    16. Meh, unreliable people always say they're in the hospital, or not at home or whatever. It's not like they were responsive before.
I hope you'll get your stuff though.

    17. I had a very mixed experience with them. I Bought their articulated BJD wings—4 sets because I’m impulsive like that.

Quality of the product was not as expected. The “feathers” are made of really low-quality shipping foam, which got crinkled like crazy in shipping. Overall, I’ve made nicer wings just DIY out of felt, so they’re not nearly as nice as they look. The black wings were made from a higher quality material—more analogous to craft foam.

quality of the transaction was just awful. I ordered November 2022, and expected my wings to arrive in august. My wings arrived in November of 2023. They had to change offices at one point, ignored my emails for weeks on end, shipped my stuff to an address so incorrect it got returned to them before it left Malaysia, and then didn’t bother to get back to me about that for another couple weeks. I feel that if I wasn’t on top of emailing them to demand updates, they may never have shipped my wings at all.

They also gave me more eyes than I ordered—I think this was a mistake, but it could also have been a gift to apologize for the shipping times?

As a plus, they never contacted me to demand extra shipping money, like they did to a lot of other people. As a minus, the wings were shipped wrapped in that thin packing foam, sandwiched between two layers of cardboard, but otherwise wholly unprotected. I’m astounded they weren’t completely destroyed by the transit from Malaysia to Canada.

    18. Thanks, me too!

I do have an update. After I'd forwarded the previously written, stern email (along with my condolences for Awa), customer service responded very quickly and contacted their shipping partner. They said it's being inspected and is due to be handed over to USPS sometime next week. They were really nice and helpful, so I'm hoping their shipping partner does what they promised. Fingers crossed!

Also, thanks to everyone in this thread for the support and comraderie. I feel much better now! :chibi

    19. So I got a response to my question about part 3 of our group order (containing 2 XianYun AngelCats): apparently they were in stock, but Dollection moved warehouses a few months back and the old warehouse never responded to their enquiries about/shipping requests for the dolls, so they ordered new ones from the artist last month that are currently in "expedited production" O.o. Without talking to me first obviously. So that's going to be several more months of waiting it seems, and I'm very confused as to what this means for the dolls that are still at the old warehouse. Did they forget those? Are there other people whose dolls had to be reordered because they got stuck at that warehouse? So confusing. In other news, part 2 of 3 of the group order has been stuck in customs for 3 weeks now and I'm anxious, but that's not Dollection's fault.

    20. Oof, I hope part 2 of your group order gets released from customs soon and that part 3 gets to you as soon as possible! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Also, my order finally showed up today! But instead of going through New York City as the shipping label suggested, she showed up in Illinois for some strange reason on Christmas Eve and safely made her way home quickly once USPS got a hold of her. I posted a box opening in the arrival gallery if anyone's interested and again, I just want to thank everyone here for being so helpful and kind while I was getting gray hairs about this.

    21. I ordered one of Wanderlust’s blind box dolls from them in early 2023 ... and I’m starting to wonder if I’ll ever see this doll ...

When I ordered, I was under the impression that it was a preorder like the others (you wait a few months and you receive your precious). But... I came across Wanderlust’s Instagram page the other day and they just released 2 of the Friends of the Forest and now seem to be focusing on creating several other projects.

Is anyone in the same situation?

Also... Does My Dollection have the right to offer an early sale for an item when the item is literally non-existent, even one year after the preorder?

    22. I have seen dolls for presale on their website that are completely discontinued, so I would be very cautious buying through them.

I would contact them first with availability questions, or ask the artist themselves if possible.

    23. Yes, I now realize that ...
Unfortunately, there weren’t really any red flags at the beginning of 2023.

If only I could go back in time and prevent my past self from ordering on this website!

    24. Yea, it is a shame. Some of these doll artists on the website are great and I really, really want some of their dolls, but I have a feeling I would never see what I paid for. I tried looking up a few of the artists to contact them directly as I suggested previously, but I did not have any luck.

    25. Time for a long overdue update I guess. I got a devastating health diagnosis back in January and Dollection has not been my priority, but I really should post this.

So, part 2 of 3 of our group order had vanished off the tracking on November 30 last year. Late January we started pushing Dollection to investigate. They said the officially allotted time frame for delivery still hadn't run out (16 weeks O.o) and Pos Malaysia would notify tbem if anything happened. Then the tracking number was marked as expired on 17track. Days later the package arrived (via surface mail/boat as it turned out). It was marked on the label as containing 2 heads, but there was just no room and sure enough, the Spines Fushiya head was nowhere to be found.

Due to my health situation I had let my order mates do the talking with Dollection but it doesn't seem to be going very well, I suppose I should have sent Dollection a clear, official message giving the others permission to do the communication from now on. Might still have to. Either way we have heard nothing about the Fushiya head since.

As for part 3 of 3, the Angelcats: we found out that the casts had unexplained yellow spots and those parts had to be redone, which is kind of the artist, but ugh. This group order has been going for almost 10 months now>.<

    26. Guess I might add my experience here too since I was pointed at this thread:

I ordered a doll head back in July and was quoted 4 months for it so it should have been ready and shipped around November or early December. After I had placed the order they asked if I wanted to add body to the order since they had some in stock and I figured, why not? It's in stock so it won't make the wait any longer. How wrong I was.

I received the list of bodies available, picked the one I liked and made a new order for it like they had told me to do. It took little back and forth until they realized that it was the body I wanted to be bundled with the head and they promised to merge the orders together (to this day they still aren't merged but at least they acknowledged they go together)

Months go by and it's finally November so I send them a message to ask if the head is ready. Their response? The head is ready and they've got it, but the body isn't. I'm confused, the body was supposed to be in stock? But apparently it no longer is? Well whatever, I don't mind waiting a bit longer so I don't argue. More time passes and it's January, I ask again and get told the body still hasn't been shipped to them but the company said it'll be done after Chinese New Year. I waited until some days ago before asking again and it's still not done.

I have so many regrets over adding that body in the order, I should have just stuck with the head only and worried about the body for it later since I would have actually had the head for months now without it. :sigh (supposing it wouldn't have gotten lost on the way or stuck somewhere)

Whole thing has been so annoying that I kind of don't even want the doll anymore since I'll always associate it with this. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed at this point that eventually I'll receive my order but I definitely won't be coming back for more.

    27. Seeing all these posts are making me anxious about my orders with Mydollection. I've ordered from them twice in the past with zero issues. First was a 1/6 scale PVC doll and the second order was 2 stands and a pocket kumako. They were very responsive and quick to reply and my orders came perfectly fine.

But now I feel like maybe I just got lucky with my two orders. Currently, I have a lemon cat maydoll on pre-order with them, they offered a special dark tan so that's why I ordered from them. Hopefully I get it. >__<

    28. Yeah, i'm in the same boat (one previous order was fine, concerned about my current order, which is supposed to be combined with another i had made in between). Though i will say i asked for a status update on mine like. three days ago. and have gotten radio silence. So that's not a good feeling, especially since i'm sharing this order with a friend.

    29. Yeah, that's really eerie. I hope in the end that you get your order safe and smoothly. I'll probably message them about my order in a few weeks since I don't think people got their lemon cat order from other sites yet.

    30. I'll add my experience here as well. I ordered an artist head in August 2023. I knew it might take awhile since it was a small artist, this hobby has taught me patience. However, finding this thread at the end of 2023 made me concerned. In December 2023, I asked the Customer Service chat for an update on my order and was told my order was still in progress. It's now March 2024, and my order still says "Awaiting Shipment".

It's too late to do a PayPal Dispute, so at this point if I don't get the head I ordered, well... that's unfortunate and frustrating for me and everyone in the same boat.

      • x 1
    31. Well. My chat message from a week ago was never answered, so i've just sent them an email. Strongly considering opening a paypal dispute if they don't respond, though i would hate to do that. i would rather have the items in the orders, especially since some of that was for my friend :/ i'll be out of luck anyway for the eyes i ordered a year ago which were supposed to be combined with another order, but... idk, i'm holding out a little bit of hope. (very little.)

    32. Not to double post, but. A doll friend alerted me to the story posted today on Dollection's Instagram account, with the following text:
Apologies for the inconvenience, I've been in an accident and hospitalized for a few weeks.
I'll start replying from the day after tomorrow.
Truly sorry, it was beyond my control.

Hopefully they're okay. (And yeah, selfishly, hopefully we still all get our stuff.) But this might explain some of what's going on, at least.

    33. Thank you for the update and sorry to hear that she was hurt. Sounds that she has fallen on some hard times and I hope she can recover soon.
I don't think it's selfish to be concerned about your order even so. If this is her livelihood then she needs orders to go out even more than we do. Her shop's reputation is already mixed at best and a lot of people are becoming wary of ordering and nervous about their orders.

      • x 2
    34. I've also just placed an order with them on impulse without reading the reviews (Wish I have!) and now I just reached out to them asking when I am able to expect my order... I saw that they got into an accident and I wish them a speedy recovery too @_@

Fingers crossed we will all get our orders in time.

    35. I wish I saw this thread before I placed an order in July 2023. I ordered a full doll (head with a Dikadoll body). I got a message in November that the head was going to be ready, but the body was not. The body is still not ready, more than 8 months later. Looking at the Dikadoll waiting rooms, it doesn't seem like their orders take that long to ship. I'm getting pretty worried at this point. I hope all of our orders can be sorted out soon ;o;

    36. Statement from MyDollection's Instagram story on March 23rd:

      Transcribed:

"I apologize for any inconvenience. Recently, I was involved in a car accident and have just recovered. Typing may be slower for me as my hand is still in the process of healing. If there are any other updates you require, please feel free to contact me via inbox.

As our shop is currently being managed by only one person, staff turnover has been frequent in our community. Our owner has changed several times, and at present, I am the only one who has remained. Since January this year, I have taken over the complete management of this website and have discovered numerous issues and oversights that need addressing.

I am committed to fulfilling any outstanding orders to the best of my ability and improving the functionality of this website. If there are any shortcomings, I appreciate your patience and understanding."

    37. Apologies for the double post, they just posted this update on their Instagram. (The link leads to their post which has a photo of their hand with stitches, just FYI). The text of the post reads:

"Hello everybody. and thanks for all the heartwarming message from inbox. I’m healing now!

      Situation:
Currently, I’ve taken over this company during the New Year period, and there are many areas I’m not familiar with yet. Each order requires me to reach out to the previous customer service for assistance, making updates and progress relatively slow.

Additionally, due to a recent car accident, I’ve injured my hand, and my waist.. making me hard to sit up and work plus typing is quite slow with injury (as I’ve shared in two previous posts) and I only had my plaster cast removed. Consequently, I’m finding it challenging to control the current situation. I’m working hard to familiarize myself with the entire process, so I kindly ask for some time to address these issues.

During my recovery period, I’m seeking external assistance, such as finding a temporary assistant to help with responding to messages. Unfortunately, I haven’t found anyone available to assist yet. I am also seeking medical help to expedite the healing process. However, I still need some time to adjust to my new role and responsibilities. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Please rest assured, I will not be accepting any more orders from the site for the time being. I will focus on settling all inquiries and sorting out existing orders first.

If anyone is curious about order, As far as I’m aware, all payments to the company have been made in full when someone ordered.

Apologies, I’m copying and pasting as typing with two fingers is quite challenging for me. And there might be some grammar mistake."

    38. I'm glad the current inquiries are going to be settled. I am sorry that this person was in an accident though. Medical bills, sudden injury, on top of, what sounds like, solely taking care of a business is extremely overwhelming. While the process may be slow I hope everything works out in the end for everyone.

    39. Apparently the person who runs Dollection had some ill-defined accident and has no help(?) so is not answering any emails - and is unlikely shipping anything. I have written multiple times on site, on IG, by email - not one answer. I have said I will cancel order through paypal dispute if I do not get any information - still no response. I ordered two heads - for over $200.00 - back in November. So almost 5 months. Any body else have news?

    40. If you are seeking a refund, you had better do so soon via paypal. You only have 180 days from the purchase date to file a claim.
I have never had any of my emails replied to, I only ever got responses from the chat widget on the website, which is no longer working. I am past that paypal window so just trying to hope for the best.

    41. Ordered a doll in June last year, they would have placed all the orders in July. Still have not received it when they were supposed to be sent out in December. I asked them start of march? Said the seller was behind and they only got part of their orders in. And that my order should get to them end of March.

Saw their IG post about their hand, but that post is now deleted and you can't message them on their site. Its to late to even get a refund. (almost a year)

      • x 2
    42. I hope their plan is to simply not accept more orders or messages until they've handled the currently open ones and have sent all of those out. Maybe due that they've taken the messenger down (it would take a lot of time they could use to get orders handled to answer all the worried/angry messages after all) so I'm going to try and stay positive for a little bit longer to see if the situation clears up.

I really wish that instead of posting such important notifications as Instagram stories they'd put a statement directly on their site so people who don't use IG could see them too and they'd be more permanent.

I'm not overly optimistic but despite everything I want to give them a chance. I'm already shit out of luck regarding the possible refunds anyway so all I can do is hope for the best.

As a final slap in the face I recently had a birthday and they sent me an automated message saying they granted me 1000 dolly points to use in their store. I really don't think I'll be ever using them unless it can be used to pay part of the shipping if I'm ever getting the doll I ordered? :sweat

    43. I would like to think this is the case, but I tested it and it seems like you can still buy things in the store. Or at least get to the point where they are ready to process your payment. I agree that the information is obscured and I'm worried that people may still be buying products without knowing all that is going on. :(

    44. FILE A PAYPAL CLAIM NOW!

I experienced with mydollection has been so frustrating! I placed two orders with them and both have been delayed.

I placed the first order on 02/20/2023 (yes, over a year ago!). My order included 3 travel kitties from Kaniboom. I was initially told that the production time would be 4-6 months. I contacted them in July and was told that production will be finished in August. Since this was my first time ordering from them, I believe them and placed my second order on 09/05/2023 for on stock items. According to their website, on stock items were shipped within 14 business days. This is when things started to go down hill.

After the two weeks, I reached out for an update on both of my orders. For the kitties, I was told that the artists would be shipping the kitties in the next two weeks. For my second order, I found out that the items I ordered were not actually on stock! I was also told that because they moved to another warehouse, in their own words, they "we're not focusing on shipping lately". Not the most professional response...

I waited and reached out again mid October and was told that my second order will be shipped next week. Waited again and reached out again at the end of October and was told that my first order was just shipped to them by the artist (didn't the artist shipped the items back in September?!) and for my second order, the items would be restocked next week.

November came, neither of my orders shipped. Asked for a status again. This time, I was told that Kaniboom would release the kitties in December. I was even more confused because I was told back in September that the artist had shipped the dolls to them. For my second order, it included two Imomo dolls, and according to mydollection, Imomo was behind in production. I realized that this dealer has the habit of blaming their lack of business responsibility on others, so I reached out to Kaniboom directly who confirmed that they had already shipped all orders to dealers. I also realized that I would never get neither of my orders, so I asked for a refund for my second order at the end of January. Mydollection declined, so I opened a PayPal claim before the six months ended and. Mydollection didn't responde to the claim, so I got my money back thanks to PayPal.

I got a message at the beginning of February asking if I wanted the kitties to be shipped before Lunar Year or after, I said before and that was the last update I got. I never received a confirmation that my items were shipped or not. I was around this time that mydollection posted on IG stories that they were hospitalized.

Since the chat on their website is not active anymore, I sent an email two day ago asking them to ship my items immediately or issue a full refund. Still, no response.

I apologize, but scammers tend to use the excuse of being hospitalized quite often and after a year of excuses and false promises, I don't believe them nor trusted them. You shouldn't either, but it's up to you. Just don't wait until it is too late.

    45. I can't file a claim because I payed for my order almost a year ago.

I have tried to message them on Instagram and nothing.

    46. I'm so sorry to everyone else going through this, I hope you get some form of resolution whether it's the items or compensation!!

I forgot to make an update after my last comment here, but the 'ready stock' items I ordered from MyDollection back in July of 2023 arrived at the end of November. I did get everything I'd ordered, plus an additional brush. I'm not sure whether the extra was because of the brush maker or mydollection, though. I'm glad that I only ordered those small items rather than the doll heads I was originally interested in... but I'm wishing everyone the best of luck. :(

    47. I too am in the "Ordered a Kaniboom Travel Kitty through MyDollection and lived to regret it" club.

For those who haven't seen it, here is MyDollection's lastest instagram story posted today, April 11, 2024:

    48. I have not gotten my email and that I don't see that story up anymore. Has anyone else gotten their shipping info yet?

    49. I sent an email last week and haven't gotten a reply yet. I'm not surprised and don't expect a reply for another week or two.

    50. I emailed them a month ago and nothing.

    51. I'd imagine they have tons of messages to answer to so it'll likely take some time until they get through them all. I guess we'll all just have to wait and see now, fingers crossed that everyone will either get their items or money back soon.

    52. I'm also waiting on the answer to an email for support about a final layaway payment. I sent it a week ago, so I'm expecting I won't hear back for a while. Thanks to all for sharing this information! At least I know (kind of) what's going on.

    53. I visited MyDollection's website out of curiosity and it looks like it was recently updated to list various blindbox dolls and Gem of Doll's latest release for sale. I don't really like the idea of them accepting more pre-orders when they still have so many orders to fulfill and inventory to sort.

    54. Just got message she is shipping my heads tomorrow (!) I will let you know when I get them, but that would be great news. The overall time is not unexpected for a preorder, but it was more the communication drop that worried me.

    55. I checked their website, and my 02/20/23 order was marked as shipped but I haven't received any email with the tracking number. But when I click on the order details, it shows the items as pending shipping. I doubt my items were shipped! They probably marked it like that to avoid getting another email from me

    56. I noticed the same, I know they haven't shipped my order either since I haven't paid for the shipping yet, the plan was that I'd pay it once the items are ready to be sent and they haven't asked for me to pay yet. :/

    57. My order was marked as "Shipped" as well but when I click on details states "Awaiting Shipment". No email or tracking number for me either.

I did message them on Instagram a few days ago and they told me I would get an update the next day or soon.

    58. Hmm, the site seems to be down at the moment, giving me the "This site can’t provide a secure connection" error and isup.me states it's down too. I looked up their domain status in case it had just expired and they had forgotten to renew it and found out that won't happen until 2025 but there was line saying "Updated: 2024-04-22 08:08:20 UTC" so they updated something about it just today. I'm just curious why, did it transfer hands again (or was this finally them transferring the ownership to the current person in charge) or did something else happen? :? I'm probably worried over nothing but honestly, considering everything I feel it's pretty justified to raise eyebrow over every little thing with them.

I suppose no one has gotten any updates on their orders either? :sweat

    59. All I was told via Instagram message was that the manufacturer, maydoll, gave them a release date and that they'll ship the doll once it arrives. . . This message seems a bit vague so I'm still a little bit suspicious.

I know maydoll had some issues with faulty heads so I think they're shipping the dolls at the end of April, but I'd call that more of a delay than a release date.

    60. Well this gets interesting. I had received email from a new site called umdoll.com and I was confused since I don't know this site and definitely have never joined it or given my email to them? So where the hell have they gotten my email address from?

And so I snooped around the site and found their address, No. 12, Xijing Street, Huangpu District, Guangzhou, China. Googled it up and guess what's also marked as the address for Mydollection? Although the page leading to it in Google comes up dead and redirects to umdoll page instead when you click on it (image link in case picture below doesn't work: https://i.ibb.co/Y8Z7zq5/IMG-20240423-030716.jpg) :

I'm really not sure what to think of this. It could be that they're just rebranding or it could be they're trying to restart as a "new" company since they've gotten so much negative feedback lately due all the issue. :/
