... Don't mind me y'all, I'm just making puns based off of early 90's rap and doll leggies. Anyway, my Fairyland Miwa arrived today, and I already love her! I'm still hashing out her overall direction, but I know I'm planning to blush both her ears (purchased from DreamLanddollstudio on Etsy) and legs to better match each other. Without further ado, onto the pics!


... Y'all ever take what you think will be a random photo and it turns out to be one of the best pics you've ever taken?


The first glimpse of those minty bunny legs! I was instantly taken aback by just how MASSIVE these are! The promo pics didn't do them full justice, but her paws are literally the size of my palms.


I didn't realize that she would come with this before I saw other owner pics, but she has a cute bunny tail! It came with a pre-installed magnet to attach directly to her back.

... And here's where I was having a hard time getting full pics of her without the clutter of my sewing room messing up the background, so I skipped ahead to after I swapped her eyes, found her a wig, and glued the magnets into her ears:


The sheer AUDACITY of this young lady to be SO HECKIN' CUTE.


One thing that has to be said about the size of the bunny legs- she has no problems with standing! My current plan is to blush the "furry" bits on her legs and feet to be dark indigo to match the ears, and the ears have some similar bits that I can blush in a mint color to help tie them together.

Her new eyes are by Sprouty Doll, and I ordered them together with her from DDE. I had no idea that they would end up matching her ears so well!


Overall thoughts:
Miwa has by far been the best quality doll I've received from Fairyland in a hot minute. Her head has a very slight wiggle that doesn't really bother me, but her headcap fits perfectly, and everything else seems to be in good shape (I mean she has some slight seam lines, but I'm not bothered by those on any of my dolls).

I will say for those who prefer the older CP Delf aesthetic, her head is proportionately smaller, especially compared to the length of her rabbit legs. I personally found that the addition of a wig and bunny ears helped significantly, but it's worth noting that she's definitely designed to have more "realistic" proportions than older Fairyland Dolls (despite literally being a rabbit from the waist down).
