    1. Hello all! After many years I've finally decided to return back to the doll world. I've had the urge for a while but life kept happening. I haven't been here since I was a teenager and now I'm 30. I won't lie, when FFXIV announced their collab with Volks I immediately knew I had to return back to doll world :D

      And yes, I do own Y'shtola! It was meant to be haha. I'm so out of the loop with BJDs and DD's these days that I don't know what's still around or where to get stuff from anymore, so I figured I'd hop back on DoA. So glad to see the forum still exists and is active!

      Unfortunately I can no longer collect the resin dolls, but I've grown really fond of Dollfie Dream's over the years! I'm hoping to create some male hybrids at some point.

      But yeah, that's all. Hope to be around more.

    2. I really really though about ordering her, but I didn't. I have regrets. Although if it was Estinien there would have been no hesitation.

    3. I almost didn't order her but I'm so glad I ended up getting her. I was honestly pleasantly surprised at the fact she had no human ears? Because that was something I thought a lot about lmao. I'm also so used to holding resin dolls that I was honestly how shocked how comfortable she is to have on your lap for extended periods of time haha. :')

      And omg I feel you about Estinien. I was discussing with one of my friends that Estinien 100% looks like an elf eared Delf.

    5. I definitely see it. A casual Estinien cosplay is definitely still on the table for my boy for a while now. I've always had him in white/silver hair too lol

    6. Hello fellow dusty collector! :D yeah it feels good to be officially back!!

      Ahhh if you ever do it please like me know!! :D I'm currently trying to figure out what kind of modern day casual clothes Y'shtola would wear haha. I've decided on giving her a bookish tomboy look but we'll see how that pans out. Now to decide how similar I wanna keep her to canon vs how much I wanna make her my own. The hard decision XD

    10. Welcome back, I'm in the same boat as I've been away due to life like you said!

      Y'shtola also brought me back into the hobby! I never sold my resin BJDS but haven't touched them in a long time until ordering her! I love FFXIV so ordering her was a no brander, she was my first DD. I'm hoping for more Final Fantasy dolls in the future haha

      I like the Y'shtola DD but I didn't have the funds at the time to get her. :...(
      I might get her later down the road with layaway from a 2nd hand seller but not at this moment! I have 2 other dolls that I have on layaway :sweat
      Anyways, I'm glad that you are back in the hobby and yes, DDs are sooo much lighter than resin! I collect both nowadays!
