Hi~everyone She is my new original BJD and made by LaDoll Clay. This is my big challenge of me beacuse she is 100cm tall~! Too big and hard to sculpted. >.<||| If you want to see more photos of her working process, please add my facebook.^_^ http://www.facebook.com/ruddypeach I hope you will like her.^^
She is gorgeous! I love the mature body, yet innocent face! Are her feet specially for high heels, or do you have interchangeable?
Thanks~m(_ _)m Her feet are normal shape, not specially for high heels. I specially made the high heel shoes for her.
She's beautiful! I looked at all the pictures on your blog. Did you just use normal pastels and acrylic paint for her face-up, even though she's made out of LaDoll?
*__* She's huge! I can say that for her breasts as well. XD Such a lovely doll. I love how realistic her skin and face looks.
Thanks~m(_ _)m I used the airbrush by Mr Color to finish her make-up, except the eyebow which drew by color pencil.
No~! Very hard to dry and too heavy to make when the BJD is over 60cm~~>.<||| I suggest to the beginner that "30-45cm" size BJD is easier to make.
I'm curious. Since she's a painted original, her skin coloring, does it chip around the joints or is it pretty durable paint? I only ask because i've been wanting to make a big girl for some time but cringed at the thought of casting her.
Yes, The skin color of joints were been chipped when she changed the pose. It's a chief defect of LaDoll BJD. TTATT
That's upsetting considering she's so beautiful. Though perhaps a cloth sueding might help in the long run some. I might have to experiment with this in the future. Thank you for letting me know! ^_^
She is amazing! I'm without words, I am so impressed! Surely she'll go into dollmaking history books somewhere!
"I hope you will like her" Dude! she is freaking amazing! What beautiful artwork you've made. The sculpt looks so professionally made. >_> you're so awesome! (sorry if I sound way too much like a fan girl, I just can't get over at how professionally made this doll looks.)
O M G!! She is absolutely breathtaking! I'm blown away!! Her face is simply divine, and she has a drop-dead gorgeous body! Amazing work!
She is so beautiful! Would you mind giving me some tips to make my own (smaller of course)? I've never made one before and I need help. They're just so beautiful!
That was sooooo pretty !! Gorgeous girl i say xD Though somehow i can't stop thinking how beautiful she'll look in a fancy kimono *squeals* xDD haha
She's amazing! She's has a very graceful air about her even though she's 100cm! Shes such a great sculpt! Very well done!
I'm in awe, I really like everything about this doll: the proportions are rather junoesque, but she's very delicate and elegant at the same time. In some photos she looks almost alive, it's a true piece of art. I commend you for all the hard work you clearly put into this, and for the care in posing her and creating such interesting photos. Truly an inspiring piece, I hope one day I'll be able to inspire such feelings in others as you certainly did with me.
oh my gosh she is awesome she had to have been a lot of work my goodness how long did she take you ? I just love her
Amazing job! She's beautiful and her eyes are so innocent. Her fingers also got my attention, I like her long nails on the last pic. ) Will you make her clothes? Just wondering because she's 100cm... And I was thinking did you used primer or you painted direct on the clay to make her skin? I'm planning to make my doll with LaDoll and before reading your post I had neven thought about skin color I need to make a facebook account.
OMG she's so big! I haven't got the practice yet, but I wonder if it is harder to sculpture a little or a big BJD. I think on a big one you have to take care of many more details... I like her body very much, and she seems to have a soul, cause she looks scaring realistic! I love her eyes and her face which reminds me a little on Tifa Lockheart of FF7. Big complimets for the Photos, there are really nice and if you wouldn't have written that she is made by La Doll Clay, I would have thought, she's made of resign. I'm looking foreward to see the steps of your working steps in facebook.
Due to busy for my own business & long time no see ^ ___ ^ Really appreciated for loving my girl. Huuuuu......la.......la........ ^^ /
I'm planning to casting her into Porcelain BJD..... When imagine all heavy and big plaster molds, feeling hard to do. >.<|||
wow she's enormous! such a gorgeous girl...i can see you have worked so hard on her..she really is lovely
Thanks~m(_ _)m It's my pleasure that you like my BJD's work. Now I'm making plaster molds for a new BJD.^_^
Wow ~ I never took into account how large of a doll she'd be, but that foot image really shows her size! Pretty awesome though! Have you tried making smaller BJDs?
It's my pleasure that you like my BJD's work. I have another smaller size of BJD's works, please visit my website to see them.^_^ http://www.ruddy-peaches.com
Wow I would be scare to make huge size but that is very breath taking and wonderful. Good job for very big scale doll.
Op, I don't know if you still check DOA, but I want to let you know how impressed I am. I can barely manage the bust of a 25cm doll I was planning. I can't imagine how much hard work you put into this beautiful doll
