Hobby Link Japan as it on sale for 380 YEN but since they ship from Japan, it might not be worth it. But it is Re-ment!
And I'm sorry that you're on day 214.

Also, I just checked out AjumaPama site and they have the Brownies back up! $150 still isn't too bad for a set. I do like Green-Momo outfit.

 

These little ones are so cute. I adore seeing everyone's pictures.

Lately I've been itching to get another doll this size. Arg! They are just so adorable.

I checked out the Felix website http://www.browniedoll.jp and according to Google translate, they're streamlining business and focusing on quality. The 'sugar' and 'milk' faceups look much more professional, from what I can see, nor do the outfits look sloppy and badly made. And check out the new doll 'trunk' they're shipped in o_O And for all that, the new full sets are still less pricy than a puki! I have to say, I really do love my brownies. My new HaHa arrived - I'll take pics when I get new batteries >_< - but I really love her faceup, it's rather delicate.

Oh, I should clarify. The 'new' haha I have isn't one of the new Brownie line, I got her from the MP - but of all the brownies I have, she has the nicest faceup Haven't figured out her name, personality, or even what wig she'll wear, tho T_T

 

I dont mean the molds, Zephouria. Only the look of the faces. I mean the two following.

I'm pretty sure they are, by what I read on their website.

Ruru and Yuyu face sculpts came out at the same time Pepe and Haha did. Believe me, I stalk Brownies like mad!! I'm a bit insane about them. They have their flaws, but I think they're a real marvel.

The sun was shining today so i made some pics with my girls in our garden.

 

The wigs are from Ajumapama. But i think they are the same as the Puki Puki wigs that you get at Fairyland.
I love these wigs but sometimes they are just toooo big. The dolls can´t pose so good or sit on a chair.
I´m looking for some shorter ones.

Good to here that you found what you were looking for. I hope you don´t have to wait to long.

Oh, I just stumbled upon thread three. I just thought no one was posting. (Dumb me.)
I've looked through all the new doll pics and am glad the cuties are still arriving to anxiously awaiting owners!

Since I've been "lost," my darling Jackson has arrived. She was supposed to have human ears, but they sent an elf-eared girl. That's fine with me since I love fairies and elves.
It's been rainy and even snowy where I am, so my only picks are indoor shots. But here she is! (She goes by Jackie.)



Here she's getting to know her new, big sister, Resin Lied (Monday size) Apple. They're climbing all over my sewing machine.

 

Sfbeck your Jackie is wonderful and she looks great in that outfit. I have those boots in black and white and they are just adorable! (CCC Shoes available at DDE by the way!)

 

Ahhh, they're all so cute. I hope mine arrive someday.

But hey, at least I've finally made it to 40 posts (I am not the chatty type, especially since I don't have any on-topic dolls to talk about yet!) so maybe I can start stalking the Marketplace soon.

Day 229~

I love the new case but please send my dolls first.

 

I received the ship notice from Karin this morning for my Asha (Momo) Brownie!

She placed the order on 2-13-10, therefore it was 79 days from the day of ordering to the day of ship notice. I am so hoping those who are waiting dolls will soon be getting good news too.

Soooo, since Asha was ordered smack in the middle of the Felix drama, we will now have answers to:
* Will she have an older or newer face-up?
* Will she have the short platinum stock wig or a replacement?
* Will she have anything resembling her stock outfit?
* What box/container will she have?

I am crossing my fingers for:
* older face-up
* short platinum wig
* any outfit, even nude
* original red Felix box, ha ha ha

Yeah, I know, I am lucky to be getting ANY doll at this point, let alone a box!
More than anything I am interested to see just when is the absolute end-point for getting the older Brownie versions (Karin now has some of those back up & available on AjumapamaUSA,) & when is the start-point for the new versions to begin shipping. It's all very confusing.

Trinket nearly falls head-first into an ocean of buttercream at my favorite bbq place. Bad photo due to dead digi-cam battery, but we had lots of fun anyway. : )

* 5-piece furniture set is from my local Hobby Lobby, $19.99 USD, & they also have it offered on their website, yay! I could not have found anything more perfect.
* bright pink little bunny, turtle, frog, & bear are also from Hobby Lobby. It was a great trip, lol.

 

I got my shipping notice too!!

The hands aren't coming - I had ordered the full set of option hands, and I was kind of expecting that they were going to cause a problem - and the wigs are different but they sent gift wigs as well. So, we shall see what arrives!

Winniecat, that's just horrible that you have had to wait so long.

 

I looked at this and said "HEY!!" Showed my husband, he's like "...what?" Duh! I made that!!

I'm happy you're getting your SECOND doll, but I'm pretty upset that it is day 100 and I still haven't gotten my first

i was wondering, is the sonuro company a new dealer, the old dealer? i'm still trying to figure out how these dolls are back up for sale with the bankruptcy issue and people still waiting on dolls. i would definitely consider getting one, but it seems like a big risk to start making orders??

 

Thanks, laurmann2000! I chose her basically for the wig, but as it turns out, I love the outfit, too! It was supposed to come with boots and didn't. I like the ones I bought better! Overall, I'm very happy! (I also ordered a Small Comfort body that I'm not really expecting to get.)

Congratulations on the shipping notice, G.Annie. Mine came in a "Hello Kitty" rectangular box... just a warning not to expect the Felix box. The wig was the one in the photo... it came without the metal cap, though.

I love her bedroom... too cute!

The old orders are just resolved partly.

 

With all this news flying about, can anyone say if they are going to produce the Small Comforts again? I've been holding back showing them because it's so hard to see a cute little one and not be able to get it. I have two Brownies as well. Stanley and Mangotine. They need more photos.

They don't make the moccasin resin anymore, so Mangotine is very special. She's on the right. This is a good resin comparison pic.

 

She's really cute and the outfit is fab but a I really love her hat!

I think her bedroom is absolutely perfect. All those goodies and her little dress are wonderful.

I hope we will see everyone getting their dolls now. I've written to the company in Japan asking if they will be bringing out the Small Comfort dolls again. Let's hope the answer is yes.

I got my Haha in the mail yesterday and I';m so thrilled with her! I'll post pictures later on.

Gosh, they're so tiny!!! And very snappy. It will take me a while to get used to posing them, I'm sure.

Their boxes are Simpsons boxes, blah. Worst possible boxes for me to get, but oh well. The gift "dress" is actually kind of lame, too - the socks are cute, but the dress itself is way too thick on the top to actually be a dress. I did get two extra wigs - Anzu's wearing one of them. And I'm still waiting for the hand set, of course.

 

Azami, what a cute twosome. I like the brown-eyes-with-brown-dress and blue-eyes-with-blue-dress concept! You're lucky to get gift wigs as well as the dress. The more wigs these little ones have, the better!

 

Oh look at them! They're so cute. How fun to get two at once. I currently have 4 Brownies but they all arrived at different time. They have a way of multiplying. LOL

 

It is so hard finding a good wig to fit my HaHa since her default is a little big on her. What size are they taking? 3 or 4?

 

Azami: Aww..they're so cute! Are your girls both the same molds, just different faceups? I really like that short wavy wig. I hope to find one like it some day/

I wish it would stop raining long enough to get some decent pictures. I'm absolutely in love with my new HaHa, even if she's stolen Kotoko's wig and refuses to tell me her name T_T She's very feisty and full of energy

 

I've ordered direct from Japan twice before without problems. I have written to them, but no response. I asked if they would have an English website, too.
I've written to them again just now. I was wondering... last time the site was Felix Doll, this is now Browniedoll, so I'm guessing that with the legal matters surrounding the liquidation of Felixdoll, they probably had to change names and therefore everything that was set up under Felixdoll can't be used. I should think they will be estabilishing themselves before offering to a wider audience. I hope then we will get an English website and the reintroduction of the Small Comfort babies. Will have to wait and see.

 

Yes, after looking at them for a few days, they are the same mold. Which makes me kind of sad, because they were supposed to be two different molds. I saved the stock photos, and Anzu was supposed to be human, with the round eyes (I think that's the Momo head?).

 

derilan85, most of my brownie wigs are 3/4 size... not much help!

I got word from Karin today that my Small Comfort body is being sent to me! Yeah!

 

Karin at Ajumapamausa has brownies for sale again. I ordered mine through her in december. She was so wonderfull through all the mess, and made sure I was kept informed about my order status the whole time. I will always order through her in the future.

I've got a couple of pics of my Haha. I got lucky and got her from the marketplace. She's perfect in her new home. Doesn't she look happy and comfy? That's what I really love about her face. Who doesn't want to see a smile every day.
