Alright, I have been giving Ryonai tattoos all over his body and screwed up on the back piece, and had to remove all the MSC and the tat to redo it. I removed it - and suddenly freaked out - the resin was REALLY white compared to the rest of the body!!! I nearly began to cry and tried to blend it the best I could, assuming that he had begun to yellow. He's beauty white, I knew it would happen eventually. Finally I got to the point where I was as satisfied as I was going to get, I took the MSC downstairs and sprayed it. About fifteen minutes later I took another look at it to make sure it was dry before I put the tat back down and was astounded - the resin matched up again! So, for anyone who has mr super clear gloss, be warned - it does go on a little yellow! :O
I've noticed that the yellow happens with matte MSC as well. If I goof up on a face-up and I've sprayed more than one layer, the area that I take off (blank non made up area) always ends up lighter than the other MSC'ed areas. Bizarre. I'm glad that it wasn't anything worse. ops:
wow that's kind scary and weird....O.o...I know I would freak out too. At least it all turned out alright Bailey
That's pretty ironic, since MSC is actually supposed to protect resin from yellowing [UV cut anyway].
The doll itself i assumed was not yellowed, since aie said that the resin was very white where it wasn't covered with MSC. I believe that the color of MSC is a bit yellowish.
