Hello guys! an update! since I tend to not shop on taobao etc (cos I just can't do it!) I emailed Alice's Collections, the artist (HeavyBomb) very kindly shared with me what to send to Alice. And I asked her to instruct doll family to make my body with the switch normal hue. So I am now waiting for the body to get to me and I will post photos of my beautiful Kajetano!

 

Oh yes true sorry I will edit my post to reflect that. The bodies are definitely different. I assumed the resin colors are the same.

 

@oyone DF-H and DF-A's own resin colors are also different from each other.

Did Morolab2 ever get back to you on this? I emailed them and they just replied with measurements for #1. Sahell's head circumference is 8.5in.

 

Ah they did, thank you! It took a while but they were very helpful and even took photos of all the measurements needed to make sure it was accurate, big kudos to them

when I checked the tracking yesterday it hadn’t even been processed at Heathrow but parcel force appeared today with him.

I absolutely love morolab2's heads but from what I've seen they're always on muscular 70cm-75cm bodies. Does anyone have one on a fairly slimmer 68cm body? I'm worried about the head looking too big for the body/shoulders

 

I have a 68 cm body Doll family -H. I can take a picture of any head on it) But in my opinion, bigger bodies are better for morolab2 heads)

And this is my Sahell (Ringdoll body 75 cm)

If you are interested, I can put my Metternich on a Loongsoul 68cm body? If so I can take a couple of pics tomorrow. He is currently on a Ringdoll type 3 which is kinda muscular at 70cm so will have a head swop

OK here's some pics personally I think the shoulder width needs to be wider and the height in just on cusp of the shortest this head can get away with ... this is my personal preference though and the reason why the head shares (for now) a bigger body

I put a WS Ikyung on a French White blushed Loong Soul 68cm and a French Yellow Loong Soul 73 cm. IMO he looks alot better on the 73cm body, but not too bad on the 68cm like pictured above. The resin match is off though on both accounts. I think Loong Soul could be a match for Morolab2 if you went with Rosy White for WS and Rosy Skin for NS, French White is too yellow but not bad in some lights.

 

Forgot to mention, the LS 68cm body above is the normal yellow and the head is bisque. There is a discrepancy in tone. Though not as much with the temporary Ringdoll body in normal which is quite pink... which is why I am using rollover neckline in dim lighting currently

The photos are pretty crappy, but this is my Nile on a Resinsoul bigger boy body (just for these photos).
Without the head the body is around 62cm, with the head he's 68cm.

 

For those who have heads in white, what bodies do you have? Trying to find companies that somewhat match ML2's white skin! I do have a DF-H body in mind, does anyone know how their resin colours compare?

 

I recently just found that out!! That's probably what I'll do!

Just did it! It was $85 extra so I hope the colour really does match!!

I got my Ise head 2 weeks ago and to my joyful surprise, it actually fit my leftover Dollstown18 body that was collecting dust after scrapping the planned character I had for it. I was worried it would not fit since the neck hole said it was larger than the neck of the body but in the end it was perfect

 

The resin looks to be a great match too :-) is your head the beige and the body fresh skin?

 

The head is moroBisque so yeah and the body is Oriental from 2020 :-D

Oh wow the head-shoulders ratio isn't too bad! Can I also ask what the darker skinned body you have next to it is? EDIT: I figured it out myself lolol, ballerino right?

 

No problems and no worries. I legit had to look up the name colour just to be accurate just in case because not even I remember it on the top of my head and would have just called it either Normal or like you Beige.

Late reply and yeah I was happily surprised about how good it looked on that body and yes you are correct it is the Ballerino body from LLT next to her with the Roderich head. It was fun comparing them both in terms of height. Have yet to decide if I will pair her up with him or with my Idealian75
