Unfortunately, I cant help and tell you where to buy clothes. I sew clothes myself using a pattern for Dollshe 18M (mistic) body. Perhaps clothes for 18 M will fit the size for DF-A 70 cm

@idrisfynn, for the SAHARA I use the body of Dollwings 70 cm. I reduced the neck. Oh, yes, the hands are really beautiful and the fingers are elegant.

Does anyone happen to have a Morolab head in white? I’m very tempted by Erzsébet, and I’d be putting him on a white Volks body. But I could live with normal if I knew that it was a better resin match with Volks than white? Thank you!

 

If Morolab colors are based on Switch colors then Morolab pearly white won't match Volks white. Switch rosy white has a pink undertone, while Volks is more yellow/beige.

I absolutely adore Morolab2, I discovered them a few months back during the Erzsébet pre order. I managed to snag the Metternich head and the Lycan dagger in October! I just received both a couple days ago!

 

They have a preorder soon. I think. I found out about them yesterday, but don't know how to buy, the cost, or any more information. I'm glad I found this thread to read. I hope the items aren't limited stock.

He is a gorgeous doll. He looks like he is daydreaming.

That's a really interesting look. I like it a lot. It's not normally what I like. His face up reminds me of a pierrot for some reason. He has a really charismatic charm to his face up. He reminds me of the red queen from Alice in wonderland too. It's because of the heart lips.

I can't find the average cost of morolab2 head. Does it come with a body and accessories?

I'm thinking the cost might be about $300 if purchasing the head and extra items it comes with. I looked at the hall of fame on morolab² and that's my estimated guess. Is that the average cost of morolab²? I think shipping is going to make it close to$400... this is what I'm thinking might be the cost.

I really wish I had the exact cost of the preorder coming up. I like to know all these things in advance and plan out my purchases.

Super excited, ordered 2 Sahell heads in morobisque (normal skin). Now I'm shopping around for bodies!

 

I am on the verge of ordering a Sahel head, I am in love with the sculpt, but my concern is finding a body that matches the terracotta. I know Switch are meant to be matches, but does anyone know of others? Or am I going to have to spend the next 4 months hoping that Switch do a restock on the 70cm mocha browns

 

@thegoddamnqueen DFH can match Switch. I would reach out and ask if they have mocha brown to match (I know they can normal and white but they only resin match now what they have on hand so not sure in regards to other colors). A friend of mine is waiting for a MB Switch release though and they did tell them they were planning to do one before the end of the year.

Excited to see others Sahel. I like the Seth parts, too bad you cant buy them separate.

 

ooh good to know that we might see one before the end of the year! Thats also really good to hear about DFH, mostly because even if I dont go with a body from there I was also hoping to get him some jointed hands and knowing they do the resin match will save a lot of searching I think knowing all this has pretty much solidified my mighty need to order him. The one time I tried a hybrid in the past it went terribly, but with how much more options there are these days I feel a lot more confident in its success, thanks for the info

My guys: a great color match with the adagio granado normal color. I also chose bodies with color normal from switch. Iha on dfa70 body, Ikyung on dollvings 70 body , Mettel on granado adagio 70 body.
For Sahel, I bought a ringdoll new body in normal color. I'll be able to take a picture later)

Has anyone tried them on a 75cm body or is that pushing the proportions a bit too much? I am currently tied between DF-A and maybe Granado if they have a good colour match, but if I am being honest the DF-A 75 actually has my ideal body image and proportions, but I dont want my Sahell to end up tiny head xD I ask as that body still only has a 11cm neck so I wonder if its doable

 

In a week I will be able to try on any head on a 75 cm ringdoll body RGM-5. He has a 12 cm neck and 16 cm shoulders. I want to see the proportions too. The Granado adagio 75 cm is very large and I don't think it will fit. The DF-A 70 is smaller in size than the granado adagio and I too am thinking to use it in the future)

 

Does anyone know if the morobisque color is same as switch powder beige or is it something different? I'm considering a universe doll body in normal yellow which seems like a good match for the old switch normal, but I don't know what the "old switch normal" actually is..

 

@oyone I have a 2018 switch head. I can only take a comparison photo at the end of the week... But it looks to me like the old switch is more yellow than the new morolab morobisque..
At this point there is only a comparison with the new switch

 

@GallaL thank you so much! I missed that new comparison photo, thanks for sharing! They (the new switch + mlab2 heads) look really close. If universe doll ends up being too yellow, I will probably go for a Switch or Granado body based on what others have had success with.

 

I am really hoping someone can help me who already has a morolab2 at home.

I want to commission a wig for my incoming Sahell, and since it has a 3 month processing time I was hoping to get it started sooner rather than later. The only issue is the maker needs some quite specific measurements. I did email morolab about them last week but I’m yet to hear back from them. I’ve been looking at side by sides of all their previous sculpts and it does seem the measurements I need are consistent across the different heads so I would love it if someone could help me out and would be ever in your favour

@hime nao Indeed, the heads are not significantly, but different from each other. I have 7 heads and won't be able to take measurements until after the weekend) But I would suggest waiting for the head to get the wig exactly right)

 

That would be amazing if you were able to grab measurements. If they’re consistent I may send them over to the artist, but if not I will probably wait until it’s in hand. Given that I am still having my dilemma over 72 or 75 bodies it’s not like he’s going to be all in one piece any time soon lol

 

@GallaL did you happen to get the ringdoll body yet? Curious of the resin match and head fit? I'm now considering an rgm2 body in wheat to match my Sahell head in morobisque.

 

@oyone hello! I took a quick picture with the head cover. The normal ringdoll skin color is a little lighter than the morolab. It's not saturated, but I liked the combination. I will take a better picture later)

@GallaL Wow that is a solid bod. Ringdoll sculpting is :chefkiss: Thats one beautiful boy you got there! I'm totally stoked for seeing my boy put together now. I may still go with the wheat skin and blush the head if its too dark. Thanks so much for sharing your pics!!

@GallaL I forgot to ask but out of curiosity is the ringdoll normal closer or the granado normal closer in resin match to the morobisque?

 

I thought the granado was a bit of a pink shade and the ringdoll was creamy. The closest color to normal skin is Switch))

Ok guys, I want to establish the following, and for your support I will be grateful!

I have the Metternich and Ceska Heads. Ceska has been painted now, and I am eager to get him a body, he is the Bique color, and I want to know if I order the doll family body, do I got for Normal Yellow? or Normal Pink?
At the moment the head is sitting on a body that belongs to his old shell I am specifically looking at this body Doll Parts, Doll Family - BJD, BJD Doll, Ball Jointed Dolls - Alice's Collections

I think you may be able to order DF body in Switch normal (by request). For their default color options I'm not sure but my guess would be normal yellow? There are some owners in this thread who can give the right answer.

Also unrelated but is that a snake.. genital?
