Hello! I'm currently saving up for my first doll who's supposed to be a Mori Girl. I'm looking for MSD/Slim MSD sizes in particular. Can someone give me more links to sites that sell them? Thanks! If you don't know what the mori girl style is about, check these websites out: Who are Mori Girls? Mori Girl websites: x x x
I haven't found any complete outfits I would call specifically mori, but I've seen bits and pieces on the various doll sites that sell clothing. NDoll carries several different brands of clothes, and there are some cute, woodsy things there. I got some lacey vintage-looking tights from them and mukluk style boots. Alice's Collections also carries lots of clothing. I love the mori style, myself! Most of my dolls are dressed in a mish-mosh of mori and Victorian sorts of styles. I make the majority of my own clothes, though, because I've never really found any pre-made clothes that suited the look I'm going for. Good luck, I hope you can find some things you like!
I haven't seen much in the way of full mori girl outfits for BJDs. I wish it was more popular, as my RS Mei would look fabulous in the style. I suggest trying to make some pieces and either commission or purchase other things. Good luck!
I've only found one set, I think it's from Dollmore I think... but it should be better if you find neat vintage yourself and put them together, I know you can mix and match... the Mori-style way! ^^ (earthy, nutty, brown and green, old red) are must have colors, don't forget the brown vintage boots
Occasionally Volks makes designs that lean toward that style, but very low chance I know a couple dealers that make them, but I don`t recall any MSD-sized ones (due to the fact I don`t shop around for my MSD`s) Some dealers(not sure if they ship international or sell online) I found after googling: http://outfitshoprabbithole.blog105.fc2.com/blog-category-0.html http://cottoncandysd.blog89.fc2.com/ As for standard doll stores, I think you`d have to fish around though and find pieces that work and don`t.
MuseDoll has some Mori Girl like items: http://musedoll.com/index.php The style is getting more popular, so I think more items will pop up eventually.
Iplehouse has a few pieces in earthy colors that could be combined for the style you're after. http://www.iplehouse.net/shop/step1.php?number=2200 http://www.iplehouse.net/shop/step1.php?number=1885 http://www.iplehouse.net/shop/step1.php?number=2196 http://www.iplehouse.net/shop/step1.php?number=2075 http://www.iplehouse.net/shop/step1.php?number=2261 http://www.iplehouse.net/shop/step1.php?number=1484 Hope this helps
And some more items from Bambicrony http://www.bambicrony.net/shop/step1.php?number=840 http://www.bambicrony.net/shop/step1.php?number=819 http://www.bambicrony.net/shop/step1.php?number=808
If you go to Dollmore and comb through their clothes they have a lot of mori like pieces particularly for MSDs
Ooohh I love the Mori style! I would definitely recommend Nine9Style for their wide 'Mori' selection. Also, Ajumapama has some really lovely items predominantly for MSD. It seems the Mori style is the new trend among both the BJD and the human fashion world!
