P.S. Thanks for all the useful info everyone's posted. I have one question though - can anyone explain to me the difference in size 4 and RD4? Does anybody know which would be better for a Pocket Fairy?

 

My Pocket Fairy Yoko wears Monique size 4 and it fits perfectly. I think RD4 is supposed to be a bit smaller (or, maybe it was a bit larger?) than size 4, but it's been a while since I researched Monique sizing. Either way, Yoko has two pairs of size 4 wigs which are just fine on her:

My Bella wears Ginger style in brown black, i've cut it down a little to get a more realistic lenght for "humans".




Edward wears Frankie style in golden auburn, i completely restyled it. XD

 

If the size you need isn't available, are the wigs stretchy enough to use the next smallest size, or should you go for the next biggest size? Would that be too loose? (I'm faced with this dilemma myself, so any advice on sizing would be great. ^ - ^ )

 

When I had that happen, I went for the smaller size, and it worked out very well. Monique caps tend to be on the stretchy side, and I was able to fit the smaller wig just fine.

This is a question for owners of Monique wigs that have very fine fibers (Paris, for example). I'm looking for tips on how to maintain the flyaways and unruly messes these wigs inevitably become very shortly after brushing. I love the soft feel and the beautiful styles, but they are such a pain to keep looking good! I douse them with water once in a while, and it does help; but, sure enough, in a day or two I get massive flyaways once again.

 

Lovely in black. I have to laugh that my big bad Chrom has a wig called 'Lovely.'

I'm not exactly sure what kind of monique wig I have, but the person who sold it to me told me it was a monique wig. :P It's gorgeous too! I love this wig so much.

I am trying to figure out which of the reds this wig that I purchased from Contemporary Artist Dolls a long time ago is. My guess is maybe double red?



I would like to get her a slightly different style in the same color if possible, so any help would be appreciated.

A little late to the party, but...

This is an old and horrible photo....but the middle one is Bleach Blond, the right is White Blond


I don't have a Snow White, but if it's really white, there will be a huge difference. I have a couple dolls with white hair and the Bleach and White Blonds are definitely blond next to pure white. Which is actually the color of the green-haired guy's skin XD

The biggest difference between White and Bleach blond is the texture of the hair. White blond is softer and the bleach is coarse-ish. They're the same color otherwise.

As you may notice, I never buy 9-10 wigs for my big heads, but a size smaller. It looks more natural in my opinion.

 

I only have one wig from Monique but it's one of my favorite wigs



The wig cap is so elastic that it actually fits both my male IP EID doll (9~10'' head size) and my Peak's Woods Goldie (8~9'' head size).
