Modified Poet Shirt/Peasant Blouse

I went to a SCA/Pirate Shoppe last weekend and marvelled at how the costumer had "solved" the problem of staying away from elasticized necklines and cuffs - not traditional enough for that lot, I suppose. :wink: So, I came home, got into Dollwear and modified a peasant blouse for Orin.

Here it is:



Quick and easy and I think it looks "different" in a good, bjd kinda way.

I also saw an amazing idea for "gathered sleeves" and tie cufflinks I'll discuss soon!

Thanks for your nice comment! I like the tie, as well, and the best part of the whole design is that using the drawstring in the neckline and at both cuffs like that allows the shirt to be WITHOUT any closures or elastic and yet still have a gathered look! And you gotta love that! The little eyehooks and snaps and such are elimated as the neck can be pulled open far enough to go over his head and hands.
