I ordered a 'clear blue black' 6cm Chibihana.

I do not know if it will be glittery. I just went with the default choice for that color on Etsy. I am sure whatever she sends me will be interesting and fine.

Did you order opaque green or clear green? The green is a really nice color.

I'm curious about these dolls - my friend showed me the crow last night and I almost bought one on the spot! If black resin had been available I might have. my two big reasons for pausing were I can't decide on color (and I have three other pet dolls on order), and I had never heard of her until last night, so it's nice to see this thread.

 

VampireAngel13, you should message her and ask her for black resin. I bet she might do it.

Oh man, i'm so tempted by the Mantis doll (I started keeping preying mantises last year so it's super appealing to have a bjd one). Sadly Etsy's new 20% vat charge adds a big chunk of money so that's very off putting as feel I can't quite justify the £30 vat that Etsy wants to charge on top of the doll and shipping
Does anyone know if they sell anywhere else?

Aww thanks! I don't have facebook but found her over on Twitter. Sadly they have messages turned off there so doesn't look like I can contact her to see if she does direct sales which is a shame

Ahh, I really curious how your plans for your dolls work out! It'll be interesting to see detailing done on such small dolls

 

You could always message her on etsy even if you're not buying directly through there.

 

I've tried but the message keep failing to send so think they may have messages switched off there too. Also i'm not sure if there is a rule on Etsy about discussing sales off site as it's a real no-no on Ebay so don't want to cause trouble for the seller if that's the case

Ooops! I see what you are saying! But, I do not think that their messages are off on etsy. I have "spoken" to her through etsy. I think: Try again.

 

I brought a Dollfie Dream head on layaway from another seller that was listed on Etsy, and we set it up directly through dm's, so I think it's okay.

 

My little doll arrived today. Oh my god, it is fabulous!

It came with a certificate of authenticity, a treat, and a charm. The blue-black color that I ordered is magical. I could not be happier.

I ordered the crow! I found he was available in transparent black and decided that was close enough!

Ooh, Miss Nekotaku has a little sale going on so i've ordered a mantis as the sale helps reduce the extra tax cost. I've ordered a white one with transparent wings. I plan to paint it with green to pink gradient stripes that are loosely based on my Spiny Flower mantis

They do have a super cute style that works well for the insect and arachnid dolls

 

OH that sounds gorgeous! I think even a cute spider is too spidery for me, but somehow despite being an arachnophobe, I ADORE a mantis. And my sister is a lifelong bug-lover, so I had to show her, too...

My crow has been finished and is getting shipped tomorrow!! I'm so excited! I may have to finally blush all my corvid bjds.

oops, she just put a deinonychus in her store, and I ordered it I think half an hour later max XD It should be roughly the right size to play with my mature 1/6
and while I was there I also got a crow as a pet for my 1/4 XD gotta make the best of the shipping fee!

 

Looking at her dolls is so inspiring ;o; I'll just be over here dreaming of making my own doll designs into reality hehe

I love the amount/variety of birds she has. :3 Just because there's not enough bird dolls in the world! They're so cute, I'm very tempted... but must be good. o_o; I do love me some bird dolls though.

 

I looove the little deinonychus, It's got feathers and everything. It's definitely been added to my list to buy. It will be a fight between my DollLeaves Laura and my Frappzilla Blooms to see who claims it as their pet dino, lol.

 

I got my crow today! it's so cute! way more joints than I expected, his toes are jointed!

 

I have one of her cute little ammonite dolls, and I bought a Baby Hastur for a friend last year who is very into the Lovecraftian mythos. They're awesome! I really want a bunch of her spiders too.

 

I love MissNekotaku! I'm supposed to be saving money because I'm moving, but aaaaahhh I want one of the resin parasaurs! Parasauropholus has been my favorite dinosaur since I was a kid, and it's so affordable!

My roommate: You want to buy a resin dinosaurs but you won't let me buy this bag?
Me: Yeah but you already have a lot of bags. I have zero resin dinosaurs!

 

That's a really good point. You should totally get the dinosaur!

 

I broke down last night and ordered a Pserhîa mermaid in skin with a transparent blue tail. I think what really got me was the tiny size. Thanks for posting this thread because I would never have known about and added half a dozen more dolls to my wishlist. lol

 

Sorry for the double post but my little merbaby arrived end of last month. I haven't done anything with it yet but I think I'm a little intimidated by painting something so tiny, I mean they fit pretty comfortably in my Resinsoul Mi's hand.
I haven't taken any photos yet, but I do have the pic she shared with me just before shipping which makes it look like twice or more its actual size.


How am I going to paint such tiny features?

i'd get a 000 size modeler's brush and some TAMIYA COLOR plastic model paints in the colors you require.

a bottle of 91% or purer Iso Alcohol will clean up Acrylic, water-based paints such as these, wet or dry,
and a set of fine-tipped, cosmetic Q-Tips will enable you to clean-up and true your paintwork with fine precision...

 

I just got normal alligator color green. XD He's going to be alligator Loki so I wanted to keep it somewhat natural. Though, it was a hard choice between the opaque and the translucent.

Payday is in just under a week so after I figure out my "fun money" budget if I have enough to do it I may have to. Plus they'd be a lot easier to paint/customize than my little mer-baby.

 

I just noticed that Miss Nekotaku has added a little pumpkin critter (Pumptorokin) to their lineup for spooky season, so I , still bummed that I couldn't get their little pumpkin seedlings last year, of course had to get one . They had one in stock, in the traditional pumpkin colors with black on the inside of the head, and I just bought him. He'll be my first Miss Nekotaku doll and first 3D printed doll in general, I'm really curious to see how he'll be in person.

 

He's adorable! Love that he comes with a little lantern to put in his head. Please post pics when he gets here.
I'm still a little intimidated by my mer-baby but I'm sure a lot of that comes from just how tiny it is. I'm hoping funds will be better next month and I'll be able to order my Mycotæ which I think will be a little easier to handle.

He's here already And little pumpkin baby brought along a little freebie friend! I didn't order anything other than Pumptorokin, so finding this little Astrafleura in the package, even if it's clearly a B-grade/test print/prototype (different eye shape and no muzzle) was a nice surprise^^.

In one sense I'm extremely impatient in the other sense it's okay if he takes his time since I wouldn't be able to work on him right away.

There are quite a few of their dolls I feel that way about and the spider keeps creeping on and off of that list. lol

Sorry for double posting but I woke up to a shipping notification and picture of my little mush dragon and I'm so excited! Hopefully the post will be nice and he'll have a safe and short trip to me. He's just so perfect and I can't wait till he gets here!
