Here I was so tempted, but I'm definitly a two-piece toso girl. The three pieces are better for mobility, but don't thrill me for the asthetics.
But that price is lovely. *grumbles*

Is there anywhere to see a full photo of the male [Thunder] body from the front?

 

There aren't any up anywhere that I can find, cheshiretiffy. At least, not yet. I'm excited about this boy body! I've already spoken to Laura (the admin over at Lost Angel), and they're going to be releasing the body alone (no head) this coming week. I plan to buy one ASAP, in NS. I'll be able to give a review of the body when it arrives, but no idea how long that will take.

 

Wow I like the male body a lot, curios what it will look like with other heads!

 

If they sell the body on it's own, I plan to get one girl and one boy in SNOW. I'm curious about the snow color and I've wanted to do a pair of white dolls, so this is perfect! I'll post pics when they come.

 

I'm definitely interested in the male body. I would just love to see some pictures showing off the whole thing-- as a few have already stated. I like what I can see so far though!! ^__^

Is that pic of the girl in the snow skin? It looks like BBB NS might be a close resin match, if so.

 

Dude, awesome boy doll. So far, all of the boys I've been able to find have been very feminine. Dollzone's Hid is the most masculine I've found, and even he is still very girlie. There is Souldoll's Chiron, but WOW expensive!

This new Thunder doll is very masculine and in a very affordable price range. Yay Lost Angel. I hope the business succeeds and continues to make dolls.

I'm waiting for owner pictars of these dolls, especially the skintone comparisons, since I know Luts' skintones tend to be all over the place...

I wonder if they'd listen requests? Because I'd really want this body for my floating pinkywhite head...

 

The white skin is pure white, no pinkish tint.

 

Hmmm-- I may keep my eye on any possible GO's for these guys. :3

 

Mangotree, are the dolls both exactly 60cm tall, or are they around 60cm tall? I ask because it looks like they're slightly different heights in the pictures. I just wonder what their exact heights are, or their heights from shoulders to floor when they're standing (that would be the best measurement).

 

The height is from top of head to floor. The boy is 61cm, the girl is 60cm tall exactly.

Hmmm... I agree with Kiyakotari--something looks a little off. :< I would LOVE to see the white skin.. Curious as to how it may match Crobi, Soom, or DIM MNM. Anyone going to be doing a GO?

I really adore the boy body! Nice to see a 60cm boy with some meat on them bones! And I am also delighted that he does not have obscenely long legs, and that they have such delicious muscle definition!

 

I don't know if there's much point to a GO for these guys. The shipping fees are the lowest of any company I've ever dealt with, for 60cm dolls (or 45cm dolls, for that matter)!

 

I have to agree, Love that boy body. Nice muscling and definition. Just wondering how his NS color looks with a NS bobobie head. I like the fact that he looks more like a young man and less like a boy. But I would also like to see from head to toe the whole doll. As it is the clay models look like "KEN" from Matel. OKAY so I 'm a PERV... I would like to know what he looks like.

That's not clear, actually. It seems the dolls will ship from China, but the website is plainly geared toward the US market, and all the measurements are being given in inches, not centimeters (which is kind of a pain - cm is standard for this hobby, and much more accurate, as evidenced by the fact that both Thunder and Lightning are listed as being "24 inches" tall, but Mangotree has said that Thunder is actually 61cm and Lightning is 60cm ).

Is it just me, or is the Thunder head prettier as a clay model? There is something about those blue eyes and eyebrows. Like his eyes are set too far back in his head or something. 16mm eyes. I wonder how he would look with a different size? Or maybe some eyeliner!

I like his expression but I definately need to see owner pics before making a decision on him. I know I'll get his body, but I'm not sure about his head yet. We shall have to see.

 

I just ordered and paid for a Thunder body in flesh tone (NS). No head, just his body. I can't wait for him to ship! I'll be sure to share pictures and such when he arrives.

I wonder what exact eye size fits them. The ones in their pictures don't look like a good fit at all. Still the bodies look great - especially the male one. I can't wait to see owner pictures!

 

The good news is that they already shipped my boy body!

The bad news is that they shipped him using DHL.

I get charged an arm and a leg for customs from that company for some reason. Plus the last time I ordered a gift for my father it was damaged. It would of cost too much to send back just to get more customs on it so he kept it.

I hope it goes well this time... I really hope my girl body is okay.

 

I just placed an order for Thunder with snow skin (WS). Depending on the resin match I may purchase a luts delf head WS for the body. Won't know until he arrives.

Hmm. I can't seem to find my given order number on any DHL tracker I have never gotten anything by DHL, so I'm not sure even if I'm using the right tracker. X)

Oh not DHL... They're terribly unreliable for home deliveries. I've had so many problems with them in the past.

 

None - I've also been unable to get the number to work, and I've tried the DHL sites and www.track-trace.com. I even tried UPS and USPS, on the off-chance it would work, and no go!

I really, REALLY hate DHL.

I like the body, I hope they come out with more human girl heads, Annie is nice but too smiley for me.

 

concisdering ordering the boy body but I wonder what the resin will match...anyone who is getting one will you let us know?

oh and ya, DHL sucks for dolls. BBB use it to ship my Mini girl and she came to me folded in half stuffed into a tiny size box! What the hell!!! DHL had opened her and repacked her I guess 'cause the box was all cut up and re taped. Sorry for the rant...lets hope your boys fair better.

 

I really like those bodies (and their prizes... ^^; ) Someone who ordered NS body, I would love to see some comparison pictures to Crobi normal skin or Luts real normal skin I might want the boy body for my future Yeon-Ho.

 

I got my lost angel body today and she's great!

So! It took onlycouple of weeks to get. Fast!

And I took couple of pictures with her

And btw, the Iplehouse is little yellower in reality than in the pictures even though they seem to be the same in pictures. But in reality, that&#8217;s not the case. For somereason, my camera doesn&#8217;t see them as different. The closest colour to Lost angels is bobobie&#8217;s ns, but it&#8217;s little bit different. Others are quite much more yellow than Lost angel. So this is quite pink resin.

And couple of body pictures in here:





She stands and sits really nicely. I haven&#8217;t tried poseing her, because she seems to be little loose. But I believe after sueding and stringing, she should pose quite nicely. She has double joints in elbows but not on her knees. The body is actually very pretty much prettier than in the pictures!

I don't know about DIM resin, since I don't have any here, but I just received a boy body in the Lost Angel NS/"flesh" skin tone. I'll get pictures up soon. So far, here are my initial impressions:

Resin: A bit plasticky in comparison to my Dollstown/"new" Dollshe resin (only one I've held it up to), but certainly not low quality. I'd say the finish is matte. Seams have all been removed, which was a nice surprise.
Stringing: Came very loosely strung. I tightened him up a bit, but the way he was strung is also very awkward (arms not separate from body/legs, etc), so I'm going to have to take him apart completely to fix him.
Posing: Above average, and with a little work, I think it could be very good. His torso moves fairly smoothly, with some tendency to pop out in the waist, but is better than many other dolls I own/have handled. The legs are a bit kicky, but that's easily fixed with some wire (I prefer my dolls wired in at least the legs, anyway) or hot-glue sueding in the knees and hips. He has a good range of motion in almost all his joints (ankles, not so much). I think that restringing him and adding wiring to his legs and arms, possibly some hot glue sueding in his torso, would really give him a lot of stability.
Sculpt: The muscle definition in the sculpt is excellent, and the lines are smooth and have a very finished quality. I love that his proportions are more masculine than most of the few other "muscular" male doll bodies on the market. He definitely has a "stocky" feel to him. I did note that his hips/waist are thicker than those of most of my other male dolls, and I had trouble finding pants that would fit both over his thighs and around his waist (several would do one, but not the other). Also, the placement and size of his genitals made it harder to fit pants on him. He's very well endowed, as male dolls go.

I do plan on replacing his hands, and possibly his feet. The hands I'll be switching out for a pair of Senior Delf boy hands when I restring him. I don't know what feet I'll put on him, but I don't really care for the limited range of motion in the ankles caused by the joint structure of the feet he comes with. If I can get a pair of Dollstown 15Boy feet, I might use those.

I haven't taken any measurements, but I suspect he's actually a bit shorter than the 61cm we were told (which thrills me, because I wanted him to be short).

Overall, I'd say this is a great body, especially for a first-time company, and definitely worth more than the asking price, even more so with the sale. I'm very pleased with him. I think I may have finally found a body that will work for Jian Yuan in the long run.

I am getting the WS body. They are shipping it out tomorrow. I will be sure to put up pictures of it. I won't have any other bodies I can compare it to though.

 

Since you have both, I was just wondering-is the resin at all similar to Bobobie's? I really dislike theirs, and it's really the deciding factor of whether I buy one of these bodies or not .

Also, could somebody please provide neck measurements for these bodies?

Lovehaze, Actually, that handpart is the only one that is still normal coloured. ^__^; I dyed th rest of his body so I can't compare it troughly. It is bit the same, but there's a difference still.

I'm very glad you said all of that about the boys. I really hate how many of the boy dolls out there have very small waists. Men do not have small waists and should be more stocky. Just a personal preference. I really need to see a DIM MM resin shot. I not so hot on Thunder's head and would want another so resin/size matches would matter. But you really can't beat the price. Can't wait to see pics.

Do I understand correctly, SDF NS resin matches Lost Angel's?

 

No, it doesn't. Well, that's not entirely true. I have three different sets of SDF NS boy hands, and all three are different colors. One of them actually matches the Lost Angel "flesh" tone resin quite well. The other two don't match it very well at all. SDF resin is, like all of Luts' past resin colors, very inconsistent.

I'm just not a stickler for perfect resin match, is all. I like it when I can get it, but I'm not going to cry over it when I can't.

 

Can someone share some of the snow pics if they have one? I can tell the NS is kind of pink and want to see if the snow is creamier or "paper-white".

Wow, have you guys seen the MSD male body??! It looks so masculine and mature!

The MSD girl body looks weird and Bobobie-ish.

 

Hmm. The torsos on the MSD bodies looks really oversized in proportion to their legs (though the girl is worse than the boy). I don't know if that's the angle of the photos or an actual issue with the sculpt, but it doesn't appeal to me.

Anyway! Here are a few (crappy) shots of my Lost Angel boy body, as promised. The head is a Seimei head from Aeon of Dive. Also, note that I reshaped his wrists a bit with hot water (they were ovals, not round) and switched his hands out with some Senior Delf hands, so those hands are not the Lost Angel ones. The resin doesn't match for the head or the hands, but I'm not a stickler for that and I'm content. I'll probably blush the body a bit to help.

I'll be ordering the 60 cm girl body in the next day or two in WS. Will post pics along with Soom NS and Dollmore NS resin comparisons (even though the body is WS, Dollmore resin is very pale, so I'm hoping for a match!)
