I saw it too. I don't think we need to worry about info leaking; hijacking usually has to do with IPs and URLs, not the content of a site.

Don't go to the site right now, it may be full of malware.

I've just e-mailed Miro. If the mail doesn't bounce back to me right away it will probably arrive at Miro and not the hijackers.

i just went to visit the miro site and found the hack message! how weird!
wasnt they hacked before when they were called lost angels? which is why they changed their name?

In the mean time the Mirodoll bodies are tempting me to get more dolls...

Lol - I already did. I bought a Dollzone SD girl (25% discount because they wil be discontinued) and a head. For the head I bought a Mirodoll body. Now the Mirodoll body has been send and should arrive within the next two weeks (does anyone know which courier Mirodoll uses?)... But I heard the Dollzone head might not arrive before march 2014...
So my grant temptation will be not to buy this body another head (Supia? or DIM)... I have a little money again in a month...

What I should do is dress the dolls I have at home and finnish them before buying even more dolls...

 

So far they have used EMS I think it's called and it's been about week shipping to me once the doll is ready. I'm in the USA.

 

Update: I got a reply to my e-mail from a few days back, from when I noticed the site was down; they confirmed that it's all fixed now.
I did get a bounce on a mail I sent after that first one, so at some point the entire system was down. Others may get their mails from that period bounced back today or over the next few days. Just send your mail again if the questions in it are still valid.

Cyado, oh I feel for you! I do so hate having a body with out a head, any head! And to have it headless for so long, that horrible!

I do believe mine come from Miro by EMS. It should take a week but if it's stopped for customs in the Netherlands it will take an extra week.

Of course having the body does mean I can make it clothes. I plan to do nothing else this week then spend time making clothes/doing face-ups and making wigs etc for my dolls.

And a DIM Marcelina head should only take about 6 weeks to arrive here.... And TP also has a lovely head in stock...

Another question: could a Mirodoll body wear the same clothes as an SD Fdoll girl body?

 

I never have any luck with DHL...

I have the large bust MiroWoman and she seem to be the perfect average size for SD girls, with the exception of very tight clothing around the breast area. But mostly is all fits. This includes boots.

Cyador, yay for dolly time! Having the body to make clothes is a huge advantage. Can't wait to see your Marcellina Heads usually ship out pretty fast, I hope you get her soon!


One question to those who have swapped out Miro hands: Which hands fit the Miro wrists (once they've been "rounded")?

 

I have heard that angell- studio's hands fit and match resin wise. Someone plese correct me if I am wrong. Since I am saving for a wack of nhands to change with my incoming mirodoll girl.

I want to shell a really important male character of mine. I found the perfect clothes for him, from Dollheart. This set right here for 70cm guys.

I see the measurements are siiiimilar to the Dollheart measurement chart for SD70 guys.

Do any of you have Dollheart on your 70cm guys?

Painless Silver, thank you, I'll check them out. Right now I've got a pair of Iple option hands on her (haven't modded the wrists yet, they're just sitting on top of the joint), resin match is close to perfect, mobility's a lot better than her defaults and size is okay ... slightly smaller would be nicer, but these will do for the time being.

 

I got recently a msd body in black resin, and was full of white sanding marks..so are they sure that the color runs all thru the resin?

when black resin is sanded some times it will leave a white like mark, i found that with my armour resin cast in black by boy and girl. i wet the area and i used a human finger nail buffer block on the shine side and i buffed mine up a little which helped. not sure if it would do the same with yours or if your issue is the same until i see a photo but i found that worked really well on my resin armour

I didn't tried the nail buffer, i've tried to wash the body and then i applied some body lotion, then washed again to remove the oil/grease residue, the white areas seems less visible but still visible.
Don't know what caused this, can be gates removal, or seam lines removal, anyway isn't an issue anymore cause i've painted the body with interference powders, got some time ago from Crobi, and now these areas are just little visible, you would not notice if you don't know that are present since the start.
So i don't have any piccies, cause i've just painted the body

 

Hmmm...I don't think I've posted since my body came in. The feet/ankles bothered me at first, but with clothes and shoes on, it's no problem at all. I'm not crazy about his elbows, but Gunner isn't crazy about shirts, so I guess I'm just going to have to learn to live with that. The hands seem big, but proportionally they really aren't. I think I'm going to boil-reshape the fingers into a more relaxed, partial curl and I think they'll look fine then. :3

 

I just ordered 3 pair of shoes from Miro's shoe sale. I have hopes that two pair will fit my Impl-Idol boy.

 

Woaw Raesha..your hunk looks amazing! I'm thinking either to make hands in more relaxed shape, but overall i'm fine with its, sincerely are not that cute for mirodoll girl SD body, but works fine for man and boy bodies.

 

Stopping by in hopes of finding current news. My mirodoll search led to a "decline to show the web page" tonight -- they have a bit of my money, and I haven't heard from them in a long time. I don't mind so much the wait, just want to be sure they will be able to get to my order one of these days. ? -- I read the past news about the hacking, and then it seemed they were getting on with their shipments. I'll keep poking around, but if someone sees my inquiry and could fill me in, I'd appreciate it. I've had some surgery and still have a couple more to go before the end of the year. So I wasn't rushing them. But I don't want to lose my $250 deposit.

The page opens fine for me. I ordered one body in September and received it within a month. They mailed me when one pair of the shoes I ordered was not available and refunded me for those. Nothing but good experience.

I think that if you mail them you will have an answer within 24 hours?

 

I emailed them a question Saturday and got an answer a few hours later.

I'm a bit tired sincerely by Mirodoll communication at the moment, i've got the first half of my order at least three weeks ago, still a resolution for some flaws and mistakes about special colors i've request is pending, but they didn't ship yet the second half of my order which is pretty annoying, also i discover from here that someone got recently a reply which i found pretty tiring. Sorry for the rant.

 

Ahhh I finally got my Mirodoll body (secondhand) in the mail! I'm so excited, you guys, he's perfect! Totally perfect! (for what I wanted, anyway)

So I know it's been talked about to death but... Mirodoll boys are really big, uh, ALL over... How have you guys been coping with that in the pants department? I have him in some TTYA sweatpants right now and it's borderline pornographic haha

 

The MiroMan's accoutrements aren't exceptionally big; my DiM Love size V2 boy has bigger. And so has the Dollshe 'old' body.
As for dealing with it, I just redesigned my basic pants pattern to be a little bit more roomy down there!

 

I've seen around that Miro does custom colors and I was wondering how that works. I can't find any info on their site about it. Also, how reliable is their color matching? And is there a spam thread for miro? I'd like to see more pics of their 60cm boy heads before I decide if I want one of 'em, but I can't find a thread in the requests or database. Thanks for the help!

Luciana Jellyfish i've tried custom colors with them and well it ended up to having 4 bodies in completely different colors than what i've asked.
On my side i'm still waiting that company dares to let me know if my order is finally on shipping....

 

Luciana Jellyfish, for resin matching you should just contact them directly and make the request. I advice you to send them a color sample in the mail. Don't rely on a color you see on a digital picture; their monitors may display it differently.


$avage, did you send them an actual physical sample?

 

I'd like to know that as well, since I'm planning a custom coloured body for a Realskin Iplehouse head ...

Actually me and $avage combined both of our orders, to save on shipping fee. Anyway Mirodoll sent to us their resin samples and we chosen the colors among its, it's something truely discouraging that they were not able to replicate any of the colors from their own resin samples.

 

As $abbatha mentioned we have choosen resin colors from MiroDoll resin samples, we have payed of course shipping fee to get home the samples but MiroDoll fails to did the same resin colors that i've go home, even Burnt sugar and their old tan turned out in a different shading, imo is better to order simply from their resin colors to avoid disappointments...

 

I remember now ... that's really annoying. :-/

 

I decided to go with white skin and I'll dye it myself. I realized that if I got one of their heads I was going to need to do a LOT of modding on it anyway to make it look like i want, which would defeat the point of having it custom colored. I'll eventually get a head from one of the places with a sculpt closer to what I want and then dye the body and head together post mods. I just couldn't pass up on the body sale.

 

Luciana i've seen some piccies of people using tamiya color spray for plastic with good results on resin, you can see if there is the color you're in need

 

so. from what I understand it is possible to send them a sample and they will attempt to make a doll in matching resin? That's amazing!

 

yup as far as i know Sicktress have her Soom dia head sprayed in tan and matched miro body, i am planing to do the same with my Dolshe saint head so once i will get the body i will let you know if they matched it succesfully *crosing fingers* i was ordering him trough go and they should get my sprayed resin sample so it should be easy to match
