MIO - waiting on order for months, MIO not responding!

    1. Hi I am hoping someone can help me, I have ordered from MIO back on the 1st and 2nd of September and paid in full $300.00 USD = 464.00 Aussie dollars, for 4 pairs of Jeans for my Narae girls,
      Now on the Shipping schedule and Tracking number it has My name and My tracking Number, it is showing that it was sent on the 6th November , Now if I go to Korea Post to check the tracking Number , it says unknown Number,
      I have been trying to contcact Mio now through the order page ( as I can't find any other way to contcat her ) to see what has happened and I am not getting any answers at all and it has been 6 days.
      Does anyone know another way to contcact her, at the Moment I am very upset :...(, and I doubt I will Ever buy from her again, this is very bad customer service :evil:. I tryed to put a dispute in at paypal but it has gone past 45 days.
      I Just want to know what has happend to my Clothe's.

      Can any one Help
       
    2. did you try your own country's tracking system? I know once a package to the US gets off the plane the tracking from Korea doesn't work so well and I track it with the US postal service.
       
    3. I'm very sorry this has happened to you and $300 is a lot of money. ( take deep breaths @.@ ) I've had an order or two from DOLLMORE and from other places as well where the tracking did not work at all. Sometimes, the post office does not do a good job with scanning the tracking number in their system so there will not be any info about your package.

      Hopefully you'll receive it within this week if she did send it? There's still 2 days left. :C

      Yes, also, try to use your own country's website.. sometimes it works there instead if they do remember to scan it.. I've had tracking numbers not working at ALL though..
       

    4. Thanks, the Tracking Number isn't even showing up on the Korea Post it says no such Number check again .

      Thanks 300.00 usd = 464.00 Australian dollars is a lot of Money , My Hubby was watching me last night and noticed what I spent the money on he couldn't beleive that amout of Money on Jeans for my Dolls I thought the same thing, but the other items all sent out the same day arrived by the 9th or 10 of November
      that is 10 days ago.
       
    5. I heard sometimes Mio puts up a tracking number but gets delayed in shipping them out(but she also sometimes puts the wrong number in). She may have poor customer service, but you will definitely get your package. I hope tracking shows up soon and if you have posted a question about it on her website, that she replies soon.

    9. Have you tried checking through Aust Post? Once the items leave Korea, they can't track it anymore. Go to the Aussie Post site and try your number there. Other than that, good luck!

      I have sent her an Email today via her contact details here, she put the tracking Number up 16 days ago, and she still hasn't responed to the messages. :(

      Does anyone Know another way to contact Mio, she is not answering her web page, I have Pm'd her from here. it has been 10 days since I asked a question and still no answer , I am getting so upset :(
       
    11. Thanks I have sent her an Email and will keep my fingers crossed, as it is now 21 days since the tracking number went up and still nothing .

    13. I hate it when sellers don't communicate with their customers, especially when you send them an email and they totally ignore it. All you can do is wait or keep sending her millions of emails until she writes you back.


      I entirely agree with you. Mio is outrageously expensive and her clothes are not worth the money or the time you have to wait. I participated in a Mio group order a year ago. Items were shipped more than 6 months later and when I got my package, there was an item missing! >.< and on top of all that, the buttons from the pants I ordered did not work. Now, I have to use safety pins on a $70+ pants :|

      Expensive clothes, bad communication, slow shipping and bad quality = MIO

      I will never buy from her again, either.
       
    14. Mio is notorious for being slow and for dropping off the face of the earth for months. My friend and I also ordered in the September ordering period and we haven't even had anything shipped yet. I was really annoyed when she had opened up a new ordering period in the beginning of November. :|

      My guess is that she probably didn't even ship the items and just put up a temporary tracking number. My last order the tracking number on her page for me changed after the first tracking number wasn't working and it turns out she had shipped it out a lot later. I love her clothes but I hate her customer service.

      Hope everything works out and you get your clothes or a response soon. :|

      I am not looking forward to the jeans I am Getting from her, I am already to just sell them, when and if I get them.

      I have to agree why open for more orders if you haven't finished the last ones.
      I hope you get your item soon also, it is just so depressing and makes me mad when they dont reply .
       
    16. I'm glad to have come across this thread as I was tempted to buy some MIO jeans for my incoming Lily - I doubt I will do this now as it doesn't seem as though you're getting a professional service especially when the clothing is at the 'high' end of the scale for doll clothing!

      I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience with MIO so far Peppa, I really cross my fingers that at least someone gets in contact with you soon and with an apology.
       
    17. I think you might have the wrong impression about Mio - it's just her in the "company" if you will. Mio is just one girl, she doesn't have people to contact her customers for her or manage her website or anything. This doesn't excuse the terrible customer service, of course, but I just thought it should be made clear that she's doing it all on her own.

Brennil Funnily enough I was going to mention you in that isn't HDS a one woman business and you found the time I remember to answer my queries, and very quickly too? :) I just would have thought that although she is probably very busy, she would check her mail/pm's every now and then surely?
       
    19. I'm sort of in a weird position in this discussion, it's true. I love Mio's clothing, I think she's very talented and her designs are frankly stunning. I've bought many things from her since 2006 or whenever it was that she started selling internationally and I've never gotten a piece that was less than well made and perfectly fitted.

      Her customer service is awful. That's a fact. But I have a lot of sympathy for her, and I think that a lot of her troubles stem from her desire to please - she never says no to anyone about remaking old items or adding to orders or even a few times I've seen people order when she's closed for ordering and she accepted the order!

      Again none of this excuses the bad service and people who've been waiting forever and been given wrong tracking numbers and messaged and emailed her without response (and I've been there) have every right to be upset. I think the bottom line is that her clothing is good enough for some people to accept a lot of headaches to be able to buy it.
       
    20. I agree with you there that her clothing IS beautiful and contemporary - sounds like maybe she could do with a hand! From my point of view, thanks for shedding some light on this, if items do actually arrive, albeit a bit later than one would wish for, than it would be worth it in the long run to have very well made doll clothing.

      I've worked in retail and customer services in an office and have had experience dealing with complaints - most of the time people seem willing to accept mistakes/delays etc as long as they know about it. Oh well, lets just hope she is ok then.

      And yes, I completely agree with Brennil.
      Mio is very sweet and while she tries her best to please some customers, she may irritate other customers in the process.

      peppa, I think once you get your jeans, you will love them - especially if they are slim mini size.

      I need you all to know I am more than Happy to wait for the clothes and I will judge how good or Bad they are when and if I get them.
      Why I started this was she will not answer my question or my Emails and I wanted to know if anyone knew of another way to contact her, she has put up a tracking # and a date they were to be sent the 6 or 8 of Nov now that is 3 weeks ago, and I still have not heard from her.
      I know she is only one person and I know she is probly under pressure, but sorry to say she has put her self under pressure she should not have taken on a new order (which she has and just closed) untill she has finished all the old ones.
      another one of my concers is that you pay first ( that ok) and she does say that the clothes can take up to 3 months ( thats ok) but then you get a tracking Number to say your items are shipped 2 months after you have ordered and paid, then NOTHING, and you can't contact her she wont answer her email or her own thread, it's to late to put a Claim in to Pay Pal as the 45 days have passed, so what do you do, what can you do BUT WAIT :(

    27. Mio does simply stunning things, which I think is well worth waiting for. She has an unrivaled sense of style, and her things are so well made!

      She does have a tendency to take on more work than she can handle at a time - something which is very well known. If a customer is unaware of that fact they can quickly find out by some DoA research.

      Not everyone is left waiting forever, though - when I last ordered from her her answers were lightning fast and the clothes shipped out very fast indeed! The jeans were in fact still wet from the distressing process when I got them.

      I did check her out on DoA and I read through her web site, I do understand that she is slow, I also understand that is really only takes no more than 5 minutes to respond to an email, as for my First experiance shopping with MIO all I can say it will more than likly be my One and Only.

      And I do want to add to what Brennil was saying, that while I am upset that she's taking so long and that she opened up another ordering period I still love her clothes and know that I will be pleased with what I receive and that I will order from her again. Which of course doesn't excuse the fact that you don't know what is going on with your order peppa but I do hope that when you receive them you will be pleased with the clothing and enjoy it.

      I don't think that anyone has ever not received their items, even if some people have gotten the wrong one and even then I have also seen her try to rectify the situation. I know it's very frustrating for a first time buyer though.

      I hope she replies to you soon.

      I am going from Upset :( to just so MAD :evil:.
      I really dont care how good her clothes are, I won't be keeping them when and IF i get them, she has given me such a bad experiance.

    33. I have e-mailed and posted on her website without a response. I placed a good sized group order with her back in August and she said she thought it would be a month and a half to two month wait. I'd e-mailed her in mid-September with a general question and didn't hear back. I e-mailed her for a status update at the end of October and posted on her website a couple of weeks ago, but haven't heard anything. I feel especially bad because I have other individuals waiting on our order. I understand her incredible quality taking time, but I wish she'd respond to questions. I hope that everything is okay with her!

      I'm totaly with you about communication...I have no problem waiting for things as long as you know there will be a delay of some sort.

      I have been ordering from Mio since 2007. She is more than happy to comminucate when she is asking for your money. And after that she looks like she can not make the time to answer anyones questions. I know Mio is doing all the work by herself...but it would be nice if she could take a little time out of her day every couple of days to answer questions.
      Lets face it, it's her job, right? I believe this is Mio's fulltime job, making doll clothing.

      Mio's style and quality are GREAT. I hope you hear from Mio soon or receive your order soon.
      Like others have said she always does deliver, you just don't know when.

    35. I also ordered from Mio last year and waited 6 months for my order with no communication. I wasn't a part of any group order but I did have a large order of over $500 dollars. The reason I ordered so much was because I knew that it could take up to 3 months so my thinking was to order as much as I could afford in that order. But it ended up taking 6 months...! And when I finally received my order one pair of pants didn't have any kind of a snap button...nothing to close the front of the pants. At that time, I heard through the 'grapevine' that she was having a tough emotional time like a depression.

      I do think her clothes are very well sewn and was happy with everything except for that one pair of pants missing the snap button. But I feel when you charge a high amount for clothing making most of the orders placed in the high cost range, you SHOULD have great customer service and shipped within a set time frame, for example 3 months...I wouldn't mind waiting 3 months. But since she is only one person, I do think she takes on too many orders. Which can cause her to feel overwhelmed, which can also cause mistakes with some orders, which trickles on down to the waiting time.

      I do like her clothing very much but after my stressed out experience with my last order I haven't placed another order nor will I in the future.

      Im sorry this is happening to you Peppa. And I know what you mean about not wanting to keep the clothing. On the positive side, I always heard that she does eventually ship the items and I did receive everything in my order. I think the biggest problem is the no communication. But Im sure you will eventually receive your order.

      if she is like this why do people keep going back, you wouldn't return to a shop if you got this kind of service, would you ?

      It's been over a month now since she put up the tracking Number and still no clothes or no response to my questions, I have just about given up on my $300:...( and puttng it down to never again let anything go so long that I cant put a dispute in to pay pal , well it wont be a Happy Xmas:hollyberry here :(

      I needed to contact her so I could change my shipping address but having left numerous messages I still haven't had a reply. I also came across some pretty bad feedback and I can't help but be a little worried..

      If anyone can shed some light on this type of situation with Mio or even contact her on my behalf I would greatly appreciate it.

      Mio seems to have way to much on her plate just now, and like Asians are wont to she avoids giving negative answers - until she can say something positive she doesn't say anything at all. There is in all likelyhood no cause for concern, it will just take longer.

    40. while the notice board didnt change, i got my items from mio today
      i ordered a lot of items a long long time ago,
      i know she cant be contacted when she doesnt want to be.
      the Health and Depression holds true for the mio I know,
      all i can say is...if anyone wants to order from her, be prepared for a much longer wait (which i was) and for no communications at all, and forget about the order and in time it will come.

      I cant find anyone else who does tight stuff the way i want it, so when i order from her, i order and forget all about it and one day it shows up.
      unfortunately thats the way it is so buyers beware. I would still buy from her because there is no other market like it.

    48. Just letting everyone know that my order arrived safe and sound. I freaked out a bit after reading alot of bad feedback (and I left messages on her website, here and paypal.. *_*), but to be very honest I was afraid that she would send my packages to the old address. Her work is very nice and I would recommend her to anyone if you don't mind waiting (it really is worth waiting for). As for her response time to messages it could be better just to let customers know what is going on.
