      * How was the communication? Their communication was great, sent an email as soon as my order was processed and then again when it was shipped out.

      * How long did it take to ship? About 5 days. It took 5 weeks to process (it was a pre order). Christmas delayed it a bit but that is understandable
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes!
      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? The pictures didn't have any good angles, so it is hard to tell.

      When did you order?

      November 2013, on a six month layaway.

      How was the communication?

      Spectacular. Not only were their replies prompt, they were incredibly friendly, and were prepared to go above and beyond when I pointed out that DollZone forgot to add a piece of the fullset outfit.

      How easy was it to pay?

      Very simple, direct debit.

      How long did it take to ship?

      Once the layaway was over, my Stramonium was shipped VERY quickly to me and arrived within a week.

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

      Yes.

      Yes.

      How was the communication?

      Excellent as usual. They are always very prompt and friendly with any questions one might have.

      How easy was it to pay?

      As easy as breathing; one simple debit card charge later and he was partially mine

      How long did it take to ship?

      Less than twenty-four hours. He arrived, and I got a notice the next morning saying he had shipped. He was with me by the end of the week.

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?

      Very much so. Although Dollzone's difficulty in processing orders made the wait much longer than it should have been, it was well worth it. No scratches, scuffs, chips, cracks, missing magnets, or discolorations. They even provided me with a neck doughnut.

      Did the items look like the sales pictures?

      Absolutely identical

      Were you satisfied with the product?

      Utterly and completely, as I've been in the past. It was a delightful preordering experience, and I will happily buy through them again.

      I sent an email asking about the particular shade of pink they had and was responded to within a day - very prompt and friendly!

      Very easy.

      Shipped the same day I ordered; order arrived in two days :).

      Yes, even better than I thought.

      The dress was a lighter shade of pink but the description of the item stated that the pink color varied. I sent an email asking about the color and the color matched what I was told.

      * Were you satisfied with the product? Very satisfied! Although I never received any free candy like I've seen in other people's box openings but that wasn't a big deal. Would definitely order again many more times in the future! :)

      How was the communication?
      Communication was fast (as they have an auto response to all emails, however the ACTUAL reply can take up to a week, depends on how livid you are with them)
      However, I found them to be very rude and once there were problems as they stopped telling me about my order when the order never even came in.


      How easy was it to pay?
      Extremely easy


      How long did it take to ship?
      They never shipped it. I don't even know if they got it in as they haven't said anything to me.
      It's been 25 weeks.


      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      It's not much different than the company price and you're better off buying off an ebay seller


      Did the items look like the sales pictures?
      Never got the item


      Were you satisfied with the product?

      If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem?
      They didn't. They told me to wait until the 25th of this month to receive a refund. They didn't apologize for how long it's taken. They never apologized for not telling me what's going on. No apologies. Just a cold response to a longer wait time. Just a two sentence response that they would only issue a refund on the 25th of August and if I were to cancel now I would have to let them keep the first deposit.
      I am absolutely livid with these people. I will NEVER order from Mint on Card ever again.
      Worst service ever.
       
    6. This is a case of a customer believing that our store policies do not apply to her. We email all customers when their order is on the way to us from the manufacturer, again when we have received their order, and again when their order has shipped out to them. It is stated on all Doll Family - H listings that orders can take up to 27 weeks to receive once an order has been submitted to them. Our policies state that pre-orders can not be canceled, but customers can be fully refunded if 27 weeks have passed and the manufacturer has not yet mailed out the order. It will be 27 weeks on August 25th since this customers order was submitted to Doll Family - H, so that is when she would qualify for a full refund. If she does not agree with our policies then she should not have selected the box during check-out stating that she does agree with them, and she should not have submitted an order with us. We make our policies very clear precisely to avoid situations such as this. If a person does not like our policies they should not buy from us.

      As of this typing Doll Family - H has said that this customers order has been shipped, we are just waiting for the tracking number. Once we have the tracking number we will provide it to the customer so that she can see that we are being honest.

      Update 8/22/2014: This customers order was shipped out to her via FedEx Express on August 19th 2014, she was emailed by us when we received her order and was sent an email from FedEx containing her parcels tracking number.
       
    7. * What did you order? Island Doll Island Skin Eric, full set Island Skin Vivian, opal skin high heel feet 1/3

      * When did you order? April 2014

      * How was the communication? Fantastic! I actually made a mistake and ordered the wrong skin color for Vivian -- I meant to order opal! -- and while they couldn't help me with that because when I realized my mistake the order had already been placed with ID, they did manage to talk ID into casting the opal feet in island skin instead so that those would at least match my doll. Great service, really appreciated!

      * How easy was it to pay? Very easy. I placed the order using just their website's system and it all went through just fine.

      * How long did it take to ship? Had to wait for my custom doll order to come in, so it took several months.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes, very good!

      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? Mostly; Vivian's face-up looked just like the company photos, while Eric's was a little bit different, but still very beautiful. Also, even though they were supposed to be the same skin tone, for some reason Eric's skin is much more yellow and less translucent than Vivian's skin. Maybe just a difference in the resin batches. That's on Island Doll, anyway, and nothing Mint On Card could have predicted or controlled.

      Yes! It is also worth mentioning that they sent my dolls, each in their own box, both boxes packaged in one large, sturdy shipping box with LOTS of padding -- this is the best-packaged doll shipment I have ever received!

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? Well, since the mistake was mine when I placed the order and got the wrong skin, I'm just glad that they were willing to communicate with Island Doll until they were able to find a good solution.

      On the whole, I was very, very happy with the service, product, prices, and selection available from Mint On Card. I found them by a chance internet search when I was looking for Asleep Eidolon dolls, and they are now my number one source for BJDs for every brand they carry!

      How was the communication? Excellent, I emailed MoC twice and both times received quick, knowledgeable responses

      How long did it take to ship? Once the item arrived, a little less than a week

      If there were any problems with your order, how did the company handle them? It took almost FIVE MONTHS for my order to come in.I know Dollzone had a reputation for taking a long time, but as this was only an outfit I felt the long wait time was ridiculous. After about 4 months I contacted MoC asking about the status and they checked it for me no problem. They told me if it took another month they would be able to refund me. Thankfully my item actually arrived just a hair before the deadline.
      Would you order from this company again? I'm very peeved with Dollzone, and although the outfit is really nice I'm definitely going to think twice about ordering an item from them again that isn't in stock. That being said, MoC was lovely to deal with, they were very professional and I'll certainly look to shop from them again.

      I was very satisfied, but I did contact MOC prior to purchase to request a picture of the doll in-stock with questions about poseability. Lindsey sent me photos the next day, and set aside the same doll pictured after I enquired whether or not I could purchase that one. Their customer service is amazing, and I will never hesitate to order from them.

      For the most part - the shorts were too small, but that is a problem with the manufacturer, and not with Mint on Card itself. The shorts were very cheap, and I can cover up the open part with the shirt, so it works out well. Everything else was very lovely though.

    17. Ok, I've gotten half my dolls plus clothes, wigs, shoes, doll stands & accessories from Mint on Card - that's probably 20 dolls. I LOVE them. They check everything & several times have notified me when they've had to send back an order because there were problems. I had one item lost in transit & that got replaced w/no problems. I have NEVER had a problem & I've gotten everything within the time limits specified, plus all the proper notifications.

They set forth guidelines are to how much they will be worth, what they might be, and a guarantee ofone item from a list of things. Both bags completely satisfied the guidelines they set out. I am extremely happy with what I got and would definitely do this again!

      How was communication?
      Communication has been impeccable! I emailed them every time I was ready to make a layaway payment and received an email from them once they went to charge it. When my order arrived I received an email from them and after my order was picked up I got an email from FedEx with tracking number.

      How easy was it to pay?
      It was super easy. I made my first payment right away then when I ready to make layaway payments I just shot them an email (if I wanted to make a larger payment I said how much I wanted to pay).

      How long did it take to ship?
      I made my last payment on 5/26/15 around 8 am and received an email from FedEx at 12:30 pm same day.

      Was the quality appropriate for the price?
      I would say yes the dolls are nice, smooth resin heavy and thick. The event doll is super cute in a strange way and fox although his tail keeps falling off is pretty cute too (I love the eyes that came with both event doll and fox)

      I haven't received my items yet however I'm satisfied with my transaction with mint on card based on communication and speed alone. I'm also satisfied with dollzones speed, I know they are known for taking a long time to complete orders so I was pleasantly surprised when I received an email saying my order had arrived after 4 months. I'll update once I receive my shipment :D

      Update: I couldn't be happier with my transaction with MOC! Not only did they ship fedex same day I finished paying off my layaway but I received my package less than 24 hrs later!

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? N/A, I was very satisfied. My Mr. Snowman was supposed to come with a extra pair of painted eyes, but MoC let me know that he came in with them blank. MoC offered to paint them for free, and I accepted that offer.

      * How easy was it to pay? A no-brainer. Just run through the credit card process, set up a layaway plan, add a note for the event doll, and you're done.
      * How long did it take to ship? Three days
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Definitely. I owned an original release Ada, and they have only improved since then.
      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? For the most part, yes. Doll Chateau changed their white to a more yellow parchment tone as opposed to a stark white, so my head did not quite match. But otherwise it was all spot-on.
      * Were you satisfied with the product? Completely. The quality is outstanding

      -I was contacted again by Mint on Card after the owner returned. They requested an additional photo of the back of the ears (which thinking about it, I probably should have included). After sending in the requested photo, I was just contacted again. Dollzone will be casting and painting the correct ear and sending it in their next shipment to Mint on Card. Will update again when the ear is home.

      -Contacted by Mint on Card. They have my ears! They are also paying the shipping! All I had to do was confirm my address, and once they have the confirmation, they are sending them out.

      I will DEFINITELY be buying from MoC again in the future, and anything I can buy through them, I will be doing so.

      * How was the communication? Amazing, I also asked if they could add a scar to his default face-up and they were great to work with. Paige, the face-up artist, e-mailed me and asked for character information so to better inspire her work. She then emailed me to tell me he had arrived, and again with pictures to make sure everything was right. She even wrote a little note on his order form when she sent him out. ^.^
      * How easy was it to pay? Easy. I had him on layaway. There was an issue with the last payment not going through, and they contacted right away. I'm not sure why it didn't work the first time(s) they tried, but after checking the information was correct it went through just fine.
      * How long did it take to ship? A week or two because the weather was not permiting face-up work to be done.
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes.
      * Did the item look like the sales pictures? No, Oliver's fullset wig arrived very different than pictured. A different style and colour.

They replied saying that they contected Dollzone and that Dollzone had actually changed the wig style/colour. They also told me that it has happened to them a few times with other items. They apologised for the inconvience and gave me 5 munie for it. I'm very satisfied with this even though I couldn't get the wig I thought I'd be getting. It's not MoC's fault what-so-ever that Dollzone just decides to change things and not tell anyone, and they didn't have to compensate me at all.

The rep told me she'd get in contact DC and tell them to send it if I wanted her to.
      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? MoC will contact me if they can get it in. Seeing as Pierre is a discontinued sculpt, they warned me I might not be able to get it. It doesn't really bother me, but it'd be nice to have.

      But overall, YES, I was satisfied with MoC. I will definitely buy from them again in the future :3

    37. Several months ago, I wanted to order a bunch of things. I'd never placed an order with MOC before, so I tried to make an account. But for some reason, their system wouldn't let me complete the confirm-email field. I tried many times, on different days, on different computers, and the field would just blank in mid-entry. Finally, I contacted them by email, which was answered by Melissa. We went back and forth. I clarified my problem, she had no idea why it was happening, and stated that no other customers had reported the same problem.

      Well, obviously if you can't create an account, you can't become a customer, so no wonder other "customers" didn't report that problem, but I was. There was no attempt to help me manually create an account, look into the information I was entering, or even assist me to make an order as a guest. I wasn't asking for a preorder or a layaway. She finally said she was referring the matter to "tech support", but her next email told me that tech support had no idea either and they couldn't replicate the problem -- she concluded with basically, nothing we can do about the problem, see ya, bye, "We are so sorry." I've never encountered a company before that's so blasé about turning away business and possible more future business.

      This week, I discovered myself what the problem must have been - cleaning up through piles of old papers, I found I had jotted down log-on info for an account I must have made there about five or six years ago (from the dates on the papers it was mixed in with), using the same email address I was now trying to enter again. I guess their tech support didn't enable their software to offer an error message that an email (or other info) already was in their system.

      Anyway, even though it turns out I do have a valid account, after dealing with Melissa's obvious lack of interest in customer service (even potential-customer service), I feel that doesn't bode well for any potential order problems that could occur. I won't be making any orders with them, ever.

We had bought too many things online and our bank thought something was going on. They charged my card right away after I told them the bank issue was fixed. (Also this messed up a layaway payment for another order and they were very understanding. My layaway wasn't due yet, but I wanted to pay it off. It was all taken care of very quickly!)

      Great! I ordered via layaway so my communication was primarily with Lane. They were very quick to reply to questions and concerns etc.
      * How easy was it to pay?
      Easy. There's no PayPal option so you pay via card and they keep it on file. You have to e-mail them to manually charge out and you don't get reminder e-mails (or maybe I just paid things early all the time so I never got the chance to receive a reminder e-mail).
      * How long did it take to ship?
      I made the newbie mistake of ordering from a quick company (luts) and a slow company (dollzone) in the same order. Typically MoC will not split orders on preordered items and so I would have been waiting a LOT longer if they hadn't taken pity on my situation making a n00b mistake. My items were shipped in late April with the exception of the DZ eyes which have yet to arrive. I'm honestly not anticipating the eyes before July.
      One thing to keep in mind, they ship via FedEx for large items and items with a $400 value or above need a DIRECT signature so someone will have to sign for the package. You can't leave a signed note or sign a door tag, someone physically has to be there to sign. Just..be aware of that. If you sign up for FedEx's delivery notifications you can pay to reschedule your delivery day for a time you will be home though otherwise after one failed delivery attempt it'll be held at a FedEx location and you'll have to physically go there. I'm a bus rider so I'm particularly sensitive to this subject that's why I feel the need to point it out.

      Everything was there!
      * If there were any problems with your order, how did the company handle them?
      They went above and beyond what they had to. I understood and knew the policy before I placed my order I just didn't do my proper research to make sure the companies' wait times lined up. I made a dumb mistake on my order and would have happily slept in the bed I made. Tough lesson learned. But they took pity on my situation and didn't force me to stall my doll order just because of a single pair of eyes. This isn't normal policy, it causes a paperwork nightmare behind the scenes, and this was clearly a one-time courtesy. But I learned my lesson, and I won't make that mistake again. SPLIT. YOUR. ORDERS. UP. BY. ORDERING. SEPARATELY. Lesson learned.

      Yea, definitely. They have a great layway period which is really handy. I wish they still had contracts with certain companies, but I get the position they are in. They are an amazing company, they have a wealth of knowledge, great customer service. Even if they can't help you, that are sympathetic and you feel taken care of.

      How was communication?
      So far excellent! I originally had an aimarie Asuka on always instead of Aio but changed my mind because her sculpt has no lips only painted on mouth. I asked if it was possible to change sculpts as I know the website says it’s impossible but they were able to change my order. It’s a layaway order as well so I let them know I’m ready to make a payment and I get a response either in a few hrs, the next day or the next business day (depending on when I let them know)
      How easy was it to pay?
      They keep my card info on file until I finish my lawsuit then it gets deleted. I let them know when to charge my card.

      I was pleasantly surprised with my aimerai aio! The body blushing is beautiful and she has no seam lines! For the price she’s amazing! Aimerai also sent her with a carrying bag with straps which is awesome!! The dollsone bag is huge! I can fit like 5 msd in it and there are so many pockets it’s awesome. The only thing I was meh about was the aimerai outfit I bought. It doesn’t really fit on my msd girls .

      My aimerai doll looks better than the sales photos. I’m not sure why but her promo photos make her look like she has an attitude but she is actually very sweet.
