So after a busy 4-5 hour day of faceupping I have finished two PKF, one LTF, AAANNNDDDD my Rheia



She doesn't look nearly as Chinese as I was hoping she would, I'll probably go back in and fix it later on =3=

Ack! Box opening, I didn't even pause to breathe when I ripped open that box LOL. But while Miyu gets a makeover Elise is galavanting around in the body of course...polka dot panties, scarf and the old junk wig. Honestly, that girl has no class!

The panties were on my Miyu when she arrived so I have no clue where they're from originally, sorry! (I bought her from the Mp) And the chair I lucked into on ebay! It's a vintage teddy bear chair I think. A woman was clearing out her mother's old stuff and sold it to me for like $15!

Also, I finally found my box of little instruments for my sewing machine (of course it was last night AFTER I had made what I wanted to make) and now I can do gathers with my machine not by hand. woo. Save me 5 years. xD

Got Helo's dogtags today, but have to wait until it stops raining (reality: DELUGE) as I want some good shots of him. Have to fix the chain too as it's a little too short, but I think by combining the two that came I can rig something, lol.

Can I get some cheer up spam, please? I got RSI in my right [drawing] wrist 3 weeks ago, and I haven't been able to do ANYTHING because of the pain, I'm so beyond bored/fed up/depressed now. It even hurts to just pick up my dollies.*sulks in corner*

 

Question: I don't have any sleeping heads, Are they marked differently inside the headcap than open the open eye heads? Because I think my Miyu is a sleeping head mod. Her eyes aren't nearly as wide open as other Miyu's. Her headcap reads: Miyu: S

My Vampire Shiwoo elf is a sleeping one, and in her head cap and head it says Shiwoo-S Elf so yeah i think it is a sleeping mod xD And definately by your picture you can tell! She is gorgeous anyways

In my own news, I still have no dolls to spam you with, and I'm not sure when they will be here. But hopefully soon. Also, my MSC is coming by Seamail since they can't send it by airmail because it's compressed gas and could explode or something. So that's about 5-8weeks away apparently, which means I won't be able to faceup my Lishe who is almost home until the MSC comes in! The other two will get here around the same time as the MSC so that's all good. They're all arriving blank.

 

Oh wow!! She definitely is different!! She's got a Juri-eye thing going on (IMO) and I LOVE her mouth! Very unique and adorable! But totally not exactly Miyu. I love her though! If I knew I'd get one like her, I'd order a Miyu as soon as possible!

Oh good! Glad it will heal up without having to have surgery! I can understand the frustration though.

 

She might not be a standard Miyu, but she's adorable. She looks older and has more attitude than other Miyus. I have to agree that if all Miyus looked like yours, the Luka that I want in the future would definately find herself bumped from the list.

I don't believe her mouth is at all modded, I just painted her to have an open mouth.

Hello thread homies! Loving all the spam that i wittnessed to play "catch-up" lol. Xhanthi omg your miyu is so adorable (I have a soft spot for mods) She is so wonderful..and looks full of attitude too

Just released him from his bubblewrap, and he's gooooorgeous~ I wanna give him a faceup like RIGHTNOW, but i shouldnt. I could, but i wanan open his eyeeeees. Once i decide what sort of eyeshape to go for >>;

I'm pretty sure this boy is Lahl. nnngh i need to see him with eyes first before i really decide though XD; mrrr i'm half tempted to just start opening his eyes right now, but....idk, maybe i will XD (i'm sosososo excited he's got eyewells. Miere's eyes were such a pain XD)


Current mnf head count: 11. body count: 4, with one on the way. I think i have a problem.....XD

TORREN OMG I LOVE HIIIIM!! (biased has a MNF shiwoo sleeping head of her own) I can't wait to see him with a faceup! lucky he's got eyewells...mine is vamp shiwoo sleeping so his eyewells are filled >.<

Snow Seren is very pretty I like the difference in faceups even though its the same character

 

urushi: Thanks! Eyewells are a pain if they're filled in, but they're not too bad. My Karsh, Miere, is the only eye opening i've done so far, and he didnt have eyewells. It took forever, especially since i was limited to using a hand drill, metal files, and an eye bevel so it was really slow work, but i'm really happy with how he came out anyway (even if one eyewell is a little off. i never did get around to fixing it XD; ) I'm really looking forward to opening Shiwoo's eyes, though, sicne it'll be easier to see what i'm doing!

xhanthi: XD i'm always really excited, and i always ahve a tendancy to jump right in to working on them if i can. I just have to keep myself from doing a 'temp' faceup on him, cause last time i did that i decided against opening my Soo's eyes XD I can alraedy see his smirky glare though, so i wanna open theeeeemmmm.....>>; XD
