We want to keep this mainly a Minifee Discussion thread. It's easier on the servers and easier to search.

If you want to post photos. Post only one here. The rest in the Mini fee photo thread.

ginarolo, when you say one photo, does that mean one photo for the entire thread and then the rest from then on, in the photo thread? Or does it mean you can post photos regularly, as long as you only post one, then put the rest in the Gallery thread and link them in the MNF thread?

Basically the mods want to keep this a discussion about minifee not a photo thread. So try to keep photos down to one (every so often) unless it is demonstration of body comparisons or good reference information photos.

If you do a group of photos ..post one here and the rest on photo thread.

If you want to do a photo story best to post one here and rest in galleries but link back here.

Minifee discussion is a very busy thread. And we are trying to reduce server load and make discussion threads easy to look through.

I will be slowly doing this at other Mini size doll threads. If people see someone new spamming with photos in discussion please hit report button.

Since it's a new thread and I've been lurking around here for a while I wanted to post I'm going to get a Karsh as my first BJD! It's crazy, I never wanted an elf or a mature mini but I wanted him so bad. He's really pretty and I adore all of the pictures people have posted of him here even though there doesn't seem to be many of him out there at the moment. I can't wait til I get mine

I realized this morning that I'm too nice. Instead of saving I'm giving my sister $300 to get a Volks MSD. I don't even like Volks MSDs. The only Volks dolls I like are the Yo's. And that puts me $300 behind on a FL order! (or unoa... whichever in the end!)

Seorins and Shiwoo's have always prodded me but I'm not suuure. Everyone has a Shiwoo. To be honest no wonder. But I'd end up swoooning over the Shiwoo all the time. So would Peregrine. And I'm against having doll relationships between my own dolls. I prefer them to be more social! ^^ And anyway Peregrine loves San. *giggles* Her first pictures are going to be her swooning over Mendo and Hakari Why can't she love Vult like meee DX

I found the perfect wig for my Teir (he's a WS Shiwoo)! it's a cancan jseries rs53a-lilac mixT, he has a purple wig now with a tail...but that one is just luscious! Now to save enough for it! I swear, Teir is sooo spoiled! Purple everything! hehe.

 

akaStarla I couldn't help but notice in your signature that you're getting a Miyu called Étoile. I am assuming she's going to be French? My Miyu is called Élodie. She is French too! Must be something about the sculpt that makes them look French... Good name choice though. It is very pretty.

She'll be my little Parisian My Mother is French, so I feel a strong connection to the country, although that's slightly dangerous living in England

Étoile is French for 'star' and it's the name of a Parisian Metro station.

I can't wait to get her! Miyu is amazing.

I don't have a MNF yet but I am leaning towards an El as my first one. But then again my wishlist is almost as long as my arm!

 

does anyone know if a size 8 wig will fit a shiwoo head? I really want this cancan jseries wig that is perfect...it has elastic in it...but I was wondering if it'll fit a shiwoo head...I know they are normally pretty large so I'm hoping...or maybe I'll be able to adjust the elastic to fit him...hope I can...lemme know if it's possible. Thanks.

 

yeah probably... though the main thing is it would be sad to have to mail dolls back and forth just so they can have photostories together

What is it about the Miyu sculpt that makes them look French?! élodie wasn't meant to be French until I opened the box and it just kind of happened.
We have great French conversations together (I did French A Level and I'm going on to do it at University). Sadly enough, it has actually improved my French conversation skills.

So! I've made up my mind to buckle under the weight of Fairyland's greatness, and purchase a MNF. I've already got puki and a LittleFee, so it seems the next logical step. XD

Still fiddling about with ideas concerning which head I'd prefer, etc, but I do want to go ahead and start planning on wig and eye combos. I know the head size is about 7 inches, so does anyone think a 6/7 stretchy wig cap is the way to go (for instance, Monique, Jpop), or is 7/8 the better option?

 

7/8 is best 6/7 is too small and wouldn't come down far enough, and being elastic would just pop right off

 

I've seen you guys in the Puki and LTF threads on the Tinys forum. Hey!

I've decided to take the MNF plunge, too. I'm thinking Ryeon or Shiwoo right now. Hopefully, my mind will be made up by the summer event.
