Oh I have a question!

Has anyone purchased any Nine9 Stlye outfits and if so, how do they fit? Do you have pictures?

Can I have some El spam? I've been pouring over El pictures online every place I could find them, but now I realize that some of them may have been Luts Delf El not Fairyland Minifee El. I'm wondering if the Fairyland El is actually the one I think.

Well actually, maybe some of you wouldn't mind taking a look at this picture and letting me know if it is a Fairyland Minifee El?

 

Sorry, he's a Delf El and sorry, I don't have any El spam of my own I do have some Karsh, JID spam though ...

Minifee El and Delf El don't look exactly the same. I'm not a fan of minifee El he looks kinda odd and a bit scary to me.

Bobbi (Minifee Miyu) wants to say "Hi". She just arrived this afternoon. We're still tweaking her final look, but this photo shows her cuteness.

 

Awwwwwww, CRWAP! Figures! Every face sculpt I ever fall head over heals in love with turns out NOT to be a Minifee. I love the Minifee body though. No other will do. I was hoping that the image was of a Minifee El and I could use that sculpt as a Minifee girl.

Back to the drawing board.....er...online search. *sigh*

Your couple looks great though. You've done such a beautiful job on their characters.

Switching back and forth between the picture I linked to and the one you linked to I can see the differences, so yeah, they aren't exactly the same, but I also see a lot of similarities in the basic face and eye shape too. I wasn't initially sure if the differences I was seeing were due to the faceups. The eyebrows on that Minifee El are part of what makes him look mean and scary. That could be changed of course, but the thin nose ... ?

What I'm looking for is a gently happy/content Minifee where the eyes aren't so huge and anime, and the nose isn't long and pointy. Sure wish that Mirwen didn't have the heavy brow ridge that wants sad/confused eyebrows. Otherwise I think she'd be my first choice.

Looking at the Delf El I hadn't scrolled down so I didn't see the tags. Silly, as I always use them myself!

Calio4: The Juri is different every event though, and it's only given out during some. So far they had one for '08, '10, and the newest one was for the '11 summer/fall event. If you get lucky, you can still find the heads second hand though

I'm sorry, Nikki'sNewObsession, I'm so new to the Minifee scene that I don't yet recognize all the different sculpts. I really like your brunette on the left in the picture. Is she a Chloe or Rheia? I love the wig too. She looks like a woman who knows where to go to get a great, classic haircut.

Nine9 style can work quite well. Some of the stuff looks big on the cutie bust girls though. They are fantastic on my RS girls though which are about the same size as the larger MNF's. I don't have any pictures though, except on off topic dolls.

 

Are you a Star Wars fan at all? Maybe the names just subconsciously went hand-in-hand for you.


I'm at a point where I feel like I have enough dolls (which I know won't be true for long) or at the very least I'm out of space for MORE dolls. Even so, I'm beginning to ponder which body to buy for my Juri '10 heads... I never spam them because one of them doesn't have a full faceup (or eyes) yet and I don't have a body to spam them ON. I can't afford to buy two bodies right now, but their personalities and styles are so different that I don't think they could share one for long, so the dilemma is just which one to buy FIRST.

EJ's really sweet I get all my wigs from JPop or Facets by Marcia (I only like Monique wigs)

 

elshe, I second Ban Sidhe's recommendation of Monique wigs! Jpop's wigs are made by Monique, and I'm super fond of them. The fibers are nice and fine, the wigcaps are nice and stretchy, and the overall feeling is so very soft.

I love their wigs so very very much! That's one of the reasons that almost all of my dolls wear Monique or Monique-made wigs.

... Also, Myliex recently got a suitcase... and she can actually hold it and stand. It even has clothes packed inside, and it's a solid prop, I'm impressed, Myliex is a strong girl! lol

My girls did some Christmas baking decorating this weekend, including doll-sized gingerbread houses. You don't need a ton of icing to put them together, but Miesha's kind of a "go big or go home" sort of girl...

Denaliwind The eyes are green...but the outer edges/pupils look like a purple-brown? I'm really liking her with lighter eyes. These are from DD-Ann from her *flawed* sales, but I couldn't find anyting wrong with any of the eyes I got! Also Myliex's suitcase looks & sounds awesome! Great find!

I really like it, subtle in photographs, but really gives something a little special. And I'm very excited about the suitcase and happy to have found it.

the latest monique wig is a buttercup wig in nearly black, for my mnf chloe, and I restyle it a little bit
