Thank you, I don't mind at all, I gave her human ears (though they are bigger than normal), closed her eyes up with apoxy sculpt, then re-shaped them:

Silvermasques she needs a new faceup though. This one makes her look yellow, just like the Marcia I had (same faceup artist.)
I haven't found someone willing to get rid of their Marcia yet, haha.

Hahah yeah I was gonna get my Marcia... Dear Natalie, but Myca demanded to come home first as she was a planned character before Natalie.. XD

With Leeke wigs, for a Shushu one of the 5 I have that are size 6/7 fit..was just wondering if you find that Leeke 7/8 fits better for the most part on Shushu.

7/8s on Shushus tend to swim D: I have issues with Lily's wig staying on XD and she has a long leeke wig in 7/8

I have a 7-8 Leeke wig and it slips off her head, 6-7 fit nicely, a bit hard to get on but better than 7-8.

 

Ok was wondering if 7/8 would be too big...
Well she is getting closer to "stepping out " photos hehe...I had ordered eyes for her...and thought they would work...nope they didnt lol ...so I actually yesterday put in an older pair that I had that so far Im liking hehe...I have her dressed after MANY wardrobe changes in what may suit her...I get her set then, bam, its like none of it is her style ....**le sigh**

Ok. I am having a hard time deciding if I should get Mirwen.

Yes, I think she is beautiful. Yes, I have sold (most of) a doll to help pay for her.

But I have not been very dollie active lately and there are so many things I could use the money for.

And it really is the larger VF that I wanted. And still want. But what if she is never offered?? And if she is, she will be so expensive. Mirwen is almost identical and lovely in her own right. I loved her look the moment I saw her...

Someone talk me into ordering! I need to decide tomorrow. I want to make sure I get the order in to make sure I get an event gift. If I decide to order.

Ban - I love your new Delaney. I must admit, I too was having a hard time calling Amy by any other name. Your mods came out great, Delaney is so pretty!

I am teetering on the fence about Mirwen. Luts posted that they are discontinuing Delf as of 11/15. And, um, that's the size of the Victoria Frances that I fell in love with. So I can order Mirwen, or wait to see if they release the bigger size. And I have been wanting a SD girl ...

Seriously? Which doll did I get? lol

 

Oh go on ban - you can always sell the Mirwen if they ever offer her in the SD form...

 

You have a lovely boy, dreamparticle! And yes, I think loose hand are not an uncommon problem. It just has to do with the opening in the hand being bigger than the bit it fits onto. I think the common solution is to...I can't remember, do something like boil the hand and then quickly put it on the arm and squeeze it tight on so it'll fit. But don't take my word for it, I can't remember the specifics. ^^;

@Ban~ Delaney is beautiful, and now I'm stalking you on Flickr. Also, get a Mirwen!!.. but, you can also order one a la carte, so unless you're reallyreally after the event head and fullset, Mirwen will still be there in a few weeks if/when something different happens with the Luts thing. There's sure to even be some Juri 11 heads on the MP soon enough. So that's like, half enabling?

I have the Mirwen bug, but I'm toughing it out for awhile. He'll be there when I'm ready. (and when my wallet is ready, too...) Cannot WAIT to start seeing owner pictures though!

I need advice!
I love the Juri 11 head, and I just knew the looks and personality I wanted for it as soon as I saw it, but I'm still hesitating...
And I need to hurry up and decide before the event ends!

1. I wasn't going to get another mnf for a while. I have 5.
2. I know all that matters is if I like it, but I'm still a little discouraged by how many people didn't like the new Juri head..
It's like with my sister and eyes with light pupils. I love them, but she hates them. And I don't want her to hate my dolls, so I don't use that kind of eyes. =P

What should I do?

Graelin, I've got a Juri 11 headed my way, and I'm super excited. I know some folks don't like the mold, but I'm not in the hobby to please anyone but myself. I hope everyone here agrees with me in this--BJD collecting's to make YOU happy, not to make everyone else happy. Nobody in the world is going to have a doll that EVERYONE likes and appreciates. So why bother trying? Get the dolls that YOU like, and customize them the way YOU want.

 

I think there are two BanSidhe in this thread... Or am I just going crazy?

 

Rio99 :: You're not going crazy. Both BanSidhe and Ban Sidhe are active in this thread. Try having both participating in your group order at the same time. That was an amusing experience and the first time I realized that there were two of them.

On another note, I'm really wanting a Mirwen boy. I think the sculpt would make a lovely boy. Is anyone else that has ordered Mirwen planning on having a boy, if so, I can't wait to see how it turns out.

I can't wait to see Mirwens with non-default faceups! After re-homing so many of my girls (I'm heartbroken and so are Bianca, Pumpkin and Gwen) I definitely have room for another girl after my permanent Karsh arrives. I kinda want to call her a KarshA! hmmm!!!!

 

chances are that some of them will come up on the marketplace after the event...

 

I personally think the Juri 11 is a cutie XD not cute like 08 n 10 but she's got her own level of cute/naughty!

 

Graelin: I say go for it! Personally, I really wanna see what everyone does with the new Juris. It's always a little disheartening when so many people don't like the mold right off, but something I"ve noticed is a lot of people tend to come around when owner pics start showing up.
I figure I'll wind up getting one second hand at some point, partially because that's what I did with the other 2 juris and partly because I seem to be collecting a bajillion mnf heads as it is XD

...and looking at it again now, it looks REALLY CUTE.

 

actually, that was me Ban #1 and Ban #2 strike again: TOTAL CONFUSION !!! Mwah ha ha ha !!! he's too big for me though, glad it's taking FL so long to come out with the SD Mirwen 'cause I know that size isn't for me now. I'm gonna stick with MSDs.
