She's very cute! I love her face-up in combination with her eyes and her wig is really pretty too.

 

Has anyone ever successfully put an L-Line/Littlefee faceplate onto a Minifee girl body, using the C-Line/Chicline male headback/adapter? I'm trying to figure out if it would work, but can't seem to find any reference photos. I know that the male C-Line and the female M-Line dolls have approximately the same neck size...

 

I have a quick question! I purchased an A-line body which is definately yellowed and shiney on some parts, would giving it a coat of MSC help lighten it? Does anyone else do this?

 

There is no way to put one of the chicline adapters onto a MNF that would make it fit a LTF - that's not how FL designed them.

Vanille, you might need to check out the customizations threads to see different methods for de-yellowing. MSC flat will help with the shiney, but before you spray it on you want to try to de-yellow the resin! I think I remember reading about a method with oxy clean?

Kiyakotari, you might manage to do it, but I can tell you that you'll have to do some modding to get the adapter to fit the MNF neck... That's going to be the biggest issue, really.

 

I'm totally comfortable modifying dolls and parts, no worries there. ^_~ I'm mostly concerned about the proportion of the head to the body. I guess I'll find out if it will work when my pieces arrive!

*spazz* I ordered Mirwen, alc. This will be a long wait, I am sure.
I am curious how many others have ordered her, too. I looked on the wait thread, but I didn't see too many on the list.
I have to say, when I saw her I knew I had to get her. She's everything I wanted the Victoria Frances doll to be, without being that doll. Pretty much the same face, MNF, and the same faceup, without the bloody tear, which was neat, but I could definitely do without.
I am just excited, and I am sure she'll really get me back into the swing of the hobby, which has been on the back burner for a while.

Bijoux got a new wig. It's so different from the one she started with, but I like it a lot. She looks more like the moody teenager she is. Still my first love!

zetoast, I simply haven't joined the waitlist thread...but I also have ordered a Mirwen. I'm actually splitting two so I get everything except the faceupped head, and I'm getting a blank head in an a la carte split on the same order.

...I just couldn't resist the outfit!

I can't wait to get her home, and then off to either my favorite faceup artist or perhaps I might try to get her off to Andreja!

Is she? I thought she looked similar, but the eyes and mouth look a bit different to me.

 

...the problem with the Mirwen as the VF doll debate is that, if you look at the shoulders, etc, the body is pretty obviously (in my opinion, at least) one of the Feeple bodies...

I am *really* thinking about ordering Mirwen. I actually have an extra A-line girl body if I could just get my hands on a head. Of course, if I sell the body I could put it towards a new doll, lol. Oh doll decisions!

 

Lol - I want one too, but she's gone onto my list until I get everything else sorted out! (mainly getting a realpuki body before the end of the year)
