Minifee MNF Discussion thread Part 13

I really don't think any molds are better than the other. All molds are equally beautiful, imo. It's really depending on your taste. I would just rather look at the pictures of all Chloe and Rheia and just decide from there. It actually took me a while to decide between Shushu and Chloe before I decided to take Chloe instead. Never regretted the decision.

But anyways, I just wanted to share what I made for my girl. A bear hat and a beret. (Had been such a crocheting mood lately!)





The beret could be better, and larger, but still, rather cute on my girl at least. XD;

Whaaat? They are doing a winter event? I was hoping they'd still be so backlogged that they wouldn't have one... Fairyland, you are evil. Evil, I say! Wow, Silver Identity! Those hats look fantastic! I'm not that goo of a crocheter yet. I can make scarves and blankets - basically flat things, - but it would be awesome to make something like that some day. Thanks for sharing! And your girl is super cute in them.

 

I agree with what others have said...there is no such thing as "better"; you have to decide which you want first or most!

 

Nhynme, I think the answer to your question as to which is better, a Chloe or a Rheia... I think it's simple!

Lyzrd has the better answer! Totally agree with her. ;D But of course, if you have to choose one (perhaps as your first Minifee and then decide to get a second later), then the answer would be the same as I said before. (Of course other people mentioned the same too. :3 )

EilonwyG: Thank you so much for your kind comment! *A*;;; It was rather odd that I could make hats and crochet animals and such, but when it comes to clothes, I find myself stuck for a bit. Funny was that I only just picked crocheting up, like, quite recently but I had been crocheting almost everyday. >__<;; Lol. But if you ever feel like trying these hats out, do tell me. I can PM the links on where I got the patterns.

read this just in time! i was going to start a layaway on a luka today, but i'll wait till next week. i had just decided that fairyland wasn't going to have a summer event so i might as well order.

on another note, you'd think by now i'd realize that a fairyland thread must have closed when i don't see any new posts for the day, but nope i missed 13 pages before i figured it out this time ! too bad the subscriptions don't automatically carry forward...

 

I've been going through the same process. My next girl was going to be Rheia but I love all the custom Chloes. But as I need to save I'm going to have plenty of time to make my mind up!

 

Answering the call for Kyle girl spam. I don't have her anymore though. But she was intense and exotic in my opinion.

 

Oooh! I'm excited for the winter event. It may push my other doll plans aside (c'mon I neeeeed my Peakswoods girl), but depending on the event details it might be worth it. I just have to decide between a Karsh boy and a Rheia girl. I wonder if they'll do another limited vampire sculpt? Can you imagine a vampire Rheia or Marcia?!

I'm excited about a winter event too. I have a body through dde that I'd intended sharing between my miyu and marcia. With an event coming, maybe I can squeeze in another body for the head I'm getting from the mp.

Mendo - I love Sparrow. She's so beautiful! She makes me miss my shushu.
Silver Identity - Your chloe looks so adorable in her bear hat! The weather is cooling off quickly and I need to get started on knitting some mini sweaters. I'm so lazy lately!
GamerGirlLexi - Your Emma is gorgeous! Congrats! I keep trying to put my girl in a dark wig, but she is not having any part of it.
napria - I love Kyle and Karsh as girls. Even though you no longer have her, she is quite lovely! Very exotic looking indeed.

 

Nhynme- Short Answer: Both! LOL! I have both! I think my Rheia has a much sexier, mature sculpt, while my Chloe can be sexy, it's soooo easy to make her look more like a cutie pie/sweetheart. What type of girl are you really looking for? Or do you know ;P)

Silver Identity- I love the bear hat! Do you sell these? (If you have and it's been obvious I apologize for being oblivious!)

Kittywolf13- Penelope! Always makes me think of "flowery"

 

Well the wig belongs to another girl of mine, and I didnt want to have a blonde brigade. Yep, she was sent with 16mm eyes and I ordered a bunch of 14 and waiting for them to come in.

 

Chloe is on my wishlist ! I want another MNF ! One day ! Perhaps XD !!!!

 

Ah, today I shipped out the last minifee I had. Then I came home and tried to sew SD clothes but, it was boring, or maybe it was her size.

I'm just sooo excited about my Karsh Girl! The order goes out this Saturday and then the long wait begins... I wonder what the wait time is exactly right now? I'm still peeved about the event thing! emsinnott- I have a karsh head, and a girl body. But together they do not equal my Karsh girl. D: Once I get the right faceup, I will spam the crap outta her for you!

 

A question I might be able to answer, since Ryeon is the one MNF I have at home. I'd say her face shape is round more than heart-shaped, though she does have a little bit of a pointy chin. I haven't taken any photos of her, but I'll try to get one to add to the spam later on today.

Silver I do, but I can't focus on 4 dolls at the same time. Wednesday is coming back (I want her to be A-line.. I'm gonna miss her faceup though!) and it'll take me a while to get Shuggie again, since my mom wants my money to go towards "better" and more productive stuff :/

Silver Identity your hat rocks! I was only saying about an hour before you posted that how I would soooo love my rika to have a matching panda hat like mine (mine looks like the bear one but obv in panda colours) ... its the most awesome thing i have ever seen!!

and i've stepped back in just in time for the call of ryeon spam... which rika is more than happy mto oblige (although she doesn't look to willing here) lol she loves it really!
