Minifee MNF Discussion thread Part 13

i'm still waiting on my chloe to get here!! ^___^ i'm so excited, she's going to be so spoilt. i'm currently on the prowl for a sister for her, i'm considering either a minifee woosoo ve girl or a rheia.. or maybe a miyu. if anyone has any spam of chloe and other mnf girls, i would love to see them!

i'm not big on rena, but your girl is extremely cute and i love seeing her! you should share your dolls because you love them, not because of somebody else i hope you won't let others' opinions keep you from sharing her in the future!

the c-line body makes a mnf look more petite i wouldn't say it looks off, but it just depends on how you want your mnf to look!

Half.Jak- I'm the same way. If I don't like a doll, I'm not actually going to tell the owner. Which is what happened to me lol There is a difference in someone saying "Oh, I'm just not too fond of that mold" and "...wow, she really isn't that pretty, is she?" Yeah.

 

Mmm I've had people react that way about some of my dolls, mostly Isaiah my Lishe from my MNF and to a couple DZs that I own. It's not really a nice thing to hear by any means.. Just another thing to deal with. :P not everyone in the hobby can be tactful when it counts. That being said... I DO like Rena as a sculpt which only happened after I saw owner pictures ^^-

 

Aw Hippolovergurl I know how it is. Haha. Lots of people aren't actually that fond of Rheia and when I had mine I knew to some she was unwelcome but *shrugs* It's my doll, I think shes pretty, I like to spam her. Dwi. lol. I say spam her all you want =]

So for those of you who get silicone wig caps for your dolls, what size do they take (particularly Rheia)? I was going to get a size 6 from DDE, but they're out of stock so I'm wondering if a size 5 will work. Also, is there a place besides DDE to buy wig caps?

 

Muffinator: I am getting a few wig caps at some point from either Cool-Cat or Fatio on eBay. They are fairly cheap at least....I just have to figure out my Shushu's size since she is the main reason I want one (she has a 7-8 wig I love, it just won't stay put right)

 

I've purchased a wig cap from DDE and personally don't like how 'gel-y' they are because everything gets stuck on them, they remind me of those sticky/gel-y toys I used to play with as a kid from the 50 cent machines at grocery stores, lol~~

I recently bought Zephii a MSD wig cap from Luts just because I like that material much better! (My SD girl had one from there before, so I figured I'd get another MSD one). I also bought Brink, my incoming Karsh, one as well~

 

My mom has a habit of buying things off infomercials in the wee hours of the morning. She bought some of that tape that only sticks to itself. Works wonderfully for making my own wig caps, she didn't even notice I snagged the clear roll, haha.

 

Muffin, I get my wig caps from LaureBelleCouture on etsy! Hands down, my favorite silicone wig caps, and pretty reasonably priced!

 

Finally found my camera. So here is my Soo Sophie, she is in the wig she came with and her proper eyes are on order. Will have more pics when I get her face done up.

Hey all you MNF owners out there! ^-^ I've decided to tentatively make my first post here. Just ordered MNF Chloe about a week ago and I'm super duper excited! Looking at everyone's pictures here, I'm just falling more and more in love with MNFs I'm also thinking of getting a Miyu when I have the moneys. ^^ And probably more after that depending on how I like them!~

I finally had time to do Blair's faceup last night. Took me until early in the morning to finish! It's kind of rough and imperfect, but I'm happy with the results, considering this is my first faceup.

Here's my newest girl (literally, I got her today). I was lucky enough for the humidity to be low all day to do her faceup.. on both heads! ~_~ I love the way they came out, but I'm so tired right now, haha. hell oeveryone! i do not have a minifee yet but my boyfriend and I are both interested in the minifee rena package they have on their site. i've seen owner photos and seems like she has been up for sale since june 2011 however is she a limited and will she ever sell out?

Yuki_Cross - As a limited, there is a definite possibility that she will sell out. It seems most people prefer to wait for owner pictures before ultimately deciding they want a doll. Rena's been out for awhile and has been well-received thus far, so if you are in a position to afford her through layaway it would be wise to snatch her while you can!

Eep. You're right, I don't see anything about layaway on the Fairyland site itself. So many companies offer the option, I just assumed. (Sorry!) However, you CAN do layaway for Rena Full Package through Denver Doll Emporium.

She stole this wig off my Rosette so I'm not sure if Marcia has a large noggin or if the Rosette wigs are smaller, but it looked to good to take off and try any others. Maybe tomorrow

Thanks Aiushtha! Her wig is the Kana Wild wig in the pinkish hue (the lighter pink) from jpop dolls. I love Marcias, but I think I could only own one if she were as beautiful and unique as Elsii's. ^_^

 

Teehee, it's the default faceup so there's nothing unique about her, but I'll take that compliment

 

She looks different from other Marcias. Maybe it's the angle! The colors pop in that photo. She's got personality and 'tude, so maybe that's what's coming out. ^_^

Hi, I've recently adopted a gorgeous MNF Rheia, and I need to find her a wig. Most of my 6-7s don't fit, but a couple do which leaves me puzzled what size is best to buy. Can anyone tell me what size wig fits from Jpops/Monique etc, whether I need a 6-7 or 7-8? Thanks!!

 

kayjay, I've got my Rheia wearing a fairyland wig, but the 6.5 Leeke wigs fit her fantastically and the 6-7 Monique/Jpop wigs do as well!

 

Ryssa, oooh, another Soo! Yay! I used to not like the sculpt very much, but now I have... three Soos. Two modded and one non-modded, but the non-modded one doesn't have a faceup yet, either! I've come to really love the cute nose and mouth of this sculpt!

Beka-Lyse, that's a very cute outfit, it suits her well!

Saira, she's so beautiful! And I love those hands, I wish they were available for the B-Line body!
