Minifee MNF Discussion thread Part 13

I have b-line as my girl is second-hand and I would definately go for a-line next time. I prefer the flexibility of the hands and upper torso that the a line has. Plus there are more hands for a line.

 

Most definitely an A-line - the extra joint in the torso makes a massive difference even when sitting - B-lines have a slant backwards that can't be adjusted.

I've posted this before, but Kieran (blue and white shirt) is a Juri 10 head on a boy chicline body.
I wanted him to be shorter than the other guy, Bastian, and closer in length to his twin sister Keelin, on the right.

quick question, do nine9style leggins fit mnf? (i know there clothing is hit and miss) Thank you for any help you can give me here

 

Nikki- I personally haven't owned the leggins but I know someone who bought some with a pair of boots and she said the leggings fit, they are tight to her legs the way leggings should fit ^_^ Don't know if that helps at all :P

Uhm I got some stockings with the boots I ordered from nine9style and they fit very well. Here I'll spam them. They don't even become so stretched that they are terribly see-through when her knees are bent.



Wow people have actually been rude to you about your Rena! Hippolovergurl She's so cute!!
I don't want one, because I have certain things I'm looking for in my planned dolls that need to fulfill character needs, but that certainly doesn't make Rena's any less cute.
Personally though I don't thing the FL photos and the full set outfit do her justice and those might have put people off.
For instance take Karsh and Chloe, neither of their default face-ups regardless of how good the FL artist are; are to my tastes.
Give the folks who don't like her time, I've noticed these little resin faces start to grow on you once you've seen them long enough. XD

No, that's not weird. I love that something as simple as the shape of an eyebrow can totally change the look of these girls.

Crimsonbrush How's your chic line standing like that!? it's almost like she's floating and only just touching ground. If a stand is involved you did a great job of hiding it.

I redid the faceup on my Rix sleeping head. Looks like he wants to be his own character. For now I'll call him Zane unless I think of something else. And now poor Hades is a floating head XD

I've got a b line. the arms are not double jointed but they pose nicely. the hands don't have the ball shape that allows them to bend as much, but I greatly prefer my body over an ALine. the boy gq tilt made me batty, and the hands fell off all the time. it was murder trying to even pose his hands because they popped right off. B line is still really balanced nicely, stands like a rock. I sueded Mayhem's knees lightly and she's a dream. The solid torso can be a bit frustrating, but it's still beautiful. I couldn't get an a line if I wanted, since Mayhem's yellowed, but I'm perfectly content with her body, and wouldn't get an a line at this point in time. and if i did, i'd get the b line hands to go with it, rather then deal with the magnets.

 

Don't worry, your Rena is a cutie! I didn't like Rena at first, but after seeing owner pics, I now find her absolutely adorable. If ever I get another MNF, I'm getting one!

I think I need to put in more sueding and maybe try restringing, my girl stands great but for more complex things she tends to flop over at the hips. She doesn't like to do one footer things either.
