I finally got a chance to make one of these!! It has all my MNFs except for my WIP Chiwoo...when did I get so many?! O_O

Also, I'm loving the Karsh spam!! Keep it coming!!

 

You're right, that's what it is, everyone already knows each other and it's extremely awkward.
Some people there are really nice though, but some look and act a bit rude.

When I got my first MNF I had the same problem. I found that there are tabs in the upper thigh pieces and if they do not match up with the indents in the hip pieces, he will not stand. Not sure if anyone else has this problem but I have it all the time. Just make sure things are lined up properly and try again. If it does not work, a little hot glue sueding can help.

Goodness, I go away on vacation and come back to another new thread! As always, lovely spam everyone! I'm loving the Karsh spam.

A few weeks ago, I went down the shore to Point Pleasant, NJ and took Tam with me. Kearsy took her Taryn and we took some pictures on the beach.

I really need to do this mosaic thing. I did a few, but I'm not sure I like them. They don't let me center the pictures properly.

Belated Karsh spam:

 

I've never gone so I don't know any of them in person - I wouldn't be rude to you My biggest negative is first having to drive 20 min to the train station, then the hour ride (which isn't cheap)to the city and then having to do it over again to get back home. Honestly though, I would like to go once, just to see what it's like ... I'm just curious that way.

EDIT - someday I'll have girl Karsh to spam for ya'll but alas ... not yet

Haha, it won't be a for a LONG while, or at least until I find a high-paying job of some kind, which might be difficult as I'm still in school. I plan to get him with the Normal body and then eventually switch him out with a C-Line Muscular body when I can afford one. Why not just get the Muscular A-Line, you might ask? For some reason, the MNF Muscular ab shape just weirds me out. I like the look of the C-Line body better.

They have meets at the Palisades? Do you mean the Palisades mall?
Again I'd love to see all the Minifees in person I visited the Volks store in Cali this summer and really enjoyed seeing dolls in person, so I will probably go to a meet some time. Especially if I know there will be a lot of Fairyland dolls to be seen even smaller or larger ones actually.

navci the sword is amazing! The boy needs some fencing clothes with a sword like that.

KARSH uh! every time I see a non default Karsh I want one. The default is very nicely done but to dark for my taste. I like the soft natural faceups the best.

I actually have this problem with both my mnfs quite often. When I first received Machine's body, I was certain it was defective. (I'm still not really convinced it's not xD) But, I've worked with him alot and posing him is easy now, just a bit different than my others. Plus I've blushed him, so the MSC DEFINITELY helps.
Luna's hands are also a bit of a problem. They are a VERY tight fit..which is awesome for staying on... but a little difficult to pop back on. Where as Machine's snap back on the minute the magnets get in to place.

I just received my girl last week as a birthday present to myself.
I don't post alot of pictures of my dolls, and I always miss the doll meets, so~ Meet Lunatic Pandora and Machine.

The rapier is actually made by a sword making company as a letter opener or desk decoration! The scale is so perfect I love it. Not sure where you can get yours locally but it is made by Cas Iberia.

Sadly the bookstore is gone, but Sanrio is still there i like putting tinies into the candy bins and taking pictures xD. usually people end up staying the whole time and then wondering where the hours went o-o; it's over an hour drive for me to get down that way but it's fun

Agreed Rena's eyes are not as big as they seem in the FL pics. I'm looking at a close up of my DES and they are actually almost identical.
EDit: their eyes are very similar, the major difference is the way the Rena's inner corner of the eye dips like the Juri 08 or some of the other dolls

Hi Everyone, my first ever post here on DOA. I've been following the minifee threads since christmas when I started looking into BJDs, and the minifee's called to me! In June I received my boy, a Luka named Sheldon, and I'm so pleased i chose a minifee as a first doll, they are amazing. I've loved looking at all the spam over the 8 months and so excited that I can now join in (once I've worked out how to post photos). Enough rambling now.
