omg! new thread?? I went outside for a few days and here we have lots of beautiful pictures!

I just finished Enkeli's Snowsuit, and also, yesterday her white leeke wig arrived... It was a VERY curly one, so i straightened, and made some cuts here and there, so she can have lovely hair lying around her cheeks x3

Shiwoo spam! All of my sister's dollies are staying with me because it's too hot. This boy is very happy to not only be out of the heat, but to also have a good foot, even if it's not his and just temporary.

Hey Everyone!! I was wondering if anyone who bought the MNF high heel feet could spam it and tell me the measurements of the length and width of them. Uzi wears a lot of heels and I need to know the dimensions so I know what to shop for. Can someone please me?

 

I took some impromptu photos of my Rheia/Rosalie a few minutes ago with my cell phone, so just a quick spam pic before I head to bed! Everyone's pics are great! I am trying to keep up a little better again!

There was someone who posted a picture of their cutie legged doll with the high heel feet in the previous thread and I meant to ask for the measurements but time to spend online is so limited for me and then I could not find it again.

If someone will be so kind as to put us out of our misery with actual measurements of the MNF high heel feet, could they also go so far as to take a picture of a MNF high heel foot on a grid in the same way as I did with a Unoa 2’s foot in a post of mine concerning shoes for Unoa 2.

That way we can get a feel for the shape of the arch and how high the heel would have to be for the doll to free stand wearing high heel shoes.

Arrgh, nikki, I could grill you forver on your room setups for your girls, but at the very least, what are you using for beds? Do you have actual MNF-sized beds under there, or is it like a box or something? ;^; I really need/want a bed setup for Fi or Jamie, but I'm not sure the best way to go about it...

-inverinate- I know you weren't asking me but I made a bet out of square dowels and amazing goop (glue) it was really simple and I think it's adorable! I'll post pictures later.

GDH and Passionasfashion - I measured my high heeled feet and I got 2cm by 5cm. Here is a pic of the foot on the only grid I can get to atm:


I hope some crafty person out there creates some new shoes for these feet soon. Maybe a wedge. I do like the feet, but it's a bit of work getting her to hold her pose in the FL heels.

Go to Denver Dolls website and look up Shaggies under the wig section. If you want a fake fur/mohair wig, there are a ton to choose from and lots of colors. DollWhy also has some fur wigs.

Rio, I use a small crochet hook to hold onto the elastic that hooks around the foot and just switch them out that way. It's not hard. I do have one girl who is tightly strung, I wouldn't try them on her.

 

#7 are back from when Luts still sold the minifee line. When fairyland took it over, for some reason they dropped that head. So there aren't many around here on DOA at all, I can think of maybe 4 of us who have one. it's VERY rare.

I suspected from FL's pictures of the recent girl release with the new high heel feet that "free standing" in the FL resin shoes themselves was likely to be problematic. Your confirmation makes me glad that I did not waste my money for any resin shoes.

Yes indeed, I agree with you and hope that some source will open up for fabulous fitting, in scale, and fashionable shoes to fit these new feet ASAP!

Aaaand here's Munin. I couldn't get a real good shot of her face, but I'm thinking it's because the lighting was terrible tonight and she is so dark with her wig. It also stained her head a little bit so I had to take it off so I can soak it first. For the info, Verdandi's wig is a Monique Ginger in the light blonde, and Munin's is Jrock in almost black. I think I want a jet black for her. And uh, the ouija board in the background is actually my coffee table. :P

Here is another shot I took the other night with my camera phone in poor lighting, but my new smart phone allows me to take a photo and post it immediately to flickr and then I can easily post it here, which will allow me to take and post photos more often, even if they aren't perfect! It takes so long to upload the photos to my computer and then to flickr that I hardly ever get to do it!

Anyway, a shot of my Rosalie and Seorin. I have had him since Jan. or Feb., but he also hasn't been posted yet! I still haven't decided on an official name for him, I'm better with the girl names! I would like to eventually get a new face-up for him to give him a little more color, but it works for now! I need more time to spend with my dolls!

Thank you all, and lovely spams from you guys too. ^_^ I actually made her runestones (there's a complete set there) and that particular deck was bought off the marketplace which was fairly stupid, considering I've been able to reduce the size of full decks and print them myself at practically no cost (which is what the person I bought them from did). :P I have a huge collection of miniature tarot decks I've bought from various places (look for the world's smallest tarot on ebay ^_^).
